5th Zone, City-A

Jeremy Night was resting after completing his practice. He was waiting for Senior Melinda’s reply, but he had received no answer so far.

Just as he was worrying and thinking about calling her, he got a new message in his inbox. He opened the message to read it.

A relaxed smile appeared on his face.

He had been worried that Senior Melinda wouldn’t see his message. But fortunately, she read those messages and texted him back.

He then put the device on the table. His eyes flashed with a sharp glint. He didn’t expect her to take him to the spot tonight.

He began to get ready.

That night, both of them left the building and traveled in her car to the city gate. The spies outside the city gate ignored the flying car.

They wouldn’t follow every flying car entering and exiting the Red Moon Chamber. But they didn’t know that Jeremy Night was in the car.

Melinda’s expression turned serious.

She said, "Follow me!"

Hearing that, Jeremy nodded to her and started following. Both of them ignored the barricades and continued walking towards the admin office near the city gate.

Their arrival caused alertness. The City Guards then saw Melinda’s uniform, and they were rest assured.

Jeremy Night felt the lingering gazes on him. They must have been wondering what a Tier-2 Beast Tamer was doing here.

They came to the office. Melinda then asked the guards about 2nd Captain Charles. He was inside the office.

She requested to meet him. One of the guards went inside to inform the 2nd Captain. Jeremy Night stood beside her.

He had learned some information from the articles. More than 20 City Guard Captains were in this city. It appeared there was a shift for everyone.

No single person could fight the battles continuously.

The guard came out and told them that the 2nd Captain was waiting for them. They walked inside. Melinda walked to the office.

He followed behind her.

After reaching the office, which was located at the corner after taking a right, she pushed the door open and entered inside.

Jeremy followed her from behind.

A dark-haired, middle-aged man with pale skin was seated at the desk. He was a Tier-5 Beast Tamer. A good friend of Melinda.

He was surprised by her sudden presence there. Normally, she would call him first. He then saw a young Tier-2 Beast Tamer beside her.

It once again surprised him. He then collected his thoughts and asked them to sit down.

Melinda signaled Jeremy Night with her eyes. Both of them sat in the chairs opposite him.

"Melinda, what a surprise."

"What brings you here?" Charles asked.

Hearing that, Melinda said, "I’m glad that it’s your shift now. I have brought our new recruit here. He wanted to see the ongoing battle."

Hearing that, Charles’ face changed drastically. He looked at Melinda with surprise. He didn’t know when the organization started recruiting Tier-2 Beast Tamers.

Melinda saw that Charles was confused, so she started explaining to him.

A few minutes later, Charles’ eyes filled with surprise. He looked at Jeremy Night up and down. He didn’t expect the Red Moon Chamber to recruit such a talented young man.

But that was it. He had seen many talented youngsters. Especially their 5th Zone, which was filled with many such talented young Beast Tamers.

Charles then said, "Now, I understand. But it won’t be easy to get permission."

"I have to ask the Commander," he added.

Melinda nodded to him.

The organization had many higher-tier beasts. In times of crisis, he could personally ask for a favor. So the commander agreed to their request.

They walked out of the Admin building. The city guards outside were surprised. They saw Captain Charles taking them towards the city gate.

They didn’t know what was going on. Charles walked up to the door. He asked the guards to open the city gate.

Hearing that, the City Guards were shocked. But upon seeing that Captain Charles was serious, they opened the gate.

The next second, everyone heard a loud noise.

The three of them walked through the door. Upon reaching the other side, the city guards closed the gate.
