The Princess's Dangerous Vampire Mate-Chapter 185: The letter - II
I was supposed to be resting and now I was not sure of how to exit the room without having Solomon or Bert informing Tristan about my change of plans.
Squinted my eyes slightly at the door as if I was staring at the two men that stood behind it. I could lie. The only thing to be worried about after that would be what would I do if they found out.
I walked to the door and just as I opened them Solomon straightened from leaning against the wall. "Your highness, is there something we can help you with?"
Your Highness? Why would they call me with a dignified title can I do not belong to any royal family?
I must stay on the topic. "I need to go to the library. Perhaps reading a good book and sleeping after would give me a good rest." I was thankful that sir Walter was a literary and I had an excuse to go there.
He nodded curtly, "I shall take you to The Royal library immediately."
"No, no, that is not needed," I stop him by shaking my head, "I want to go to the one that is near the healer’s hallway. It’s a bit smaller one yet I found good books there."
He did not seem pleased with the idea but Solomon decided not to comment and just let me to the healers hallway and before I knew it I was in front of the huge doors which was similar as sir Walter opened them up when Solomon knocked. His eyes darted to all of our faces.
"Sir," Sir Walter greeted as he slightly bowed his head, "what can the servant help you with?"
My heart ached when I heard him call himself servant. He was once at the most esteemed positions in the court. Perhaps life has yet to show me a lot.
"I want to read a book," I said with a small smile on my face, "would you mind if I come and take a look inside?"
Sir Walter stayed at me before he nodded. "Yes, your highness."
Sir Walter moved inside and I followed him before turning to the two men, "I’ll be out in a moment." I told them and walked inside. That was a dismissal to them to not come inside and I hope that did not because I did not hear any kind of footsteps behind me.
Just as it turned to another row a paper was shocked in my face. Sir Walter held it out and it said, ’what are you doing?’
I took the paper from him in a hurry and moved my hand gesturing for a writing pen. He nodded and moved to his own desk in a hurry where as I stood in the same row looking for a book that I could read, or at least put it would seem like.
He came back but his footsteps no longer hurried. That reminded me that they could hear what we were talking about which is why sir Walter decided on doing this.
’Spy letter Estelle’ was all I wrote and passed the piece of paper quickly towards him.
He frowned but nodded and held his hand out but sadly I did not have the letter at which is why I shook my head.
I did not have the letter ready yet.
He wrote down something on the paper and showed it to me, ’hurry then.’
I nodded, grabbed a book and walked out.
"I have it," I told the two men who were standing guard, "let us go now." Without looking at any one of them I moved pass them and this time since I remember the way I made my own way to the guestrooms assigned to me.
The door closed behind me and I directly aimed towards the writing table. The Ink and so was I. I pushed the thought of Tristan to the very back of my mind. My feelings came afterwards, I have to tell my sister that I was alive because she had written about my reply many times which meant that she was not even sure about my existence.
Estelle
I received your letter and I found it on the table of my room. I am very glad to have receive your letter and hear from you. Thankfully I am well and I would love to know about how you are fairing. . .
His name came to my mind. Something at the back of my mind which had his name slowly. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Here I stopped. What was a supposed to write next? For her to come and rescue me? I placed the pen down.
But how could I ask her to rescue me while the prince was still down there? I could not forget that he had arrived to the north to save me even though he knew that it was extremely difficult for someone to enter the country without the king’s permission and he risked himself.
I licked my lip as I stood up and walked around the room as my mind ran wild with the thoughts. I could get out of the kingdom if I wrote to estelle but should I am not Lysar?
I have already met him twice and I knew that I had let a fire of hope inside his mind if I left without helping him escape from the jail my mind would not be at peace knowing that he was still there.
I folded the letter that I was writing to estelle and buried it deep underneath my mattress.
Before helping the prince I have to make sure that I did not have the Guards over my head. I had been lucky that while I would usually be asleep Solomon and Bert were not there. Now I was not sure if I would be lucky enough.
This was something I would pick up with Tristan and the perfect reason came to my mind.
After all, out of all why was I getting gaurds that were his friends?
