The Heaven-Cursed Costs Life, But I Have Infinite Life-Chapter 47: Leaving at Midnight, Passion in the Cave
Cloudrest was much like Blackspire; the city wasn’t particularly bustling or wealthy.
After a long day of travel, Allen and Lilia didn’t need sleep themselves, but their horses did. They stopped at a hotel that looked clean and decent enough.
"Allen."
Lilia tugged on his arm, pointing toward a dark corner with a worried look.
Theron was sitting at a table, cross-legged and serene. In front of him sat a tiny dish of boiled vegetables.
"Should we switch hotels?" Lilia asked anxiously.
"No need," Allen said, shaking his head. He figured meeting him here was just a coincidence, and the bet wouldn’t start until they actually left Cloudrest.
Theron seemed to ignore them completely, slowly chewing on his plain, tasteless vegetables.
Allen sighed. This Church of Light Ascetic was truly unique. He just couldn’t understand the point of such a miserable, ascetic life.
"Waiter, two of your best rooms!" Allen walked up to the counter. He pulled a handful of gold coins from his pocket, counted nothing, and tossed the pile onto the counter.
The waiter’s eyes lit up instantly. He flashed a welcoming smile. "Right away, honored guests! The second floor, please."
"And prepare a feast of fine wine and meat for us," Allen paused, then pointed toward Theron’s corner. "Also, send a full table of food and wine to that guest. Put it on my tab."
The waiter hesitated, looking confused. "Sir, that gentleman is a Church of Light Ascetic. He doesn’t eat meat or drink alcohol."
"Just do as I say. You won’t lose your cut of the wine money," Allen said, radiating confidence. He glanced at Theron in the corner, who remained completely silent and unresponsive.
The waiter nodded awkwardly and said no more, simply leading the pair upstairs.
Only then did Theron glance at the staircase where they had disappeared. He reached into his robe, pulled out a few copper coins, placed them on the table, stood up, and walked away.
"Allen, that guy is gone," Lilia said from the window on the second floor, watching Theron leave.
"Ignore him. Let’s eat," Allen dismissed the concern. He was starving after looking at the feast on the table.
Lilia stopped worrying about it and joined Allen in devouring the food.
"We need to leave early tomorrow, so let’s get some rest."
Allen told the waiter to clear the table and then ushered Lilia out of the room.
"Hmph, ungrateful!"
Lilia stood in the doorway, waving her small fist angrily before stomping off to her own room.
...
Deep into the night, the streets were quiet.
A knock came at Lilia’s door.
"Who is it?" Her voice was sleepy and muffled from inside.
"Open up, it’s me," Allen whispered lowly.
The door opened quickly. Lilia stood there in thin sleepwear, which gave off a hazy, alluring beauty.
"What’s wrong? So late?" Lilia asked, looking alert and covering her chest with her hands.
"What do you think? Put on your night clothes. We’re leaving the city now before that old man catches us," Allen decided to take them by surprise.
Lilia shot him a glare, clearly unhappy.
She had thought this idiot might finally come to his senses.
"Wait here!" She slammed the door shut with a heavy thud.
Allen just shook his head. Does this spoiled rich girl really have that much sleepiness?
He glanced at the sky outside and waited quietly.
Soon, the door opened again. Lilia was now dressed in her night gear, her bright red hair hidden. But this time, she didn’t disguise herself as a boy.
"Let’s leave without the horses and head for Stormcrest," Allen said, catching Lilia who was trying to walk toward the stables.
"Stormcrest? Shouldn’t we be heading to Ironridge?" Lilia asked, confused.
Their destination was the Chaos Zone to the west, but Stormcrest lay to the northwest. Going there would require a huge detour.
"That old man knows where we’re going. He’ll probably be waiting on the road to Ironridge, so we’ll go the opposite way," Allen explained.
"Fine," Lilia muttered, thinking he was being overconfident, but she didn’t stop him.
Under the cover of darkness, they slipped silently over the walls and left Cloudrest behind.
At night, the dense forests outside were full of powerful monsters, so few adventurers dared to stay in the wilds.
But for Allen, nothing here was dangerous.
They moved quickly through the thick trees. Lilia looked pale; her injuries hadn’t fully healed yet. Between the long day of travel and the lack of sleep, she was struggling to keep up.
"There’s a cave up ahead. Let’s rest," Allen said, pointing it out.
Since they had left Cloudrest without a sound and traveled deep into the woods, Theron couldn’t possibly catch up to them.
Inside the cave, a Tusked Wild Boar was napping. Allen took it down easily.
Once a campfire was lit, Lilia pulled back her hood. The flickering flames made her small face look rosy and warm.
She looked at Allen, licked her lips, and said softly, "Um, Allen, I’m kind of hungry."
"If you want my blood, just say so," Allen said, glaring at her in annoyance.
These past few times when Lilia was hurt, she had healed by drinking his blood. He was used to it by now and no longer fought it like before.
"Come on then," he said.
Allen sat beside Lilia and held out his arm.
"Um, can we try somewhere else this time?"
Lilia stared at the pulse jumping in Allen’s neck, her mouth watering.
"Hey, don’t push it!"
Allen suddenly became alert. He remembered the first time she drank his blood and nearly killed him.
"Just one bite, I promise!" Lilia held up a slender finger, looking very serious.
Allen hesitated for a moment but finally nodded. "Okay, but only one bite."
Lilia immediately pounced on him.
Allen was hit with a soft, sweet scent. Then, a tingling sensation spread across his neck. He felt extremely uncomfortable and had to force himself not to push her away.
"Didn’t you say you wanted to drink blood? Why are you licking me?" he asked.
"Hmph!"
Lilia let out an angry snort. Two sharp fangs appeared at the corners of her mouth, and she bit down hard on his vein.
Bright red blood began to flow.
Lilia greedily drank, the scorching blood filling her stomach. She looked utterly content, feeling an immense sense of relief wash over her body.
"Hey, that’s enough. You said only one bite," Allen said, realizing she had no intention of stopping. He raised his hand to push her away.
Suddenly, a surge of strength pulled him down, and Allen was thrown to the ground.
Her vibrant red hair fanned out across his cheek. That intoxicating, sweet fragrance filled his nose, pulling him deeper into a trance.
He felt her neck growing damp, the tingling sensation sending electric shocks through his body.
Lilia wasn’t drinking his blood anymore; instead, she was passionately kissing his neck.
Allen’s eyes widened. He swallowed hard, feeling a fire burning in his chest.
Is this girl really this bold?
Lilia tilted her head back slightly, leaning close to Allen. Her eyes were hazy with desire, her face flushed red, and her chest rose and fell rapidly.
The campfire crackled, mirroring the flames rising between them.
Allen could no longer hold back. He lifted Lilia’s pretty face and pressed his lips firmly against hers.
"Mm..."
Lilia let out a soft moan, closed her eyes, and clumsily, yet eagerly, responded.
Allen felt her lips were cool and carried a faint sweetness, which he greedily sucked on.
But soon, he wasn’t satisfied with just that. He gently parted her teeth with his tongue.
Lilia’s body trembled slightly. She responded with passion, the two of them entangled tightly.
Clothes were shed layer by layer until they were both completely naked.
After a long while, they finally broke apart, breathing heavily.
Lilia lay on top of Allen, staring at him with an obsessed gaze. She swallowed hard and whispered, "Allen, do you like me?"
"What do you think?"
Allen replied roughly.
He pulled her into a tight embrace, rolled over, and pinned her beneath him.
Lilia gasped, her body stiffening. She closed her eyes, filled with both nervousness and anticipation.
Looking at her dripping beauty, Allen greedily kissed her cheek. His hands wandered over her snow-white, smooth skin, slowly pushing her legs apart.
"Mm... Allen, I... I’m a little scared," Lilia murmured. She felt the heat and hardness between her legs, her body going numb, while fear and anxiety gripped her heart.
Allen wasn’t in a rush. He kissed her perfect body, slowly breaking down her psychological defenses, bit by bit.
Lilia’s tense body slowly relaxed. She responded with passion, her lower body soaked with wetness. She wrapped her arms around Allen’s neck, twisting her small body gently as she matched his rhythm.
Allen felt an intense pressure building up, a fire in his belly that needed to be unleashed. He could no longer hold back. Lifting Lilia’s curvy hips, he pushed himself forward slowly.
"Ahh!"
Lilia cried out in pain, her limbs wrapping tightly around Allen. Tears streamed down from her tightly shut eyes.
The tearing pain in her lower body was worse than when her wings had been severed.
But soon, the pain subsided, replaced by a strange, intense pleasure.
Her body stopped stiffening. She lifted her hips to meet him, leaning forward to press her lips against his, her tongue tangling deeply with his.
You truly are a succubus!
Allen thought, his fire burning even brighter.
He thrust harder, his movements becoming powerful.
Lilia’s cries of pain in the cave soon turned into soft moans.
The two of them were tightly entwined, filled with desire.
Lilia wrapped her arms and legs around Allen like an octopus. Her small body trembled under his assault. The strange sensations rising from below stimulated every nerve in her body.
This feeling was even better than drinking Allen’s blood.
She soon lost all control. Moans and cries echoed through the cave. Mixed with the sharp sting below was an indescribable bliss that left her unable to stop.
"Allen... I... I can’t take it..."
Lilia let out a cry, suddenly tightening her grip on Allen with all her limbs. Her body shivered uncontrollably, as if trying to merge with him.
Suddenly, she felt a surge of scorching energy rush into her from below. A wave of overwhelming, indescribable pleasure flooded her entire body. Immediately, her head spun, and all her strength seemed to be drained away.
Lilia collapsed onto the ground, her mouth open as she panted heavily. Her small body continued to tremble involuntarily.
Allen also felt a wave of exhaustion, his heart filled with satisfaction. His Art of Immortality flowed rapidly through his body.
Holding his soft and delicate beauty close, he soon fell into a deep sleep.
