A form in the wild darkness broke through the hazy mist, the bushes waved behind. A big predator that had been waiting in the bushes, and on the exact moment it jumped in front of Ruan Thaiun. The creature was big and furious. It has sharp claws and big teeth like a boar. It face was big and ugly. And it kind a looked as a boar in the body of jaguar.

Ruan fall back on her behind nearly avoiding the big beast named Alpha Hybrid. The claws of the beast had snatched her guns but the impact of it's paws had rattled Raun.

The claws of the beast raked her shoulder and the hot breath brushed her face. Its saliva dripped from it furious mouth while it's teeth was big enough to kill a man with a single blow.

Lee made a move, he ran across and hit slashed his sword. The sword slashed the body of the beast as it roar with pain. The beast smashed it claws against the body of Lee. Lee eyes was sharp as he had the beast locked as target. He made a heroic stunt of slashing the blade once again to hit its strong claws. The beast howled and jumped over Lee. It was wounded and it went back in the pine trees near to the thick bushes.

Meantime another beast appeared out of the bushes. It was not as big as the "Alpha Hybridge' But it was different.

"It looks like a breeding factory made by Xin-Xuan Corporation. But what the hell it's coming from?"- Ruan asked Lee.

"I think some kind of signal has been placed here and these are definitely coming from the big tower. There must be a door or something."

The beast howled like an wolf. It's cry splitting the night. Ruan Thiaun picked her self up and she knew that she was in the line of it's attack.

Ruan gritted her teeth. She took the dagger in her hand. Locking her eyes on the beast.

The beast jumped in the air toward Ruan Thiaun.

"Ruan Look out!"- Lee shouted from the distance.

This time she was prepared. She twisted her body, freeing her arms just enough to plunge the dagger in to the beast. The dagger cut through its rough skin as she slashed the dagger with her strength.

"Die you beast, just die."-Ruan shouted as keeps slashing the dagger into the beast.

The beast howled with pain. Its body was trembling as death was knocking the door.

Lee took his pistol as it was already loaded, did not be hesitate to fire. The bullets hit it's chest and it fall back. Ruan jammed with her dagger and slit the dagger into the beast's throat.

She drove the dagger deeper and deeper. Ruan Thiuan swung her blade repeatedly into the beast. The beast moaned with pain. It's cry made the distance shuttle.

The blood of the beast was all over her. Ruan Shouted, " Fuck You."

Lee could feel the tension growing in the air. He asked Ruan to stop.

"Enough, Ruan. You, need to stop now. There will be more. Save your strength."

Ruan rose up in the ground, she took the water bottle from the satchel. She poured the water to wash the blood from her body. She saw her hand. There was a cut made by the "Alpha Hybridge."

Lee was very happy with the effort from Ruan. After the first attack which nearly killed her, she did not get afraid Instead she was determined and fought back.

"Excellent! That was really brave, Ruan. Keep this pace going."

Ruan Nodded her head. She knew she had a tough fight. But there are more to come.

So, she took some iodine from the bag and poured over her cut. The pain felt in her head. But she made no reaction. She knew she has to be prepared for more fury to come. And like Lee said there are more surprises waiting in the dark.
