Sh-Shit, this...this really hurts, damn it.

I gritted my teeth as I regrew the bones of my left arm, along with thin strands of blood, weaving them through the bones as I trembled in pain.

I can’t regrow my muscles and nerves, but this makeshift arm is better than nothing. Complaining about it won’t do anything, so I’m just going to have to make do.

I took a deep breath and let out a slow exhale to compose myself, before taking aim and firing out a barrage of bone bullets towards Deino, who blocked them with his blades as he shot forward.

The bullets pinged off the face of his blades, before he leapt towards me as he closed in, whipping his blades down powerfully.

I raced away as fast as I could, evading the attack and extending out several blood tendrils and sending them zipping towards him with as much speed as I could generate.

He swung his blades across as they closed in on him, slicing the tendrils apart before they could reach them. As he nullified my attack, he rapidly lunged forward as he grew in size, driving his right foot down towards me.

I backed away in a rush, stumbling slightly as his foot collided against the ground powerfully, knocking me off-balance as the space rumbled, before he rapidly spun around and whipped his tail towards me.

I extended out several bone spikes out of my left side as his tail closed in on me, skewering it as it collided against the spikes and sending me hurtling across to my right with immense force.

As I unleashed a pressurized burst of blood from my right to cancel out the momentum and bring myself to a halt, he chased after me, driving his blades down towards me with a roar of exertion.

I planted my feet, extending bones into the ground from my soles, before several bone spikes erupted out in front of me as he closed in on me.

He quickly swung his left blade across, shattering the spikes, before unfurling a vicious thrust of his right blade straight towards me.

I sprang across to my left, narrowly evading the powerful thrust, which crashed onto the ground, before he rapidly dragged the blade across, launching a large spray of sand straight towards me.

As I inadvertently closed my eyes, I formed a layer of bone all over my body while simultaneously increasing the concentration of blood below my skin, right as his tail slammed onto the middle of my torso with immense force, knocking the wind out of me and sending me hurtling back at a breakneck speed.

I unleashed a burst of blood to cancel out the momentum, coughing out blood as my feet hit the ground and skidded back, before I quickly lifted my gaze as he came charging towards me.

Damn it, he’s attacking relentlessly now, it’s all I can do just to survive, I don’t even have time to catch my breath...

I unleashed a wave of rising bone spikes in front of myself as he closed in, but he leapt up and forward to evade the spikes, sailing over them while expanding in size.

I raced away as he began to swing his blades down towards me, before firing out a piercing blood beam towards his head.

He twisted his body across, the beam slicing across the left side of his jaw, before he unleashed a deafening roar towards me, overwhelming my ears and dazing me.

Sh-Shit...!

Before I could regain my bearings, a sharp pain erupted across my knees as he whipped one of his blades across, tearing through my knees and slicing my legs in half, before I let out a sharp, wheezing gasp as a crushing force struck my chest, his tail collided against me and shattering my ribcage.

Blood gushed out of my mouth as I got sent flying back with immense force, my back slamming onto the ground and skidding back, before I came to a sliding halt by the barrier.

I repaired my ribs as fast as I could as I shakily tried to get back up while regrowing my leg bones, coughing out more blood, before collapsing as I struggled to control the bare bones below my knees.

I stiffened as Deino came rushing in and lunged forward, my vision blurring as I tried to take aim and fired out a piercing blood beam, grazing the side of his left arm, before he drove his foot towards me as he closed in, slamming it against my solar plexus with a sharp, squelching crunch, shattering several bones and rupturing multiple organs upon impact.

Blood burst out of my mouth as my vision blurred sharply, my entire body wracked with pain as he jammed his right blade into the ground and grabbed the top of my head, his claws digging in as he lifted me up.

"What happened to that cocky bravado you displayed, human? It seems to have disappeared. Now, as promised, I shall eat you alive, bit by bit, killing you slowly and painfully. Where to start? Perhaps-...," He began, before abruptly trailing off as several bone spikes extending out of my torso and pierced into his, branching out rapidly inside him as they bore into his flesh.

"I-If...if I’m going down...I’m taking...you WITH ME!!!" I roared, as dozens of blood tendrils burst out of my back and wrapped around his forearms and calves, restraining his as my bone spikes continued to branch out, before he stiffened as they reached his Core.

Just a little more, I just need to apply a little more force onto it and-...! 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

Suddenly, he let out a deafening roar as he grew rapidly, forcibly ripping the branched bone spikes out of his body and hurling me at the ground, an excruciating wave of pain erupting across my back as I slammed onto the sand with an agonizing impact, before he stomped down on the lower half of my body with a vicious snarl, blood and gore splattering out on either side of me as he crushed everything below my waist underfoot...
