Star Gate-Chapter 1446: The Tribulation Disperses (II)
“Not bad!” snorted the Red Moon exalted emperor.
The Silver Moon master was indeed not bad. The boy had left a mark on him with that sword, and destructive sword intent was burrowing into him even now. But don’t forget, I’m an exalted emperor!
Red Moon power flared and the man’s presence built.
“Is this all you have?” Red Moon energy built over a fist and illuminated Silver Moon. It spread toward the world.
Gan Wuliang vomited copious amounts of blood and a red light twinkled in his eyes. He was being heavily injured by the backlash!
Li Hao had managed to injure his opponent with that blow, but inflicted only a surface level wound. It was clear to see from this that the other was stronger than the chaos beast from before.
Celestial Pole looked on with resignation from behind. There was nothing else he could do!
Although he’d given a fair imitation, fake was fake. It was too difficult to pull the wool over an exalted emperor’s eyes for too long.
Having forced the appearance of a strong book of dao, Zhang An’s face was also pale. Had they failed in the end?
Number Two had done its part, New Martial had also done its part, Panther was still seizing control of the chaos beast, Gan Wuliang and Hong Yitang were struck with backlash, he and Celestial Pole hadn’t intimidated the other for long enough, and none of the rest... could do anything against a powerful exalted emperor.

Li Hao shut his eyes in repose. The Red Moon exalted emperor sneered—not bad at all! But, not strong enough. He didn’t say anything as he didn’t wish to waste anymore time. There was fear in the depths of his heart, fear that New Martial might really charge over.
Therefore, he hesitated no longer and punched out. A red moon descended!
He was going to kill this person!
Li Hao did not make a move. Countless daos intersected in his eyes and he took in a small breath. I can’t grow any stronger! But... I may be able to make you weaker.
Since the young man couldn’t strengthen himself any further, he would bring the enemy down to his level.
The star of time circled around his river when he pointed at it; heaven and earth seemed to reverse. The Red Moon exalted emperor’s heart jolted when he seemed to sense the reversal of time!
His presence suddenly weakened and Li Hao trembled violently across the way. The enlightenment that’d entered his eyes when the Star Gate opened was present again. This was the change in the flow of time!
The Red Moon exalted emperor suddenly discovered that he was a bit younger, whereas Li Hao was much older than before. The latter continued to age rapidly, but the exalted emperor could sense a definite return of vitality.
Li Hao’s life force seemed to be surging into his body.

He was astonished, then slowly discovered what was untoward about these circumstances. His strength... was receding.
It hadn’t been long since he set foot into third rank exalted emperor, and now his presence abruptly free fell like it’d hit a critical junction. He was similar to the chaos beast now.

It was a very difficult undertaking, accomplished only because the one in front of him hadn’t broken through for long. The reversal of time was a success because he’d gathered the strength of a combined three daos.
So the power of time could be utilized in this manner as well!
Although he’d used it before, he’d gone with the water’s flow then to accelerate time. That was how he sped up Number Two devouring the eight bloodlines from Zheng Yu. This time, he went against the current!
That was a vastly different notion.
Going with the current was to catalyze the present. Going against the current was entering another domain entirely. It increased the difficulty of the procedure several times over.
Li Hao didn’t dare swim with the current for this person. This was an exalted emperor he faced, one with unlimited lifespan! If he accelerated time, he would die first before the other aged.
“Although I am far below New Martial, I cannot let others think lightly of me!” Li Hao blazed with pride. It was very difficult for him to accomplish the same heroic deeds as New Martial, but he stood a chance of killing a Red Moon exalted emperor.
He’d collected the strength of Silver Moon and borrowed the might of New Martial. While he wasn’t accomplishing everything by himself, he would still achieve something great to celebrate opening the Star Gate.
The long river transmuted into a sword that swung down!
This was a ferocious blow that crashed onto a demoted Red Moon exalted emperor. Despite the decrease in strength, the second rank exalted emperor was still extremely formidable. He punched out with fury!

Li Hao smiled through the continual crumbling of his body. A ponderous beast had soundlessly appeared behind the exalted emperor at some point in time. The two had fought for so long that Panther finally succeeded in taking over the corpse.
The dog’s customary attack style had always been to quietly sneak to the enemy’s rear and erupt with a lethal blow. It had coordinated with Li Hao so many times that it didn’t need the young man to remind it to do so.
It was the dog’s first time using the giant cow’s body, so it was unfamiliar with all of the parts. It forgot to utilize the sharp horns and didn’t realize that cow hooves weren’t as keen as canine claws.
But that was fine.
Cow hooves shot out like fists. The Red Moon exalted emperor was exchanging blows with Li Hao when he abruptly whirled around and punched out. The chaos around them exploded with a loud roar!
Despite Panther’s unfamiliarity with the massive body, there was still ample strength to make use of. The cow hooves shattered from the impact, as did the exalted emperor’s fists.
The latter was left in an exceedingly bedraggled state. Li Hao’s body continued to crumble away and Panther’s cow body also fractured...
The strength of a powerful exalted emperor was far more than they’d imagined. He was still alive after all of these offensives. An irate Red Moon exalted emperor reformed his arms and drew them back for a punch. He suddenly punched to both the left and right—one at Li Hao and the other at Panther!
Damn it! Did these bastards think a third rank exalted emperor would die so easily? How was it so easy to defy an exalted emperor?!
Even though the heavenly will of Silver Moon has taken over control of a second rank chaos beast’s body, do you know how to employ an exalted emperor’s strength?
He had a chance to kill all of them!
Off to the side, the cat was still fending off the chaos tribulation. But as the Silver Moon master utilized more power of time, the tribulation steadily built in strength. The cat wouldn’t be able to endure for much longer. That would be when the exalted emperor killed them all!

But their target was still standing!

Li Hao’s body turned illusory as he called out. “Panth!”
The dog was about to leap into another attack when it turned giant cow eyes on Li Hao. The young man looked back at him. They exchanged looks, to which Panther seemed to understand, but wasn’t sure about its understanding...
Regardless, the dog opened its mouth without another word!
A massive mouth yawned in the chaos, enveloping both Silver Moon and the Red Moon exalted emperor!
You want to devour me? snorted the exalted emperor. So what? I’ll break out of your stomach if you do so, you’ll just die that much quicker. You’re courting death!
