Sweet Wife So Charming: CEO: Hold Back Your Heart-Chapter 200: Don’t Move
Julian Sinclair insisted she not leave, "I’ll take you back when they arrive."
Moira Young couldn’t think of a good reason anymore, and in her urgency, she blurted out, "I just don’t want to stay here, I just don’t want to see you, I want to leave!"
Julian’s hand on her shoulder stiffened for a moment, and a flash of pain crossed his eyes, gone in an instant.
He stopped speaking, his expression becoming cold, and his entire body exuded a chill.
Seeing him release her, Moira got up from the sofa at once, ready to leave.
"Miss Moira! Where are you going? The food is ready, have a meal at home," said Mrs. Miller, placing the dishes on the table, "I specially made your favorites."
Moira was caught in a dilemma; stepping out or staying wasn’t an option. After what she had just told Julian, she couldn’t possibly stay for dinner...
She could smell the aroma of the food; Moira hadn’t eaten practically the whole day, and after the bath earlier, she was ravenous.
"I..." Moira’s face showed her grievance, and her eyes involuntarily glanced at Julian.
"Julian Sinclair! Help! Julian Sinclair—" Suddenly, the voice of Adrian Grant came from outside the door.
Mrs. Miller went to open the door, "Young Master Adrian, what are you doing here so late?"
Adrian rushed in, looking at Julian with a face full of vexation, "Today, I got entangled with a crazy woman. You know, I’ve been with many women, even the most difficult ones, I could handle, but today, I really couldn’t. She blocks the entrance to my house every day, I—"
"Hey? Moira?" Adrian, noticing Moira standing aside in the middle of his rant, looked her over, "Wow! Still in your pajamas! Are you planning to stay over?"
Moira glared at him, ignoring him.
"That proud look of yours, it’s because Julian spoils you. If I were the one taking care of you, I’d have straightened you out," Adrian teased Moira even more than usual with a mischievous grin.
Seeing that Moira was ignoring him, Adrian wisely stopped being the butt of the joke and took a seat next to Julian, "Julian, you gotta take me in these days!"
"Oops! I mean, take me in," Adrian corrected himself in haste after the slip of the tongue.
Moira, still annoyed a moment ago, laughed upon hearing this.
"Young Master, Miss, Young Master Adrian, let’s eat now," Mrs. Miller placed the prepared meal on the dining table.
"Wow, is this all Moira’s favorite?" Adrian sat down unceremoniously.
Moira stood at the entrance, torn about whether to leave or not.
"Julian Sinclair, what’s going on? Did you scare her? Why is she leaving in pajamas?" Adrian gave Julian a knowing look, "You two are really stubborn."
Seeing no response from Julian, Adrian helplessly went to invite Moira back.
"Come on, let’s eat first. Whatever grudges you have, solve them after the meal."
Moira looked at him with her stunning eyes, "Don’t assume everyone is as dirty-minded as you are."
Adrian had just picked up his chopsticks when he heard this. If it had been someone else, he might have been angry, but it was Moira in front of him, the girl he had watched grow up.
"Me, dirty-minded? Julian Sinclair is no better."
Julian looked outwardly calm, but inside, he was ready to strangle Adrian.
"Anyway, I’m definitely staying here for the next few days, I—"
"Can’t you stay at a hotel?" Moira asked.
Adrian hesitated, "What’s wrong with me staying here? Am I interrupting your little paradise?"
"Adrian, what nonsense are you spouting!" Moira was flustered, her cheeks flushed red.
"Alright, since you’re still calling me Adrian, I’ll let it go for the sake of that ’brother’ word," Adrian began eating, "I’m done speaking, I’m eating now."
Moira’s stomach growled loudly, and she decided to eat first and deal with everything else later.
After dinner, Adrian went upstairs to sleep in the guest room contentedly, and Moira was also ready to leave.
"I’ll see you out," Julian said as he walked to the entrance and picked up the car keys.
"No need, I can get a cab."
Julian ignored her words and walked to the car, opening the door to signal Moira to get in.
Moira hesitated, "I really don’t need you to take me..."
"Get in the car," Julian’s intention was clear, "Do you want me to carry you?"
Moira tensed up, knowing Julian never changed his mind once he decided something, and she got in the car decisively.
The entire way, neither of them spoke a word.
When they arrived at the show studio, the dormitory lights were still off; nobody was there yet.
Moira, though afraid of being alone, unbuckled her seatbelt with determination.
Just as she opened the car door to get out, Julian suddenly grabbed her without warning. Before Moira could react, Julian pushed her back onto the seat!
"Don’t move!" Julian’s voice was tinged with restraint.
Moira heard it in his tone.
She anticipated what might happen next, still resenting Julian for the other women in his life, aside from her.
Thinking of this, Moira frowned and tried to push him away.
The result—
"I said don’t move, yet you insist on moving!" Julian’s lips descended once more!
