Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 50: Evelyn, Don’t Fall for Him
Evelyn didn’t dare to respond, always feeling that once she opened her mouth, she would fall into the deep pit her uncle had meticulously laid out for her.
But, was there anything wrong with this question?
When she gets married, she and her husband will inevitably have physical contact, only then can they nurture the next generation!
Seeing the seriousness in her eyes, as if pondering his question, Caden couldn’t help but laugh.
The laughter rumbled out of his chest, extraordinarily pleasant.
"So naive." He gently kissed her soft red lips, "Remember what you said, your husband can touch you."
Upon hearing this, Evelyn trembled even more violently, opened her mouth, but couldn’t form a single syllable.
Just then, there was a knock on the door, and Cecilia Lynch’s voice followed closely, "Evelyn, are you there? I brought you some clothes!"
Like finding a savior, Evelyn quickly responded, "Cece, I’m here! Come on in!"
As she spoke, she inadvertently glanced at Caden, whose handsome face had instantly turned dark.
Her gaze moved downwards, his heart must have been beating fast, even making his firm muscles seem like they were pulsating, each beat showcasing his masculine force.
Her scalp tingled, tentatively trying to push him away, but as soon as she touched his skin, she recoiled as if electrocuted, hearing only his angry frustration, "Punishment first, talk later!"
An angry kiss pressed down on her lips, not gentle at all, teeth tugging at her lips, more like a bite than a kiss.
It hurt!
Tears welled up in her eyes; the more she resisted, the more fiercely he kissed and bit, until she obediently surrendered, only then did he let her go.
Looking at her swollen red lips, he felt slightly satisfied.
"This time, I’ll let you off. But if it happens again, you’ll pay for it!" he whispered menacingly, breathing heavily, the slap mark on his face not yet fully gone.
Evelyn was dumbfounded by fear; she swore she would never dare to hit her uncle again!
Her mouth felt itchy and painful, and she sniffed, feeling terribly aggrieved.
Cecilia brought in the clothes, and the two sisters exchanged a glance, not daring to make any sound. Once Evelyn got dressed, they fled as if escaping.
Not until they reached the shore, out of sight of the ship, did Cecilia and Evelyn release a long sigh of relief.
"Evelyn." Cecilia spoke first, "You mustn’t develop feelings for your uncle, absolutely not!"
Evelyn’s heart was still caught in her throat, "What do you mean by that? I noticed earlier, your expression was strange when you saw Julian Keaton! And now you specifically warn me, what’s going on?"
"They’re not people we can reach or engage with." Cecilia said solemnly, "Don’t ask too much, just remember what I said, whatever you do, don’t fall for your uncle!"
Looking at Cecilia’s serious yet fearful expression, Evelyn became more puzzled.
Instinctively, she felt there was something she wasn’t being told.
However, no matter how much she pressed Cecilia, Cecilia refused to say more.
Left with no choice, Evelyn could only head home, the confusion in her heart lingering unresolved.
Meanwhile, Caden lay in the room’s chaise lounge with his eyes closed, his mind filled with Evelyn’s image.
Did he really just let her go?
This was completely unlike how he typically handled things!
How infuriating!
Why, when it came to her, was he unable to apply even the slightest forceful pressure?
"Changed your mind? It’s her, isn’t it?" Julian Keaton’s voice suddenly arose, and the room’s atmosphere instantly became tense and sharp.
