The Princess's Dangerous Vampire Mate-Chapter 111: A Princess on the run - II
I jumped and whimpered out loudly when the once again pushed the door with all their might making the door rattle loudly.
"Oh my," I held my face in my hands, trying to calm myself thinking that everything was going to be alright when I knew what was at that door.
I couldn’t stop shaking my hands. My heart might stop, I could feel. It was too much to hear I gulped and looked at her. Marilyn had tears in her eyes when she realised that this was its right of life placed on me by my father and then the kingdom that I had married into. Her grip on me seemingly got tighter as she did not want me to let go.
"You cannot fight them." I shook my head and told her the truth. There was no hope left for us.
"I can." She vowed, her lips trembling, "I can fight. I-I could kill them if you want!"
I giggled at that but ended up jumping at the last push. " They are going to to break it down soon."
" There is no exit from hair. The only way to know is through that door." She whispered to me, crying out in helplessness.
"My Mistress!"
I frowned, Were my ears ringing? I looked at Merylin who had also turned to look at me.
"Who—"
"Mistress!"
I knew by the expression on her face that we have both had it and I immediately turned around. Behind me stood the man that I had left in Lethoris.
"Diwal?" I spoke out in shock.
He nodded and gestured to us to get up. He had opened some kind of door in a wall. It was a secret door!
"Hurry!" He whispered harshly, "they would end up breaking at any moment now!"
One more push came to the door and it almost fell out.
Seeing that Marilyn immediately went into action. She hurriedly stood up and watching her I try to do as well but my huge wedding dress made me stumble on the ground. The forces were growing stronger and the door rattled even louder. She held me up and dragged Me halfway to the door. I almost cried out in pain when I was pushed inside and fell down.
The door rattled loudly once more before it fell down completely and Diwal closed The secret door just in time before the door fell down.
All of us and we’ll log in heavy silence and complete darkness as we heard the footsteps about into the room for stop multiple footsteps of gods and from what I could hear my father and the queen had also joined them.
"Where is she! The whore!" The queen swore loudly and my heart ached when my father did not stand up even behind my back. "Find her!" She shrieked at the top of her voice.
I covered my mouth to not let my cries echo to them. How was it that within moments they had believed man over my words? Even though he was not lying that he had found me in a brothel and bought me, I would have been their top priority to consider when I said no.
I heard a small sizzle before light scattered all around us. Diwal had lit a torch and just us to stay quiet by placing a finger on his lips.
I gulped at the site and tried to control my emotions and rain then into one direction. I was still sprawled over the ground and Marion tried to pick me up but the ground was heavier for one to deal with.
"Tear it." He mouthed and I looked at the dagger he provided us with.
Merilyn looked at it. Tearing a wedding gown was not only a fool’s desire but also something very honest to do for a bride on her wedding day.
"Do it." I nodded. This day was wretched as it is and I would be glad to get back at it. Within moments, she ripped it apart as if angry at herself and soared in the voice. It made me happy.
Unable to control my emotions now turning into rage, I with my hands store bought the dresses while leaving me nothing in a but in a thin gown, perhaps what someone would wear in night.
Bits and pieces of torn clothes now le around me along with the wale. I had at one point taking it off of my head and the ground has fallen. I paid no attention to the wretched thing and continued to tear the well apart as well.
Now we laid there with bits and pieces of torn clothes heaving heavily as he looked down at it all. A self satisfaction to some extent but the betrayal I feel tonight when no one was ready to believe me including my own husband and my father was still winning.
"Come on," she said, but so did I, this time much easily as there was no longer the weight of several layers of clothes and silk over me. The crown was still on the ground and I wanted to smash it on the my first but I did not. I would not give them the pleasure rather I picked it up and with the dagger carved out the most biggest diamond in size and took it with me.
"Diwal," I turned to look at the boy who look like a happy puppy when he has seen me talking to him, "how did you—’
We heard something. Some kind of . . .churning behind the wall.
I gasped. "Is that—"
"Run!" He hissed and all of a stone forward and ran. Diwal made sure to raise up the torch so that we all could see where we were going.
My legs ached as I ran through the endless hallway but I remembered that this might be my only chance to run which is why I did not stop.
"Now what?" Merylin looked at the door in front of us and turned to Diwal. "What is behind that door?"
"Kitchen door." He said and opened it. Every one of the staff was busy with their own tasks but as soon as all three stepped into started staring at us. Before anything else could happen and one of them could therefore the girls all of a sudden towards the exit in a hurry. I was not doing today. God is great.
"There they are!" I heard and quickened my pace. "catch them all!"
Pounding of footsteps were heard and I knew that we did not have much time before they would eventually cover the ground and catch up with us.
"Stop, go there," she pointed direction where the award was going and headed to the opposite one.
"Merylin?" I immediately held her hand and try to drag along. What was this stupid girl doing!
"Go!" She snapped and she pushed me as the men came closer. "They are behind you not me. Now go!"
I was in no mood to run but thinking the opposite of it held my hand and had dragged near the stock when I saw by a quick glance that Marilyn had reached quite far, I shook it off and ran.
"There!" I heard right behind me and almost sobbed.
"Go, I’ll fight!" Diwal pushed me forward and let go of my hand. I stopped for a moment and saw him hitting the soldier with the torch that he held.
I could see him fight them and I ran forward without thinking twice. Only to find one of them overtaking Diwal and one coming behind me.
No, no, no, no, I chanted in my mind as my legs ached from the constant running. Any moment I I thought that my legs would fall off and I would temple to the ground and that men would catch me.
"Ah!" A scream ripped from my throat as I felt something pierced into my shoulder. My legs caved in at the horrifying pain and I fell on the wet ground.
"Ahh . ." I moan left at the pain and I Ludo over to find a small knife embedded in my shoulder from behind. The guard must have thrown it.
He was nearing me and he had picked up speed which only prompted me further to stand up and at least try to run.
I turned to look forward and tried to stand up placing some pressure on my shoulder which immediately made me cry out in pain. I felt a hand clamp down at my ankle and my eyes widened at the possibility and before I knew it I was dragged into a small alley perfect to fit one person.
My screams were offered by the strong hand placed on my mouth. No matter how much I dug my nails in his wrist he did not let go.
A hand muffled my cries and I saw the guards run past. Was this person not giving me away?
I looked up to see a familiar sight, alamot taking my breath away as I blinked at him. He wanted to save me?
"Find her! I saw her there!" A soldier yelled and sobbed at being found out.
I briefly glanced up before my legs were out and I lost consciousness.
It was. . .
