The Royal Mark-Chapter 202: Terra

The wolf pup excitedly licked her tears while wagging its tail.

She wiped her tears and said, "Are you coming out now baby?"

The puppy just barked happily at her, although she wished that he could talk just like Ciel and Gaia, she still understood what he meant anyway.

"Alright, Mommy is excited to see you but Mommy needs to wake up first. Can you howl once more? So that the pain will wake Mommy up?" Elsa said to the wolf pup.

Just when she thought he could understand her, he tilted his head and his ears moved a bit while looking clueless as he stared at her.

"Hmm, how can I make you howl?" Elsa murmured while thinking. "Ah! Say awoo... awoo..." Elsa tried her best to howl like a wolf or at least like a baby wolf.

"AWOOO!!!"

Fortunately, the wolf pup mimicked her howl, and shortly afterward, she felt another contraction. It was more intense and much longer this time. The pain became so unbearable that she instinctively embraced herself, and had to drop to the ground in a fetal position to ease the pain even just by a bit.

"Ahh!" Elsa yelped and noticed that the baby wolf did not lick her face anymore, so she tried to look for him.

The moment she opened her eyes, she was back in the guest room and the pain subsided but not for too long, as her contractions quickly came back as soon as she stood up.

"Argh! Mom! Get in here please!" Elsa shouted.

The door opened wide in less than a minute, and she saw Hera and Queen Ydril come in.

"Is it coming?" Hera asked and quickly assisted Elsa in lying down on the bed.

"Yes, he is coming very very soon... Ahhh!!!" Elsa screamed as another contraction came.

"He?" Queen Ydril asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty, my baby is a boy, I saw his wolf in my dreams a very cute pup... Oh God, Mom! He is coming fast," Elsa said when her water broke and felt that her baby was very excited to come out as she felt the sudden drop of her baby bump.

"Oh dear, let me help you undress while your mother prepares," Queen Ydril informed Elsa.

Hera quickly took out the clamps, hemostat, gloves, and suction that Elandir had stolen for her from Novus during one of his visits in an attempt to find Elsa’s father. The next thing she lined up beside Elsa were clean towels.

"Oh gosh, I forgot the hot water," Hera uttered.

"Let me ask my servants to start boiling," Queen Ydril mentioned to Elsa grasping her arm when she was about to leave her side.

"No, there’s no time, get a metal bowl and water I will use my fire magic to heat it," Elsa said.

The queen nodded and immediately left, but she did not have to go to the kitchen anymore since she saw Elandir coming out of the kitchen with the huge metal bowl filled with water. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Here Mother, take it. I heard her screaming and heard your conversation when I was about to go to the room," Elandir explained.

One of the servants took the bowl instead and went to the room with the queen while Elandir stayed in the hallway. He was so worried and anxious as he listened to Elsa’s scream.

"Christopher, you idiot! How could you miss the birth of your firstborn? You will surely regret this," Elandir murmured to himself as he shook his head.

He knows that Chris is powerful so he doesn’t understand why is Chris not fighting back and doing all this. If he wants to, he can surely slash the throat of the witch queen even without shifting to his wolf.

"Ahh! I can’t Mom. It’s too painful, just cut me, please," Elsa pleaded as she cried while holding the hands of Queen Ydril and her servant.

"Elsa, you can do it. You have to! You know that we don’t have the tools and equipment here to do a C-section," Hera urged.

"I think his cord is coiled. I could feel him stop at a certain point when I pushed. I can’t do this!" Elsa exclaimed.

"No, you can do this. Stop saying you can’t! On the next contraction give all you’ve got!" Hera implored.

Elsa nodded as she breathed out from her mouth while waiting for the next contraction.

"You can do this, dear," Queen Ydril encouraged. "Strengthen your resolve and for sure you can do it. We are all excited to see your cute baby."

Elsa only nodded to the queen as well. She knew it would be painful but she had never imagined how intense it could be.

When the contraction came she squeezed hard on both the hands of the queen and the servant as she gave all her strength in pushing her baby out.

Elandir wanted to cover his ears to not hear Elsa’s scream. It was overwhelming for a man like him even though he was not the father. He stood up from his seat and started pacing in the hallway to calm his nerves until the paintings on the wall started falling down.

Elandir stopped walking and felt the floor trembling, he looked up and saw the chandeliers swaying. He frowned and looked around, he saw more things falling down.

One of the servants approached him and said, "Earthquake! We are having an earthquake!" before he turned left to inform the other servants as if they were not feeling it.

"In Qiryn? No, no, no. This isn’t right. Qiryn doesn’t get earthquakes," Elandir said to himself.

Dust and other small debris from the ceiling started falling as the mansion’s concrete wall began to have visible cracks. Elandir heard loud noises from outside as if the ground was being torn apart.

He briskly heads to the nearest window which glass’ shattered before he even touched it. Elandir gasped and covered his mouth while placing his other hand on his waist. He cannot believe the sight that was revealed before him.

The once-flat mansion courtyard and garden are now in complete havoc. The land was cracked, and blocks of ground were lifted as if a giant just smashed it with a giant hammer. It looks like huge creatures came out of the surface, destroying everything in its path.

The terrain has completely changed and is still moving as new cracks and new fissures appear.

In the guest room...

Elsa couldn’t take it anymore, she literally and honestly felt that she would either soon faint or die. Everything in her hurts. She was tired of pushing and she could feel herself losing her strength.

"I-I c-can’t..." Elsa sobbed.

’Chris... I think I can’t do it... I think I will really die... I’m so sorry, I’m too weak...’ she uttered in their mate bond but of course, nothing happened, their link was shut down.

[You’re not weak... I’m here... I can feel you pull me...] she heard Gaia say.

She looked at Gaia who was sitting calmly in the corner of the room even though the mansion was shaking and saw amber eyes glowing.

’Gaia? Help me, please help me. I couldn’t take it anymore...’ she said through the link.

[Call my name, princess. Call my true name, Elsa!] Gaia exclaimed.

Elsa wailed loudly as she pushed when another contraction came and shouted, "Terra!!!"

Her scream was so loud that even Elandir heard it.

"What the hell is happening?" Elandir asked himself thinking that the world might be ending...

Then everything stopped... The ground stopped breaking... The mansion stopped shaking... Then he heard the sweet sweet cry of a newborn baby.

His eyes lit up and his lips curved into a huge smile before he turned around and started running back to the door where Elsa was.

"It is out? Can I come in now?" He asked impatiently.

"Yes, Elandir. Your godson is here. Please come in," he heard Elsa say.

’Godson?’ he thought. His eyes widened and his grin turned bigger reaching his ears if that’s even possible.

He slammed the door open almost breaking it since the walls suffered damage from the earthquake. But he doesn’t care, all he wants to do is to take a peek at the little cub of his best friend.

He saw Elsa’s messy hair and sweaty face as she cradled in her arms the little baby boy. Elsa handed him the baby and what came into view was a cute, pink chubby cheeks, red-haired baby boy with gray eyes blinking before him.

He didn’t know why but his tears suddenly fell, overwhelmed by the encounter. He laughed and did everyone when he wiped his tears while saying, "Just to be clear, I am not the father. I am just overjoyed to see my best friend’s baby for the first time after thinking that the world is about to end."

"Because of the earthquake?" Hera asked while cleaning up the mess.

"I don’t think that’s a real earthquake, Qiryn doesn’t have that," Elandir uttered while holding the tiny little hands of Elsa and Chris’ baby.

"Yeah, you’re right. Sorry about that. Maybe I could fix the mess I’ve made later?" Elsa said.

Elandir frowned as he tried to understand what Elsa had just said. He then slowly looked at her with a dropped jaw as he realized what she meant.

"That was you? Are you telling us that it was you who destroyed our whole courtyard and garden and made everyone panic?"
