The Alpha King's Nemesis-Chapter 99: Enchanted Forest ()
"This is the last known location of Princess Eloneth,"
"A guardian pixie reports spotting three mermen lingering about the Northern barrier of the enchanted forest a few hours before Eloneth was abducted."
"The enchanted forest is home only to the pixies and forest nymphs, it is enclosed in the very heart of the Floral Domain and the barrier surrounding it is impenetrable."
"As such, the guardian pixie did not think much to it upon sighting the mermen as the shores of the Eastern Seas were not too far off, however on that very day, Eloneth was abducted."
"Other than those three mers, there were no further reports of any suspicious presence around the enchanted forest." Battle Lord Dinani relayed.
It had been a few days since the supernatural council had arrived the Floral Domain and although the Fairy Queen had remained adamant in her accusation of the Sea Kingdom,
Lord Kodin had offered a deal she could not refuse. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
The supernatural council and the Crimson Wolves would spare no efforts to find the missing Princess on the grounds that the Fairy Queen withdrew her army and relented till the investigation was concluded.
But of course, the Fairy Queen would never yield too easily and so she had allotted seven days.
In seven days, they were to find Princess Eloneth... alive or dead as well as report the full details surrounding her abduction and all parties involved.
After which, the Floral Domain would make their move with full justification and the support of the supernatural council.
It meant after seven days, the supernatural realm would be faced with war if they failed to find Princess Eloneth.
The battle fairies had withdrawn from the Eastern Shores a day ago and so the clock had already began ticking.
However Allen was not fazed by this, with himself and Darren both present... seven days were more than enough.
"May we speak to this pixie?" Lord Kodin asked and battle lord Dinani nodded.
The Battle Lord’s eyes glowed for a moment before a small bundle of light the size of a closed fist shot out of the enchanted forest which lay before them.
As the bundle of light arrived hovering before them, the glow surrounding it receded to reveal a miniature version of a male fairy, his entire form just about six inches tall and two spectral wings flapping behind him.
"This is Conrad, guardian pixie of the pixie patrol team." Battle Lord Dinani introduced.
"Conrad, do give the guests a briefing of what you witnessed on the day my daughter was abducted." Battle Lord Dinani ordered,
"Who speaks pixie?" Vima, the female council vampire asked just as the pixie was about to begin speaking.
"What pray tell does the vampire believe pixies speak?" Came the pixies voice which sounded just a tad bit louder than a whisper, but clearly offended as his tiny face reddened to the vibrant shade of a tomato.
Allen would have found it amusing had he not known fully well just how fierce and deadly pixies could be,
Despite their tiny forms, amongst the warriors of the Floral Domain, the pixie troops could be regarded as one of the most deadliest as their vine magic was extremely formidable.
Most importantly, the pixies had tempers even shorter than their sizes and were easily enraged, they battled in hordes with ancient formations and were blindingly fast and extremely hard to kill.
"Vima." Lord Kodin warned the female council vampire as they watched the red faced pixie.
"Apologies." Vima grunted out to the pixie who nodded.
"Conrad holds no grudges." The pixie, Conrad replied with a nod as he held his glare on the female council vampire for only a moment longer before his anger subsided.
"As His Lordship has probably already informed, while patrolling the northern end of the enchanted forest, Conrad and patrol team sighted three mermen."
"Although their presence did come off to Conrad as strange, we the pixies of the enchanted forest hold a cordial relationship with the merfolk and it is not unusual to sight the mers around our borders." Conrad continued,
"However, as it is Conrad’s daily routine, Conrad turned in a report of the sighting to Pixie Lord. Fairy Princess visits our enchanted forest every season about this time,"
"Fairy Princess’s magic rejuvenates the enchanted forest and grants pixies another season of prosperous harvest, however this time, before the ritual, Fairy Princess disappears all of a sudden and no one knows of her whereabouts."
"Fairy Queen rages to Pixie Lord and pixies embark on a search through the enchanted forest yet to no avail, Fairy Princess is simply gone."
"Conrad then recalls the sighting of the mers and calls Pixie Lord’s attention to it. Fairy Queen declares war immediately Pixie Lord gives report."
"Princess Eloneth’s magic enriches Pixie forest, the ritual is yet to be performed and Fairy Princess disappears."
"Coming harvest of pixie enchanted forest is uncertain, the ritual must be completed! Pixies will stand with Fairy Queen and battle the mers for harming Fairy Princess. Pixies will show no mercy till Fairy Princess is returned!" Conrad vowed in a dark tone.
"We understand the position of the pixies, and we are grateful for your help Conrad. Creator willing, we will find a way to sort this out without a battle,"
"We will find the Fairy Princess and have her returned in time to complete the pixie’s ritual of seasons. The council grants you our word." Lord Kodin promised.
The pixie Conrad was quiet for a moment before he nodded once.
"Council Lord speaks no lies, Conrad knows this. Pixies will entrust this matter to council and Lords of Crimson Moon." Conrad said.
"With the Fairy Queen’s permission, we request the pixie lord to grant us entry to the enchanted forest and we shall trouble you to take us to the exact point Princess Eloneth was last seen." Lord Kodin said in a grateful tone.
"Pixie Lord has heard from Fairy Queen, enchanted forest is sacred and even fairy kin are not granted entrance."
"But Pixies never forget debt owed to Crimson Lords, Conrad comes to relay Pixie Lord’s orders, council may enter pixie enchanted forest." Conrad said as he waved his tiny hand in the direction of the pixie forest, the barrier parted and he shot off ahead.

~Somewhere In the Depths Of The Western Seas~
"Zariah has been apprehended and locked up in the dungeons of the Sea Palace... ungrateful mers. They have absolutely no idea who they are dealing with." Nile murmured in a dark tone.
Kristen was stumped for words, he wondered how he had only closed his eyes for just a moment and the entire Sea Kingdom had been overturned.
Kristen was even more baffled to hear Lady Zariah had actually snatched the tide trident from right under the nose of his uncle and cousins and had carted it away from the Sea Palace unhindered.
On one hand, Kristen wondered just how incapable his royal guard had become that they had been unable to secure the tide trident,
On the other hand, Kristen was utterly displeased his mate had to be accorded such treatment in the Sea Palace and it enraged him that as always, his uncle was completely blindsided by what he chose to believe.
This was the supernatural realm, there were hundreds of spells that could allow one take on the face of someone else and pretend to be that someone.
A sighting of someone who supposedly looked like Lady Zariah leaving his quarters was no proof of anything.
Kristen sighed to himself, his uncle had always been fond of transferring aggression and Kristen knew all of this was still owed to his anger at the allegations laid against him by the Fairy Queen.
And what was worse, they had gone as far as imprisoning Lady Zariah right under the watch of Alpha King Askel?
Kristen truly feared for the fate of the Sea Kingdom, the Ethereal Domain were not known for their mercy and then there was the Crimson Moon added to it.
"Well, at the very least, they can be assured if even a hair on Zariah’s head is tousled wrongly, I will smash their tide trident into a thousand pieces." Nile spoke up after a short moment of quiet.
Kristen’s eyes widened as he grasped Nile’s sleeve and shook his head frantically.
Nile scoffed as he pulled his hand out of Kristen’s grasp.
"You should be more concerned about your own self, if we do not find the water hydrant, you may not live to see me smash the tide trident." Nile deadpanned.
Kristen sighed again, leaning against the wall as he shook his head slowly.
Kristen had not expected he would be possessed by a charmer demon spirit and then poisoned with only a few days left to live, all in the space of a few weeks.
Kristen could swear his entire life had not been half as eventful as these past few weeks and although it was sad to admit, that was the honest truth.
