Sweet Wife So Charming: CEO: Hold Back Your Heart-Chapter 31: Clearing the Venue
"Looks good." Heath Sterling didn’t even turn his head.
"What are you doing?" Thea Thorne saw Heath Sterling standing up, staring in another direction without moving.
"You said it looks good without even looking."
It wasn’t until she walked over that she realized the reason for Heath Sterling’s distraction; he had seen Moira Young.
"Moira Young, is this your boyfriend?" Thea Thorne gave Julian Sinclair a once-over, clearly feeling overwhelmed by his aura yet still pretending otherwise.
Upon hearing the word "boyfriend," Heath Sterling’s gaze turned sharp, and he immediately turned and walked away.
Thea Thorne saw this and knew she had touched a sore spot but did it on purpose, knowing Heath Sterling’s feelings. If it hadn’t been for Moira Young getting in the way, she would have long been Heath Sterling’s girlfriend.
Though she was quite afraid of Julian Sinclair, Thea Thorne shot a few harsh glares at Moira Young in her heart, paid the bill, and quickly chased after him.
Julian Sinclair was completely impatient by now and called Butler Liu.
"Clear the area." Cold and irritable.
"Uncle, don’t bother. I don’t feel like shopping anymore. Let’s just pick a few things from here and go." Moira Young didn’t want to upset Julian with this trivial matter, so she picked a few outfits with different styles.
As she was choosing clothes, Julian Sinclair sent a message, blacklisting Thea Thorne from all Sinclair Group enterprises.
After returning home, Moira Young took out the new clothes she bought and tried them on one by one; each looked particularly good on her.
Julian Sinclair was sitting in the living room reading a newspaper, occasionally glancing at her with a smile, as if basking in the spring breeze.
She got tired of trying on clothes, naturally lying on the sofa, leaning against Julian Sinclair, and then turned on the TV.
"Mr. Arthur Whitman’s teaching activities have drawn public attention, bringing warmth to children in mountainous areas, now the hottest topic." The reporter’s clear voice came from the TV.
Moira Young kept feeling that this person looked somewhat familiar, but couldn’t quite place where she’d seen him before.
She murmured, "This person is really kind."
Julian Sinclair glanced up, withdrawing his smile, "Never look only at the surface of things."
"Uncle, you seem to have a problem with this person, why is that?" Moira Young recalled the magazine that was thrown away last time.
"Some people are wolves in sheep’s clothing." His eyes flashed with hatred, quickly disappearing, unnoticed.
Moira Young felt that person was unrelated to her, didn’t care to discuss him further, and suddenly felt playful, leaning in with a bright smile.
"Uncle, then what are you a wolf in disguise as?"
"I never put on any disguise."
"So you’re admitting you’re a wolf then?" Moira Young rejoiced at having caught Julian Sinclair in her playful trap.
Julian Sinclair’s lips slightly curled.
He was a wolf, a wolf longing to devour her whole.
——
The next day.
They flew to Vesperia in a private jet, so their schedule was pretty flexible, but fortunately, Moira Young didn’t oversleep, so they left relatively early.
"By the way, Uncle, whose wedding are we attending?" Moira Young remembered to ask after getting on the plane, her main focus being on visiting Vesperia, with the wedding as a secondary concern.
"You’ll find out when we get there." Julian Sinclair didn’t seem to care much about the wedding either, planning to attend just to make an appearance.
Julian Sinclair had always lived in Vesperia, only moving back after adopting Moira Young, so his homes and cars in Vesperia were still under his name.
After disembarking the plane, he took Moira Young to his home in Vesperia.
However, when Moira Young sat in the car and saw the castle-like building before her, she was very surprised.
Though the houses in their country were large and impressive, they were not even a third of this.
"Uncle... was this really your home before you returned to our country..." Moira Young swallowed her words, appearing incredulous outwardly but internally eager to live there, put on a little English skirt, and have afternoon tea on the garden chair.
Just thinking about it seemed dreamy. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
"Knowing you like castles, I’ll take you to Serephina next time." Julian Sinclair saw her enchanted look, absolutely adorable, truly tempted to lay all the best at her feet to choose from.
Moira Young gave a questioning glance, thinking she misunderstood, just about to ask, when Julian Sinclair picked her up horizontally.
"Get a good rest tonight; we have to leave early tomorrow morning."
Only Julian Sinclair understood, tomorrow would be a battlefield without gunpowder, and both he and Moira Young would be participants.
