"Ah fuck, you’ve got to be kidding me." The Leviathan was stunned shitless.
The moment the Leviathan laid eyes on Violet.
He knew.
He knew what had awoken.
He knew what was coming.
He knew what was back.
Ezelreth, the DarkChild.
And he knew they were all so fucked.
And now part of him regretted coming.
The Leviathan held in a chuckle. The irony of this.
Lilith doesn’t even know who is sitting right across from her.
She doesn’t even recognize his darkness surrounding and devouring Violet’s mind, body and soul.
None of these people knew. These people had no idea who or what was sitting in this room with them.
The son of Cerberus the God of Darkness and Death. The first energy vampire.
He was back, and he wanted vengeance.
But if he was back, that could only mean one thing.
So was the MoonChild. The Daughter of Artemis the Goddess of the Moon and Hunt.
Where the hell were they going to find her?
Fuck. He should take Lilith back to his dimension and say ’fuck this’.
"You little son of a bitch" Violet growled with a voice deep and primal echoing under her.
The voice made everyone flinch. They looked between Violet and the Leviathan with confusion and fear.
Even Ash felt unsettled by the charged wrath flooding the air in this tent. It was as if a silent war they knew nothing about was being fought between two people right in front of them. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Ash couldn’t understand why his wife was acting like a rabid animal. She’s had a meant streak and maybe a little crazy lately, but this was entirely different.
He entered this tent as an ally and yet Violet looked like she would eat his heart while it was still beating inside his chest.
Her entire scent was gone, and something that smelled like sulfur and decay now filled the room. Her smell not tainted but taken over completely.
What happened next blew everyone’s mind.
Violet’s eyes changed, the dragon slits that Ash saw, were now back. And her fangs had grown to be longer than theirs. He claws were too long, and they dripped in a black liquid he couldn’t name.
Violet had launched herself from her seat at the other end, basically flying at the Levithan. Her mouth gaping and a dragon like roar ripped from her throat.
"How dare you, how dare a filthy monster like you touch what is mine." Violet growled. Everyone was confused about they were talking about.
’Why was Violet acting out and being possessive over Lilith like she was the only thing that mattered.’ These were the kind of questions running through everyone’s mind.
Everyone else was frozen in their seats, eyes wide, their jaws slacked as they all watched the scene unfold.
The Leviathans eyes snapped open and quickly dodged Violet’s attack.
But Violet was ready for the second attack. Using the moment she already had, she grabbed hold of one of the wooden pillars holding up the tent and swung her body around it, throwing a kick right at him.
He dodged her again, but this time he grabbed her foot and used her own moment against her, swinging her around she hit the other wooden pillar cracking it.
Violet moaned as blood spitting from her mouth on impact.
Violet picked herself back up, wiped the blood from her mouth.
She looked at him with a deranged look in her eyes, like she was second from unleashing the demon she could feel stirring inside her. And she lunged again, this time, with her claws first. Her claws fully extended now and still dripping the thick black liquid from them.
However, the Leviathan was much older than the DarkChild, much more experienced in the art of combat, and knew very well how to use his abilities to his strength in combat.
He had cultivated for thousands of years. As one of the first beings to exit in the world the gods created. One of their first creations, he possessed small amounts of all the gods’ powers.
He wasn’t invincible, but killing him would be no easy feat, even for a dark being like the DarkChild.
Violet moved with unrelenting speed. Her moves were quick and precise.
But the Leviathan dodged each and every attack Violet threw at him with ease.
He realized now, Ezelreth wasn’t at full strength. There was still time to neutralize him and find the MoonChild. Because only a god can bind another god.
He could see Violet was wearing down now. Her body drained of energy, slowing down her movements making her strikes sluggish and inaccurate.
When she came at him again, he decided enough was enough. He opened his arms wide and slammed them together sending a brutal hard wave of wind right into Violet, sending her back into the pillar again, this time breaking it in half. The tent began to capsize. But Violet, now drained of energy was weak, she knew she needed to get away, and feed so she could heal. She could feel the break in a few of her ribs from the impact with the pillars at such brute force.
She wiped the blood from her mouth and took off running, leaving everyone behind.
She knew exactly where to go and with feeding, she’d make more of those monsters.
She would start her army now. She felt the sting of betrayal when she replayed the smell on Lilith, she didn’t quite understand why everything inside her was screaming to be let out, screaming to punish that thing.
She would restore her energy, gain more power and go after that monster again.
She couldn’t get over how angry and hurt she felt inside. Everything twisted and felt tainted and broken.
Her world had felt shattered in that moment.
But she’d figure that out later. For now, she needed to feed.
