Chapter 231: Benjamin Joins the Fray!

God, she’s stubborn...

How does she think I feel watching her get pummeled like that, without being allowed to interfere?

I will soon ignore her wishes completely and join the battle too, whether she wants me there or not.

As the battle seemed to gradually fall into the Children’s favor with every passing moment, Claire bit her lips hard enough to draw a thin line of blood.

"Dumb sister of mine!" She shrieked loudly, her voice filled with raw frustration and worry, and she widened her palms in a decisive motion.

Violet light gathered quickly in a warm, intricate design hovering just above her open palms until it formed two short, perfectly straight swords that shimmered with ominous energy.

Then she threw one with all her strength, then immediately threw the second one right after it, both blades streaking toward Clay like violet comets.

And despite the Third Born gripping the first sword tightly as it flew straight toward Clay, it still lost its entire hand in the process.

I mean, it managed to hold onto the flying sword for a brief moment, but the sword kept moving forward with this unstoppable force until it tore off the entire arm at the shoulder and finally landed securely in Clay’s waiting hands.

Yep, that sword must be crazy heavy and incredibly sharp to do something like that so easily.

And as the sword finally reached Clay’s hand... death occurred almost instantly for anything that stood against her.

They couldn’t stand even the smallest chance anymore.

Clay was now slicing them into thin films with terrifying precision, appearing everywhere across the battlefield at once with her sword swinging in wide, deadly arcs that left nothing untouched.

The Second Born was only a few meters away and tried to move forward aggressively, but Clay appeared suddenly right behind it without any warning...

And afterwards the Second Born’s entire body began to drop apart as if nothing at all was holding its limbs together anymore, pieces falling away in clean sections.

Raising her head slowly, the Eldest Born had come so close that even I didn’t know exactly when she had gotten so near to Clay in complete silence.

And with her now in such close proximity to everything, all the Children instantly revived with renewed strength and aggression.

BAM!

The Eldest Born instantly thrust her fist at Clay quickly and powerfully, throwing the small body flying far across the plain in a wide distance.

Subsequently, Clay used her wings to anchor herself desperately against the ground, and then tried to come up with some kind of effective countermeasure.

But the Second Born had already reached her in a blur and slashed viciously across her cheek, her leg, and her abdomen in rapid succession.

Clay fell heavily onto her knees, breathing hard and ragged, her small chest rising and falling with obvious exhaustion and pain.

The Second Born raised its blade arm high up into the air, ready to bring it down with crushing force, but Claire arrived in time and defended against the strike with her own long sword held firmly in both hands.

Maybe irritated by the sudden interference, the Second Born turned its legs into a large, sharp blade and kicked at them with brutal power.

Claire used her sword to block the incoming kick too, but... the blade easily severed Claire’s sword in two and continued forward to hit her directly in the stomach with devastating force.

Claire’s face twisted sharply in agony, her features contorting from the intense pain, as she and Clay were both sent flying far across the battlefield together.

Roselyn flew over there immediately in a burst of speed, shouting, "I’ll bring them back quickly!"

And she caught up to them in a great burst of speed, the two fairies hitting her chest hard and stabilizing themselves against her body with shaky hands.

However, as Roselyn was about to turn and fly back over here to safety—

"Shit! Roselyn, watch out!" My warning came too late.

Roselyn was way too tired to react the way she normally would have.

The Sixth Born, the least opponent anyone would expect to be so sneaky, appeared in incredible speed right in the back of them.

Its arms whipped outward like flexible tentacles before suddenly straightening into a long, sharp pole which Roselyn, Claire, and Clay all pierced themselves into seamlessly in one horrifying moment.

The Sixth Born watched their unmoving forms for a brief second and then turned its other hand into a wide, sharp blade to sever them all at once.

GBAAAM!!

Its arms shattered completely from the sudden impact that landed on it, its body hit the ground so hard that it bounced violently upward once before slamming down again.

I had teleported there immediately and elbowed the life out of the Sixth Born with everything I had, putting so much brute strength into the strike that its arms broke apart instantly.

Then I punched its chest with devastating force as the entire area around the chest fell inward in a grotesque, cratered manner from the sheer power.

Before it could fly off from the overwhelming force of the punch, I caught its body firmly, my fingers sinking deep into its face with crushing grip.

And I turned rapidly, and turned again, and turned even faster, spinning like a helicopter’s blade gaining full speed.

And then I released it into the distant horizon, far beyond where the eyes could see.

While something like liquid, bright red and orange elements streamed out of my hand at the exact same moment I threw the Sixth Born away.

It was a high volume of concentrated fire element that erupted from my hand like a roaring inferno, and it collided with the Sixth Born far off in the distance, exploding it violently into nothing but a fine, drifting mist that scattered across the sky.

I don’t think it’d kill it, but that should slow down its return... If it can even come back from such a distance.

The others immediately rushed straight for me with renewed aggression and murderous intent, their grotesque forms surging forward without any hesitation.

Actually... they were not exuding bloodlust at all. They were just coming to me like robots, like I could be quickly disposed off.
