The Primordial Record-Chapter 2147: The Bloodline of Black Zenith
The intelligence of Eos was accumulative and extremely perfect, and that meant that in the instant he understood the first layer of a problem, all the other associative problems that involved that layer became easier to understand.
It was as if he had learnt a single language; the process of learning that language alone was enough to push his understanding of every other language up to the halfway mark.
In this manner he was making ridiculous progress, and this was the true reason the truth had been hidden from him for so long, but his enemies were too many, and in wars, even in immortal wars like this, the fog of war still applied, and this gap in information had caused the Incarnations of Eos to begin breaking the boundaries of Existence.
Primordial Beast, one of Eos’s incarnations and the personification of the Origin of beasts, was on the outer edge of the ascending Primordials when he stumbled and fell to his knees.
Slowly turning his head in surprise, Primordial Beast transformed into dust.
From the dust of his body, a formless presence arose, and it screamed before vanishing.
The Incarnation did not mourn the loss of their brother, even in death; he had given them enough information before he fell.
What killed him was called the Whispers of the Apex. This was the representation of the power of the Luminious. While Primordials and other lifeforms inside of Existence had access to the power of Origin, the Luminious had something else... It was called Lumina and Abhimha.
Before now, Eos had a limited understanding of this power beyond their names, and the only hint they had of their power was related to the unique bloodline they had gained from Enoch, called the Bloodline of Black Zenith.
Without reaching the ninth-dimensional level, it was hard for Eos to decipher the power of this bloodline, but he had been slowly chipping away at it as time went by, and then discovered some of the capabilities of the Luminious hidden in their bloodline.
The first thing he understood about the Luminious was that their names and their appearances were a lie.
They were beautiful and illuminating, but their core was anything but that.
The Luminious Bloodline had a mysterious description in the Primordial Record. It said: You are no longer a being, you are a living blasphemy, a warp-spawned anomaly that gnaws at the edges of Existence. Your blood is a gateway, your voice is a cosmic suicide note, and your mind is a hive of dead divinities whispering in the dark.
Over time, Eos had begun to understand what this passage meant after staring at it for millions of years, and not until he knew of the presence of the Painter that everything fit together.
This passage had always confused him when he read the words, an anomaly that gnawed at the edge of Existence.
At that time, Eos had not even understood what Existence fully meant, and he had thought that Enoch was the final obstacle and the root of all evil that plagued Existence.
Yet this passage had been telling him something much deeper.
Eos now knew about End, and the Painter, and this passage tied everything together.
The bloodline of Black Zenith was the core of the Luminious Bloodline, and it was purely the power of End.
However, nothing could truly withstand this bloodline, and it had to be balanced by Lumina and Anhimha, or maybe something else as well.
Eos had not yet figured out what could have given the Luminious the power to hold this bloodline, because from his calculations, this power should rot them from the inside in less than a century.
However, at the moment, what was important here was the abilities the Luminious was able to gain by having this bloodline.
And Eos believed that while the Luminious were stuck at the fourth layer of the concept that they had mastered, they were not powering their concept with Origin Essence but Lumina and the ridiculous power of their bloodline that was End incarnate.
The death of Primordial Beast had finally confirmed the theory that Eos had made millions of years ago.
Primordial Beast had died when all of his motion, intent, Will and life force had been silenced. To silence the Incarnation of Eos, then using the power of End, a price must be paid, and that formless presence was the price paid by Luminious Silence, although at this point, it was unknown if this price was debilitating or something that was effortless for him.
With this knowledge, every Incarnation here knew that the only way forward would be through this danger.
They could not fight this formless presence, not until they got to the source; they could only try as much to resist, and if that failed, to occupy this power for as long as possible, giving the others the chance to move ahead.
If these Incanations had not been connected and were essentially a single being, then even with all the information they had, there would have been delays in the decision making process, however, they were united in will and body and they immediately began moving ahead, and this time they did not hold back... all of them began burning their Origin to gain greater speed.
This move must have surprised and alarmed Luminious Silence as the attacks on the Incarnation suddenly increased, and the climb became one of sheer attrition.
In less than a minute, two hundred Incantions were dead, shattered into prismatic dust that reflected the infinity of this tower.
The climb ahead seemed infinite, and yet, every passing minute, an Incarnation would stop and then slowly sit cross-legged and battle the force of Silence, powered by the power of Lumina inside their bodies for as long as they could.
They knew they could not win, but every second they bought was a victory, and it also meant that they were understanding the power of Luminious Silence as well, because the Incarnations were taking longer and longer to die, and Luminious Silence only seemed to be capable of killing only three of them at a time.
However, what Luminious Silence could not have known was that the pressure he was giving to these Incarnations was unprecedented, and as time passed, the number of Incarnations that had seen the fifth layer of their Origin had reached one hundred!
