A deep frown appeared on Kira’s face as she slashed a condensed water lance aimed at her heart, destroying it into fragments.

The four demon lords in the scene panicked as they watched their brethren fall one after the other.

The human army... they were relentless, like wild beasts. Two to three demons had to gang up if they wanted to take one down. Yes, they were that powerful.

As he got closer to Adrian, the crown prince headbutted him fiercely, sending him smashing into the ground. Another tried to sneak up on him, only to find a sharp water spear piercing his shoulder, making the demon scream in pain.

"Dammit, does this guy have eyes on his back or something?!" the female demon cursed under her breath as she tried to dodge the water chains that were moving like snakes in the air.

Although none of the four had lost their lives, since the beginning of the fight, they had been the ones to sustain the most injuries.

Kira flipped and twisted her body at several angles just to avoid the water chains shooting at her, trying to capture her. From time to time, she cut off the ones she couldn’t dodge, but that was ineffective as the water merged together and attacked even more fiercely.

’I need to get close to him.’ Kira’s frown deepened. ’The water chains give him the ability to attack from long range. If only I can close the distance, he would be forced into melee.’

Right at that moment, she suddenly had an idea and shouted at the four demon experts.

"I have an idea! A way to kill him, but to do that, you guys have to do something for me!"

"A-And w-what is that?!" the female demoness grunted, twisting her body awkwardly to dodge another attack. Yet despite her best effort, the water chain still slashed the side of her stomach, and blood poured out of the wound.

She kicked off the ground, jumping far away—out of the range of the deadly chains.

Now it was only three demons fighting Adrian, who had a cold expression on his face.

’This human, despite being the same level as us, is very strong,’ another demon thought as he jumped back, standing beside Kira. Then the others followed suit.

They realized that despite their numbers, a fight against this person was unwinnable, and they needed to be strategic.

"It’s all because of her! She’s the one making us lose this fight!" the Level 100 demon shouted, pointing at the middle of the battlefield, his voice laced with anger.

In the middle of the battlefield, Ria stood, surrounded by several soldiers. Her eyes were closed, and she was chanting while the human soldiers cut down any demon that tried to get to her. Some of them even sacrificed themselves for their princess.

Ria didn’t lose focus. Despite the sound of bodies thudding to the ground, the blasts of magic attacks and clashing weapons, and the battle cries, her expression never faltered.

"You, go for the girl," Kira said, pointing her sword at the lean demon with wings.

"With pleasure." That demon smiled cruelly, thinking the princess was easy prey.

The red-skinned beauty then turned to the remaining three. It was the demoness with emerald hair, the bulky one, and the silent one who wore a mask.

"I need you three to do something," she said and proceeded to whisper the plan to them.

There was a slight look of hesitation, but they eventually agreed.

"I don’t need to hear what you’re saying to know what you’re thinking," Adrian’s calm voice echoed as the water chains slowly withdrew. In their place were two curved water blades.

He took a lethal fighting stance that seemed to scream danger.

At the same time, Kira shouted at the top of her voice, "Now!"

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The three demons didn’t hesitate and bolted toward him, coming from all directions. The place they previously stood exploded into fragments, and their bodies were charged with demonic energy miasma, further boosting their speed.

They were moving so fast that Adrian had no choice but to squint to properly follow them.

All this while, he didn’t move from his spot. He remained calm and composed, his gaze fixed on the red-skinned warrior approaching.

But from the corner of his eye, he could see the three demons closing in as well.

A small smirk curled up on the demoness’s face mid-charge. "You’re done for, human."

"Die!"

All three demons echoed at once as they unleashed their most destructive attacks.

Black miasma erupted from the point of contact, briefly enveloping Adrian.

"If I don’t go all out against this person, then I might actually die here," Kira mumbled under her breath.

Right at that moment, she shook her blade fiercely and the wrapping fell off, revealing the sword’s razor-sharp edge with blood markings glinting ominously.

She held the sword in a reverse grip and slashed the air violently.

A large trail of blood projection exploded out of the sword.

The demonic energy embedded in the slash caused the very ground beneath it to crack and rupture as it screamed toward the black mist.

Kira’s eyes gleamed with madness.

But the moment the blood slash collided with the miasma—

A massive explosion of crimson and darkness burst outward, slamming into the others who were fighting.

Akira and Jack, who were currently facing Hendrix, jerked and jumped back, avoiding the shockwave.

They looked at the mist with concern.

Hendrix also momentarily broke away, looking at the outcome of the destructive combined attack.

’Did she actually get rid of him?’ he thought in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Kira panted after the attack, her face glinting with exertion.

Suddenly, just when she thought it was all over, a voice—a confident, calm voice—echoed from the dark crimson mist.

"If this is all it would take to bring me down, then do you think I’d have survived this long in the Capital infested with demons?"

The eyes of the three demons, including Kira, shrank.

"No way he survived that!" the demoness gasped.

Following those words, Adrian stepped out, a thin water barrier surrounding his body and slowly evaporating away.

"Alright, now it’s my turn." He smiled.
