The Royal Mark-Chapter 140: Get Hard on Me
Kaizer promptly began Elsa’s training on the grounds after she switched into mahogany-colored leather pants and a sleeveless top. Unable to find an outfit that perfectly fit her, Laureen provided a slightly snug top, causing Elsa to leave the top two buttons undone, accentuating her chest. The pants were so form-fitting that they elegantly showcased the contours of her behind, thighs, and legs, drawing attention from both male and female soldiers and mages engaged in training.
"This is a bad idea," Rylie, who was standing on the sides while watching her husband train Elsa commented.
"I agree. Just look at those soldiers and mages checking her out," Arla seconded.
"Girls, will you please relax? You should get used to it. In Arcanis, women wear very minimal clothing since we will get naked anyway when we shift. So when you live there, you’ll see something like that every day." Laureen then hooked both her arms around Arla and Rylie’s arms pulling them back towards the castle.
"Where are we going?" Arla asked in confusion.
"We should pack up our belongings and the princess’. We will go with her to the east remember? She has enough bodyguards here, she doesn’t need us," Laureen answered.
"It is still early to pack don’t you think? We still have three months or at least one," Rylie said in confusion.
"She won’t take that long," Laureen said, still pulling the two.
"That is impossible, even the mages who were able to control their element at a young age take at least one or two months. The princess only discovered her elements just recently," Arla objected.
"I agree with Laureen. We all felt her power during the Luna ceremony. She’s not an ordinary mage, I am telling you. Some even question her paternal lineage because some werewolves believe that she’s not completely human at all. She might not know the extent of her power yet but we all believe that she’s even more powerful than Mistress Valeria," Lexi added.
Arla stopped walking and sighed, "I wish you were right. I remember a rumor circulating among the servants that they heard Prince Christopher say to the king that our princess possessed the four elements. No one can do that here in Zemaria. It was only in the legends."
*BOOM*
The four women jolted and were startled by the loud noise behind them. When they turned around they saw Kaizer on the ground coughing while Elsa was running towards him.
"I am so sorry. Are you alright?" Elsa asked Kaizer who was sitting on the ground and using his hands to disperse the smoke around him.
"I am fine princess. I was just not expecting that," Kaizer replied.
"Why did you put your defenses down? Are you underestimating me?" Elsa said in a serious and annoyed voice.
Kaizer shook both his hands, "No, no, no, Your Highness, I just didn’t think that you would get hard on me."
"I’m just kidding, Kai. This is what I am talking about when I say I don’t know how to control it. I know how to gather the power at certain parts of my body to release them but I am not good at calculating the strength of it," Elsa explained.
Kaizer stood up and brushed off the dirt that stuck on his clothes after Elsa knocked him to the ground.
"Do you feel the same way when you heal someone?" Rylie who finally reached them asked.
"No. Healing is much easier since when I see their wounds heal or feel their injury is gone, all I have to do is stop releasing my healing power. But using fire to attack someone is totally different from it," Elsa said.
"If that’s the case. Then I think controlling the element is not your problem since you can draw them at will. Allotting how much mana you will use with each spell is the issue," Arla stated.
"I guess you are right. My grandmother already explained what mana is and how it works. But she never mentioned that I need to allot a certain amount for each spell."
"Most probably because you were already good in healing that’s why she assumed you already know it, but it’s really different. Let’s go back inside. There’s a tool that students use to practice mana allocation and we can do this in the comfort of your room," Arla suggested.
Elsa nodded, "Let’s go then." All five of them went back to the castle while Kaizer, Dasher, and Baahu stayed in the training ground to train more in preparation for joining the battle.
When they reach the hallway going to Hera’s old room, Lexi and Laureen stop them, "What’s going on?" Elsa asked as the two suddenly changed their stance to defensive mode.
"There’s someone in the room. We had locked it earlier before going to the training ground. Stay here Your Highness, we–"
Laureen was not able to finish talking for Elsa burst through the door trying to catch the intruder.
"Shit!"
Elsa heard someone exclaim from the room when she opened the door. At the same time, she heard a couple of glass breaking as she watched flowers and vases fall from the round table spilling the water onto the expensive carpet on the floor.
She looked around and the whole room was filled with different kinds of flowers. "What are all these?" She asked the ’intruder’.
"Uh, my apologies?" Chris uttered, bearing a large bunch of flowers that still awaited placement in vases.
Elsa chuckled and shook her head, "Apology for what?"
"For being an incapable husband who had to leave his wife in the castle to train by herself," Chris responded while scratching the back of his neck.
"Oh, love..." Elsa approached Chris, taking the flowers from him and placing them on the table before embracing her husband. "I’m not upset with you. I’m sorry if I gave that impression. I’m frustrated with myself for feeling useless and burdensome. I completely understand why you wouldn’t want to bring me along."
"No, love, you’re neither a burden nor useless. It’s just that werewolves are faster on land. I’m just worried that they might target you. I’m sure they’ve already heard about you, and if you’re untrained and unprepared, it could lead to something terrible that I don’t even want to imagine happening to you," Chris explained.
"I understand. But don’t fret, I’ll be there by your side in no time. Arla and Rylie found a way to help me," she then turned to the ladies behind her by the door, "Right girls?"
Arla and Rylie nodded in agreement. They were both filled with excitement, realizing that the challenge posed by Elsa, previously considered difficult to overcome, was merely a matter of lacking information. Allocating mana for a spell proved to be quite straightforward, especially since their princess already grasped the most challenging aspect of spellcasting.
"Leave," Chris ordered, making everyone confounded.
"I beg your pardon, Your Highness?" Arla questioned.
"I said, leave. All of you leave now. Do not let anyone come close to this room. Go!" Chris commanded in a stern voice.
The four women hastily rose to their feet upon hearing and sensing his deep voice and alpha aura. As they exited, they securely closed the door, Arla told the guards in the hallway to not let anyone in without informing them.
Elsa furrowed her eyebrows, perplexed by the sudden shift in the atmosphere. They had been engaged in a cheerful conversation one moment, and the next, Chris appeared serious.
"Can you please explain why you did that? What just happened here?" Elsa inquired, placing her hands on her waist.
Chris approached the door and locked it. When he turned to face Elsa, a devilish grin adorned his face, an expression she knew all too well. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"What the hell Chris! You have to go to the east remember?" Elsa exclaimed as she stepped backward when Chris started moving towards her.
"I am very well aware of that, princess," he drawled and started unbuttoning his shirt as he moved closer to her.
"Then what are you doing?" Elsa questioned.
"You dared to wear something so seductively inappropriate and yet you are questioning me what am I doing? I am sure the eyes of the maniacs who saw you wearing that were glued on you. Something I cannot accept. My wolf is going wild inside me the moment I saw you and he’s urging me to mark you to show everyone you are ours.
This is the only way to stop Yakobo from taking over me to rip the eyes of those perverts! So choose princess... I am going to mark you mine or my wolf will eat the eyes of those men who were lusting over what’s mine?!"
"Are you freaking serious right now? Why would you take their eyes off? Have you lost your mind?" Elsa couldn’t believe what was happening, her husband’s wolf surely had jealousy and anger issues.
"What is your answer? If you ask me, I would rather unleash Yakobo since we just did it earlier and I don’t want to tire you out. I am not gonna ask again, choose!"
