Star Gate-Chapter 1466: Comprehension, Intimidation (I)

The master of Dragon Observatory quickly appeared in the air. He looked at the void outside the major world with a slight frown on his face, then at the sky.

“Tribulation clouds? A chaos tribulation?” he murmured. “A tribulation that has not yet fully taken shape...”

He turned in the direction of the major world, sinking into deep thought. Why had these changes suddenly occurred? Could it be...

Delight dawned in his eyes. Could it be that Skyward’s fortuitous occurrence was at hand? Why else would tribulation clouds suddenly be gathering? If that was the case...

He grew excited, despite himself. A deeper frown quickly creased his forehead, however. There were some unusual traces in the air. He hovered in the sky and probed downward. “Has an exalted emperor died recently?”

How strange! How would an exalted emperor die here?

The Dragon Observatory leader suspected that this might be the work of the other three factions, due to a lack of blood essence in their dao foundation sites.

He didn’t, couldn’t believe it.

Meanwhile, Li Hao didn’t care.

The speaker was unparalleled in might. He was simply sitting down, but levied a pressure that could suppress both heaven and earth.

The person that Li Hao was attached to was flabbergasted! A seventh rank exalted emperor of body dao! There truly was great fortune to be found in this world—it contained so many powerhouses!

What stunned Li Hao most of all was that the master of Skyward concentrated on spatial dao. In the young man’s categorization, life and death, yin and yang, and space were the three premier daos. The notion of a spatial dao master, and a ninth rank one at that, boggled the mind!

As the young man grappled with his astonishment, the dragon exalted emperor’s eye was caught by someone in the crowd. He frowned at the one that Li Hao was attached to.

It seemed like he’d discovered something, but also not.

The sky appeared to collapse under his scrutiny. Such was the seventh rank!

He was the same level of existence as the New Martial Human King—so formidable that the mind could not fathom it!

He frowned slightly, then decided to ignore Li Hao. “Body dao exists in almost all of the worlds throughout the chaos! It is one of the most common daos, but the foundation of all daos in my eyes!

“Discarding body dao is to deviate from the proper path! No matter how strong you may be in the end, you will flounder without a solid base!

“Today, I shall lecture on how to attain dao through this path!” The daoist began his lesson.

For some reason, he started from the very fundamentals of body dao. Perhaps he’d meant to do so from the very beginning, or perhaps he’d adjusted his lesson plan on the fly. It was clear that he’d lectured on this before as many in the crowd became distracted.

Li Hao, however, listened intently. This was his opportunity!

Each site represented a high rank exalted emperor—utterly rare existences in the chaos. And even if one was fortunate enough to encounter such an exalted emperor, would they deign to bequeath their knowledge?

The gap between the two sides would be too great!

This particular exalted emperor chose to start from the most basic concepts before delving deeper into an examination of blood qi. Li Hao was greatly enlightened from the lecture!

Having previous experience with New Martial, he was not new to body dao. New Martial focused on this dao as well!

“A strong physical body enhances the dao. With the perfection of one dao, all daos are open. All daos reached the same goal in the end, there is no significance in which is the primary dao. Any high rank exalted emperor reaches the same end, so what need is there to differentiate based on dao?

“The master of Skyward focuses on spatial dao. He can summon the wind and rain with a flip of his hand and overturn the chaos. He creates a world from the void with a single thought...”

Li Hao was completely taken aback. A world from a single thought?? How terrifying was that?! Could a human really reach those heights?

He’d gone through so much trouble to create a minor world and even attracted a chaos tribulation for his efforts. But based on this speaker, it took only a wish for a world to be born. That was the ability of a ninth rank exalted emperor, was it not?

There were other possibilities that he was just now learning of—creating a world with a thought, for example, or using the body to craft a world barrier.

All of these methods were incredible in Li Hao’s eyes. He continuously mused over and pondered them. The body was suddenly not a base construct in his eyes. On the contrary, it was the most essential foundation.

Cultivators should not overly favor a path or forgo the body. No matter how powerful their dao was, they should not abandon the body.

Li Hao didn’t say a word; his heart was calm. A seventh rank exalted emperor could indeed discover traces of time. In that case, was Supreme Zhang also of seventh rank?

The Human King and Ash Emperor should be seventh rank, but so was the supreme too, then, no? How else would he have discovered Li Hao’s visit so easily?

The dragon daoist froze, stunned, then quickly replied, “The master of my world is a ninth rank exalted emperor of space. He once invited good friends from all paths to convene. There were dao masters of life and death, yin and yang, body dao, the five elements... but none of time!

“If there is a chance to, fellow daoist is welcome at Skyward...”

And yet, these people could no longer be found at Skyward anymore.

Li Hao wanted to say something when the river trembled. His eyes widened and he plunged into the river. One interaction and a short conversation seemed to have touched upon something. He could feel a life-threatening danger in this moment!
