Governor Martin, Orion, and Leon were confronting the Tier-9 Sky Crocodile. They were careful not to let the beast too near the city.

They knew what would happen if the beast reached the city. A single attack was enough to raze it to the ground.

They had already requested help from the Human Alliance; they knew the Tier-9 Beast Tamers might be on their way. They had to hold on until the lords arrived.

At the same time, Head Harold and others were facing the beast tide. If the beast tide was not contained, then it would reach the city.

Either way, their situation was dire. Head Harold’s expression was serious. They were unable to kill all the beasts.

Some of the Tier-6 and Tier-7 beasts had slipped past them. They must be attacking the frontline. Harold was worried about the frontline. The number of Tier-4 and Tier-5 beasts was large.

The numbers were difficult for the frontline people to handle. He hoped that everyone would escape this disaster, but he knew that casualties were unavoidable in this battle.

Suddenly, the dark clouds shifted. They were moving towards the city. The Tier-9 Sky Crocodile was manipulating the dark clouds.

Seeing that, the faces of everyone changed drastically. They didn’t want the beasts to reach the city.

A tiger’s roar was directed at the black clouds. The wind force from its mouth reached the black clouds. The sky changed again.

The dark clouds were stopped, but the Sky Crocodile was still inside them. The wind roar didn’t even affect the Sky Crocodile.

A few seconds later, the dark clouds moved again. The next second, a thunderclap sounded. The sound was so loud that everyone felt pain in their ears.

The Tiger Beast was helpless against the beast in the sky. If the crocodile were on land, it would have attacked directly. Not only them, but the others were helpless as well.

Boom!

A Family Head used his bird-type lifeline beast to stop the dark cloud. The Eagle beast used its wings to drive away the black clouds.

The Tier-8 Eagle Beast was powerful. The wind force generated by its wings created a huge sound, stopping the dark clouds.

Seeing that, the Tiger joined the attack. It roared aloud to aid the effort.

Roar!

One after another, the Tier-8 lifeline beasts used their abilities to generate wind force.

The wind force generated by all these lifeline beasts was so powerful that it formed a massive tornado in the sky. The tornado stretched over 100 feet.

Roar!

The massive tornado clashed with the black clouds. Specifically, it collided with the Tier-9 Sky Crocodile. The Tier-9 Sky Crocodile let out a roar as it was pushed backward.

Seeing that, the faces of everyone eased. They had found a way to stop the Tier-9 Sky Crocodile. The massive tornado had come as timely help for them.

Fissure

Jeremy Night was carefully going downwards, but he hadn’t reached the bottom yet. He found the light was getting low, so he used X-ray vision.

As he went further down, he found small, dangerous insects crawling on the rock walls.

These insects were not insect beasts but other lifeforms. He had read in books about different types of beasts; these could be regular lifeforms, but not the beast type.

Jeremy paid attention to the lifeforms before resuming the journey. He was going downwards slowly.

The unknown beast egg continued to shake. The vibration was getting stronger. A few minutes later, he found a small, cave-like opening.

The passage went deep inside. Seeing that, he was confused. The vibration was stronger as he got closer to the cave opening.

His eyes flashed with understanding. So, the natural treasure was not underground, but inside the cave opening.

To think this small fissure had a cave opening at the bottom.

A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes. He took a deep breath before going inside.

He used the gadget to illuminate the path. He got a good idea of how uneven the path would be. He had to be careful; he could come across a beast here.

After going deeper, he finally saw a blue-colored pond. There was white mist covering the pond’s surface.

Buzz!

The unknown beast egg continued to shake. Before he could do anything, the pond reacted. It began to stir.

Seeing that, he entered the pond. He walked up to the middle and sat cross-legged. It was not the first time he had found natural energy in a pond.

Buzz!

The white mist, along with the blue energy, entered his body. Then, the energy appeared inside the mental zone and was sucked up by the unknown beast egg the next second.

Time passed. Slowly, the natural energy in the pond decreased. The whole pond was a treasure. He couldn’t believe that none of the beasts were able to find the pond water.

Frontline

The frontline was secured, but they were all apprehensive of the black clouds in the sky. The downpour of rain intensified.

The corrupted beasts attacking them were stopped; they were unable to get past the frontline. The Beast Taming Teams were able to perform efficiently.

On Catherine Rosewood’s side, she was not happy. She had seen Jeremy Night taken by the Wind Wolf.

Not only her, but others had seen it as well. Everyone was convinced that Jeremy Night was dead. They didn’t know what to say; Jeremy Night had saved them multiple times in the battle.

The person who was affected most was Catherine Rosewood. She couldn’t believe that Jeremy Night was dead. She didn’t want to believe it.

But she knew the Wind Wolf was a Tier-6 Beast and Jeremy Night was a Tier-3 Beast Tamer. It is hard for a Tier-3 Beast Tamer to survive unless something happened to the beast. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
