He took Mo Jiaolan’s hand, and the two followed the policeman through the main gate, and after a turn, they arrived at the duty room of the gatekeeper.
The room was small and empty, furnished with only a single bed.
The burly policeman laid Lin Xue on the bed, then turned to Ling Feng, "Quick, check on her. If she has internal injuries, I’ll arrange for a car to take her to the hospital immediately!"

Ling Feng said casually and stepped forward to take Lin Xue’s pulse. He found she had merely been shaken by the violent impact, causing a brief faint.

Looking around in confusion, she struggled to sit up and asked, "Where am I?"

Mo Jiaolan nestled in obediently, wrapping her arms around his waist and letting out a gentle sigh, "Thank you for today!"
"Your eyes have said it many times already!" Ling Feng chuckled, his hand caressing her back, "But just saying thanks won’t do. I need some concrete actions!"
Mo Jiaolan’s face turned red, and she pouted slightly, "I gave you a chance before, but you didn’t take it!"
"That was before. From now on, that won’t happen. Tonight, the two of us...?"
Ling Feng whispered into Mo Jiaolan’s ear, asking softly.
With her cheeks flushed, Mo Jiaolan glanced up at him, "Tonight? Better not dream about it, remember there are five girls in the hotel all keeping an eye on you!"

Hearing this, Lin Xue immediately replied, "No, you can’t leave. Push back whatever you have at home!"
