From Mei Jingya’s introductions, Shang Xia knew the high-level Sage who had made a move was Qian Hu of the Essence Hua Heavenly Field. He was a sixth star Sage who was far more experienced than Gu Yi who had just advanced.

Facing four at once, Shang Xia was not caught off guard. With his Seven Star Mace in hand, the seven stars along its shaft flared one by one. They echoed the stars of the Dipper Star Formation in the void as a massive vortex appeared to swallow their strikes.

At the same time, they relayed his appearance to the rest of the Sages of the Towering Star Region. Reinforcements would soon arrive. Even if Shang Xia escaped the falling Essence Mu World, he would still be surrounded by a larger number of Sages.

It was then that a deep boom came from the void behind him. Like a sealed bag that had burst from the immense pressure of gas built up inside, the soundwave rumbled closer.
