The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife-Chapter 251: Breaking News.
Just as Raymond was about to reply him, the news from the TV drifted into his ears, causing him to turn to the screen.
"Breaking News...At exactly 9:47 am this morning, a fire broke out at the station headquarters of the..."
After spotting that familiar police station where he had left Cyprian and Esther earlier this morning, Raymond didn’t need to hear the rest of the news before dashing out of the house.
"I’ll be back!" he threw Ethan a quick pat on the shoulder, causing the latter to look at him strangely.
"What’s with him?" Ethan questioned.
"Shit!" Was the reply he got from Enoch, who just realized the reason why Raymond had rushed out. Sharing a knowing look with Ruthlyn, the both of them turned to Ethan.
"We need to go, Big brother. See you later and... don’t look for us," Enoch added, hurrying out the door with Ruthlyn following him.
Without caring about what had made all three of them run from him in that manner, Ethan walked to the table and picked up the remote to switch off the TV. Running his hand through his hair, he walked straight to the kitchen.

Shikera’s brows were creased in confusion. Even after Cyprian’s detailed explanation on what had been happening since she left home, Shikera could not help but feel confused.
"You mean Ethan left home to meet the Jordans? Alone?!" she asked.
Cyprian nodded, "I was kind of worried when I heard he was leaving too, but Raymond said he would be alright."
"I... I’ll let that be since there’s nothing I can do anyways. But what do you mean Team leader Zuresh said that woman isn’t Natalia Anderson? If she is really Natasha, then what’s next? What does she gain from all this? And...what do we all get from stopping her?"
Cyprian frowned, raising her brows.
"We definitely don’t know what she gains from this. But we do get you back with your confidence if we can stop her. I know you, Kera, and I want to have you back as my bubbly and confident friend when you come back," she stated confidently.
"Thanks for that, Cyprian. But being Liam Anderson’s real daughter at this stage will only push me away from you guys the more. Then, it would be bad for Ethan and the DeLoach’s," Shikera disagreed.
"How? I’m very sure even Chairman DeLoach would be forced to take you back even if he doesn’t want to. Not because your identity has been confirmed, but because of Ethan." Cyprian was confused and she was not in any way getting what Shikera meant by her words.
"You won’t understand, Rian. Let’s just—"
The sound of a phone ringing interrupted Shikera as everyone of them reached for the phones to check whose it is. It was Cyprian’s.
"Why is he calling?" she wondered our loud, but instead of picking the phone, she switched it off.
"I think they might have been searching for you already. Let’s exchange numbers and meet later," Shikera suggested, reaching for Cyprian’s phone.
"Meet later? Are you sure you won’t leave, Kera? If you try to, I’ll tell Ethan everything you told me today and make sure he finds you!" Cyprian threatened.
Shikera laughed out loud,"How the hell do you want to find Ethan and tell him that? You said just now that he isn’t home."
"Still, Raymond is just as capable. If I can’t get him, there’s also Ruth and Enoch," Cyprian insisted. She stuck out her tongue childishly as if to mock Shikera, before her gaze strayed on to Mignon who was busy discussing with Alan and Esther. The three were so absorbed in their own world making Cyprian a hundred percent sure that none of the discussion she and Shikera just had, was heard by them.
"So," she whispered, "MD won’t come back to her family?"
Shikera shook her head, "That’s not for me to answer. I’m just happy I can finally get over the guilt that sank my heart ever since I saw her. How’s work?" Shikera smiled, changing the topic of discussion abruptly.
"I took my leave but it’ll be over in two days—"
Ring Ring....Ring Ring...Ring Ring...
"Why is he calling me? You think he found out that I left the police station?" Cyprian questioned, staring down at the screen of her phone where the caller’s ID displayed was Raymond’s.
"There’s a very big chance of that. Why don’t we say our goodbyes here?" Shikera smiled, pulling her friend into a hug. "I’ll call you," she whispered.
"I’ll miss you," Cyprian whispered back, withdrawing from the hug as she rose to her feet.
"Me too."
They had a hard time separating Esther from Mignon who also didn’t want to let her go, but had to think of the consequences of what her action would cause before letting her sweet princess leave with Cyprian. However, the little girl was convinced with the talk that her mum was still on vacation and had only come to see her secretly, without the knowledge of her daddy or anyone else.
"Can I come and see you tomorrow, Mummy and Mummy?" Esther asked, her gaze alternating from Shikera to Mignon.
"No, you can’t, Esther. Rian will bring you here whenever she’s coming but do not tell anyone about us, alright? No matter who it is," Shikera warned lightly.
"Alright mummy, I will be a good girl with my lips shut and wait until you come back home," Esther promised.

Cyprian alighted from the taxi together with Esther, her phone in one hand as she dialled Raymond’s number. He had been calling her relentlessly when she was still at the cafe with Shikera, so she expected him to pick up her call immediately, but he didn’t.
"Wow! It’s on fire," Esther screamed in shock, causing Cyprian to raise her head up and see the police station building which was engulfed in fire.
"When did this happen?" Cyprian asked in shock, her question directed at no one in particular. She could see some policemen in uniform standing outside the station, but wasn’t able to spot Callum amidst them.
Hurrying over to the nearest person to her while still holding onto Esther, she asked, "Excuse me please, what floor exactly did the fire break out?"
"Second," the man replied without looking at her.
Cyprian’s eyes only widened the more, for Callum’s office was on the second floor too.
"I’m so sorry, Officer, but Callum—Do you know if Officer Leigh was on that floor when the fire broke out?" she asked again.
The man turned and nodded, "Yeah, he was. Officer Leigh was actually the one who discovered the fire and went to alert the others. Shit! I hope the firefighters can get to him early enough."
"What?? He’s still in there?!" Cyprian exclaimed.
"Unfortunately yes," the man replied.
Breathing heavily, Cyprian’s eyes pierced the crowd to see if there was anyone she found familiar. Surely, there would be reporters from Preston TV here so—
"Skyler!" Cyprian yelled, a relieved smile breaking out on her lips when the person she was calling, turned back to face her.
"Over here, Skyler!" she repeated and waited until Skyler got nearer to her.
"Here, Sky. Let this girl stay with you until I’m back. You didn’t come for work, right?"
Even though Cyprian had asked the question, she didn’t bother waiting for a reply as she dashed towards the station entrance.
"What’s this? She doesn’t even want to know what I came for," Skyler muttered beneath her breath. She looked down at Esther and smiled, "Let’s find somewhere quieter than here, shall we?"
As Skyler led Esther away, a few metres away from where the both had been standing, a car zoomed into the station’s premises. Before he could park properly, he had alighted from the car and slammed the door shut, running straight to the nearest person in uniform that he could find.
"Excuse me, where is Callum? Officer Callum Leigh," he asked.
"Officer Leigh? He’s in there, I think."
"And by chance, do you think a lady and a child are with him in there?"
"Yes..."
Raymond dashed off before the man could finish speaking,
"...the commissioner’s wife and child visited today and he was asked to act as their guide."
Everyone watched as a ’crazy man’ wearing only pyjamas weaved through the crowd without regard for anyone in it, until he got to the front. With speed that was hard for them to fathom, he ran towards the entrance of the station but was held back by two of the firefighters.
"You should go back, Sir. It’s not safe in there," one of them stated.
"Fuck off! I can get in there if you can’t," Raymond flung their hands off himself, a menacing gaze in his eyes.
"Bu—But we are wearing protective clothing—" One of them stuttered, trying to argue against Raymond who he was beginning to sense was not an ordinary man.
"Then take it off for me! Damnit, if anything goes wrong in there, you two would pay for it..."
He felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to see another firefighter,
"Excuse me, Sir, but you shouldn’t do this here. It’s useless since there’s no living person in there."
