The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife-Chapter 111: Natalia Anderson
Shikera’s eyes opened at the first sound of the trumpet which was always used to wake them up. Like the routine exercise every morning and the general open air breakfast and dinner everyday, this wake up call was just another thing that reminded them they were actually on a trip supervised by soldiers. Having spent five days in this place, Shikera was already used to it.
She roused herself from the bed and slipping her legs into her boots, she picked up her bucket and walked out of the tent to go to the makeshift bathroom. Though she always used the one for the soldiers and not the one for students, Shikera still liked to take her bath as early as possible when everyone was asleep and the campground was quiet without any of those students looking for their boots, or bag, or makeup kit. Those kids surely brought everything they had, on this trip.
The campground was deserted and quiet and Shikera knew she had just ten minutes before the trumpet would sound again and wake more students up. She hurried to the bathroom and soon, she emerged in different clothes and a refreshed face.
Her hair was binded up in a ponytail as she didn’t like the way it always swayed along with the wind.
"You’re done bathing?"
Without seeing the person who was talking, Shikera already recognized the voice to be her brother’s.
"Were you watching me?" She asked, turning to see him approaching her with a trumpet in hand.
"I wasn’t," Noah shook his head, "But I was hoping to see you nonetheless. Wanted to inform you that I will be traveling with you to the city in eight days so inform your husband as soon as you can. I can’t let my sister live in a place which I don’t even know."
"Noah..."
He cut her off, knowing he wouldn’t be able to win against her if she decided to argue.
"Is Ethan’s face more important that Noah’s peace of mind, Kera?" he asked. "Will you rather protect your husband’s face than let me worry until whenever I see you next?"
"Noah, it’s actually a condition in the contract too. I can’t let anyone know the house without letting seeking Ethan’s permission first, and he’s going to disagree anyway so why bother to ask him," Shikera sighed. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
"Don’t tell me that. From what I’ve been able to see about you two, your late night calls and all, I know your have defied more than one of the contract conditions. Anyway, I won’t give way this time so don’t stress yourself trying to convince me."
With that said, he walked away from Kera and blew the trumpet in his hand.
"Out Deltas, out!"

"Come in."
Liam Anderson listened to the footsteps of the person coming into his room, and when the person was close enough, he asked, "Did you catch the person snooping around for information?"
"No Sir," came the reply.
"Then what did you find?"
"I checked if the trails were like that of Sir Ethan or that of Young Master Noah but it wasn’t like that. Instead it was kind of sloppy, and if I am allowed to guess I can say it’s the Young Miss."
Liam frowned, and this time he turned to face the man who was behind him.
"There’s no reason why Shikera would want to know where I am. She doesn’t know I’m sick yet, and she still thinks I’m on vacation! Check your facts well before speaking," he stated.
"Yes Sir!"
"How about the second matter I asked you to make findings on? Did you find her?"
"That too, Sir. I was not able to get any news on the Madam after she appeared here 25 years ago."
Letting out a loud and heavy sigh, Liam waved his hand for the assistant to excuse himself. As soon as the door closed after the man, he walked towards the bed and sat on it, worry etching his forehead.
Thinking back to the information he heard just some minutes back, he picked up his phone and dialled Noah’s number. He didn’t know if the call would go through or not but he just had to try.
"Dad?"
Liam’s eyes widened when the call connected right at the very first ring.
"Noah! Are you in the city already? Did you meet your sister? How is she doing? Does she look well?" He fired his questions at Noah as if he had practiced beforehand.
The other end was silent for a few seconds before Noah spoke, "Can’t you call her yourself? Calling your son for the first time in six months just to ask about his sister. You didn’t even ask if it was a human speaking or the spirit of your son."
His father didn’t reply so he continued, "Let’s forget about that. I saw Kera, and she told me you travelled and blah blah. I picked your call so I could complement you, Dad. This is the first, no, the second thing you are doing which will actually help Kera live in happiness. For now, I hope you don’t interfere in her life with Ethan since you know what your first intrusion caused."
"What are you saying, Noah? Your sister’s marriage with Ethan is simply contractual and they don’t have feelings for each other."
"They do, and I’ll stop at that. Why did you call?"
Though Liam wanted to continue probing his son, he knew from Noah’s tone that he wasn’t going to say more than he already had. Therefore, he went back to his reason for calling.
"Were you searching for me because your sister told you I went on vacation?" he asked.
"Why would I?" Was Noah’s simple answer, which was another question on its own.
"I will call you back, Noah."
Liam hung up on the call and dialled another number, his assistant’s.
"Book the earliest flight you can get. We have to go back," he ordered.
Dropping his phone on the bed beside him, he knew that things had gone terribly bad at home. And that he had to get home before Ethan would break the final clause of the contract.
