Seeing that Ruan Jiaojiao was tempted, Duan Xi didn’t stop them but got up to go to the trunk, pulling out a pair of black leather high-top snow boots, a beige cashmere scarf, and a red beret.
Ruan Jiaojiao took the hat and scarf, using a small mirror from the car to put them on. Duan Xi bent down, removed the short cotton boots from her feet, and gently put on the newly brought high-top snow boots, his movements careful and tender.
