Just as the black grease was expelled from Peter’s body, he clearly felt a stronger connection to the sky, as a large amount of spiritual energy rushed toward him from all directions, followed by trembling throughout his body.

Afterward, under Peter’s guidance, the spiritual energy flowed toward the area below his navel.

Boom!

With a soft sound, Peter understood that he had broken through a barrier and naturally entered the Qi Refining First Layer.

Soon enough, there was a spinning mass of energy in the area below Peter’s navel.

The spiritual energy, guided by the Cultivation Technique, then sunk into it.

‘I have True Qi now!’

From then on, Peter truly had True Qi and stepped into the ranks of cultivators.

This inheritance was real!

Although Peter had known beforehand that the content of the inheritance was real, he had never succeeded in his cultivation before.

He had once doubted it, but now that he had entered the Qi Refining First Layer, he would never doubt the content of this inheritance again.

It wasn’t easy!

For Peter, this was no easy task.

He had practiced for three years in prison and had only managed to achieve a hint of qi.

Now, however, True Qi had entered the area below his navel, and it had not come easily.

At this point, Peter discovered a foul smell on his body.

Realizing it was the toxins and impurities expelled from his body, Peter decided to take a bath.

However, considering the circumstances at home, Peter didn’t want to disturb his family.

So, he climbed out of the back window in his shorts and headed for the nearby river.

There was a small river in the front of the village.

Since the village was too poor, everyone bathed in that river.

Many people preferred to bathe late at night, making it a favorite spot for young people.

However, Peter had arrived quite late, and he could hardly hear people talking when he got there.

Various insects were chirping everywhere.

The weather was so hot that Peter, even in his shorts, didn’t feel cold.

Arriving at the riverbank, Peter jumped directly into the river.

Due to the daytime sunshine and the heat of the night, Peter didn’t feel cold but rather a refreshing sensation all over his body.

As a child, Peter had often played in this river, and his swimming skills hadn’t deteriorated.

As he washed his body with a small bar of soap, he looked around the river.

Surprisingly, even after so many years away, everything here was still so familiar.

At that moment, Peter recalled a river section where he used to sneak peeks at adults doing some outrageous things.

The thought made Peter feel somewhat feverish, and he blushed.

This medicine’s effect was so strong!

Under the moonlight, Peter looked at his fair body and was shocked.

His muscles had never been so well-defined before, especially the muscles in his chest and abdomen. novelbuddy.cσ๓

It wasn’t like this yesterday!

After some thought, Peter realized that the change must have happened today, most likely due to the ointment he had used.

Could cultivation also make one more physically fit?

Thinking of this, Peter couldn’t help but laugh.

Recalling some interesting past events, Peter casually threw the remaining soap towards a place where he used to play with his friends.

Peter had tossed the soap just for fun, but something unexpected happened.

With the soap being thrown, a scream came from across the river, followed by a woman’s loud cry.

What’s happening?

Peter was genuinely startled by this event.

Nothing should be happening in that part of the river, overgrown with wild grass.

What was going on?

Peter was about to leave, but after hearing the sound from that direction, he felt something strange.

Hesitating for a moment, he still cautiously walked towards it.

“Is someone there?” Peter shouted first.

“Help me, please, help me!”

A woman’s voice became even sharper.

Was someone drowning?

Peter hesitated no more and quickly ran over.

When he got closer, he saw two naked bodies in the wild grass, under the moonlight.

“What happened?” Peter asked as he saw a young man lying on the ground.

“It’s you, Peter!”

The woman also saw Peter.

“Quick, save him!”

This time, Peter finally recognized the woman as Helen Baker, the new daughter-in-law of the Evans family, and the man as her father-in-law Roshan Evans.

Seeing that it was these two, Peter was stunned by the situation before him, as he had never expected such a scenario.

Nevertheless, Peter didn’t have time to ponder too much.

He quickly approached Roshan and checked his pulse and breathing, then quickly started clicking specific acupoints on his body.

Fortunately, Peter now had True Qi within him.

He immediately used the Locking Yang technique, and after a while, finally clicked all the acupoints.

As he sat down on the ground, Peter noticed Helen still shivering and staring at Roshan.

What was going on between these two?

Upon closer inspection, Peter found torn pieces of cloth scattered on the ground and a palm print on Helen’s face.

“What happened to you two?”

Peter was completely unaware of the situation.

His eyes unconsciously swept over the woman’s body.

As it turned out, she was well-endowed and under the moonlight, Peter couldn’t help but look away.

“He…

he won’t…

die, right?” Helen asked timidly.

“If it wasn’t for me, he might have.

It’s fortunate he met me.”

Peter wasn’t being humble.

Today, if it hadn’t been for him treating Roshan, an ordinary person would have had no chance.

“Ah!”

Upon hearing that Roshan would survive, Helen cried out, as if a weight had been lifted from her chest.

Now, she finally realized her state and quickly moved to cover herself.

“I’ve seen everything already.

Tell me, what were you two up to?” Peter felt amused.

Upon hearing Peter’s words, Helen began to sob, covering her face with both hands, looking heartbroken.

Seeing this, Peter felt that he might have asked something he shouldn’t have.
