The System Sent Me to Breed an All-Female Amazon Tribe-Chapter 230: Clay, the Dragon Warrior/ the Eldest Born Finally Moves
***
Sigh... I truly didn’t know if I should be connecting my Soul Link with people at all, or if I should actually start doing it far more often than I had been doing so far.
"Benjamin...? You’re crying..." Isabelle turned away from the rampaging Clay to look directly at me, her eyes widening slightly as she noticed the tears that were steadily rolling down my face.
"No, nothing," I replied quickly, trying to keep my voice steady even though it wavered a little, "I think Clay needs help."
"Yes, at this rate, she is far too unpredictable."
No, I meant something else entirely: Clay needs help, not with these Titans in front of us... She needs real mental and soul help, the kind that goes much deeper than any battlefield could ever reach.
These Titans are the ones who actually need the most help right now, if anything.
Clay was clearly not in any kind of reasonable state at the moment. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
She faced the Second Born with a single crushing blow delivered from her small fist, and the creature simply popped like an overfilled balloon under far too much pressure.
The Sixth Born came charging straight at her with terrifying speed, but she grabbed its head with both of her hands and squeezed with overwhelming force.
Due to the immense power she was releasing in waves, everyone present—even the Eldest Born herself—suddenly became very interested in her, their attention snapping toward the small violet-haired girl.
Before the Third bulking Born even wanted to move from its position, Clay was somehow already standing right in front of it in the blink of an eye.
It quickly threw its big, heavy hand forward in a powerful punch aimed straight at the tiny girl below it.
Clay punched back without any hesitation, and its entire hand exploded violently on impact, while her small hands still surged forward with unstoppable momentum and blasted the creature’s head into complete smithereens in one devastating strike.
The others kept coming at her without pause, and Clay kept crushing them one after another, fighting the entire five of them at once in a wild haze of bright blasts and powerful punches that vibrated the air around her.
The Second Born turned one of its hands into a sharp, ornately designed blade and thrust it directly at Clay with lethal intent.
Clay tried to dodge the incoming strike, but the Sixth Born held her firmly in place so that the blade would pierce straight through both of them at the same time.
CLANG!
But no, Clay bit down hard on the blade with her small teeth and tilted her head sharply to the side, bursting the pseudo-metal apart with raw strength.
And then, using the sharp shard she had just bitten off, she spun around rapidly and turned the Sixth Born into nothing but ribbons of grey flesh in a whirlwind of vicious cuts.
She spat out the shard with great force, and it flew through the air like a deadly projectile, tearing a clean hole straight into both the Fourth and the Fifth Born at once.
The Second Born was just about to recover from having one of its arms completely destroyed earlier, but Clay stabbed her hand viciously into its face, and a bright violet glow erupted violently from the point of impact, turning the entire Second Born into a wide pool of dark blood from the explosive blast that followed.
Roselyn and Claire were left with nothing to do but stand there and watch, probably feeling useless.
The six Borns were now far too strong, and with even the smallest actions from them, the surrounding landscape took heavy damages that cracked the earth and splintered distant trees.
And Clay was showing a part of herself that had never been shown before in front of any of us.
Not to mention, the aura radiating from her seemed eerily similar to the one she had displayed long ago as the pure girl who had taken the overwhelming power of the dragon’s eye into herself.
This was not a fairy fighting anymore. This was something far more primal and destructive. It was a dragon unleashed.
Roselyn and Claire had not yet reached that terrifying level of power themselves, and so they could only stand back and watch the scene unfold with wide eyes and bated breaths.
Then, sadly, the Eldest Born finally began to move from her position, on the raised earth, near the cliff.
With just one single step forward, her aura surged outward like a powerful electromagnetic field, shaking even the distant forest where we stood with violent intensity.
That single shockwave, which immediately drew Clay’s full attention straight toward her, caused the Second Born to deal a sharp, deep wound across Clay’s rib.
It sliced through Clay’s side while she barely managed to evade the worst of the strike at the very last moment.
Clay destroyed its face completely in retaliation, but it seemed the pain from the wound was immense on Clay.
Maybe the blade had been poisoned somehow.
Isabelle immediately ordered Roselyn and Claire to retrieve Clay...But that was far easier said than done.
Clay’s aura right now was so intense that it could burn anyone who got too close straight to cinder in mere seconds.
Nevertheless, just seconds of distraction were all it took, and Clay suddenly became a helpless ball in the middle of a chaotic field.
The Children began to slam her small body violently across the field, slashing and punching her without mercy in rapid heartbeats.
But even through all that torment and pain, Clay still managed to tear them apart with ferocious determination.
I seriously wanted to immediately go there and help her.
I had wanted to go for quite a while now, but... this one message kept repeating inside my mind over and over again, refusing to let me move:
[Please, Benjamin, let me do this alone. I have to do this!] [Clay]
And whenever I asked her why through the link, I only received the exact same message again and again.
The only thing she could sanely provide me with was that single repeated plea.
Else, she was like a wild animal, growling louder and roaring fiercely as she gave and took her relentless beating without any sign of stopping.
God, she’s stubborn...
How does she think I feel watching her get pummeled like that, without being allowed to interfere?
