Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 2133: Small dragon
When I opened the door, I found that there was nothing different about this room.
The only thing that seemed out of place was the maids that were here, but they didn’t seem hurt. There was this layer of golden light that was around them that seemed to be keeping them in some form of suspended animation.
Other than the maids, there was only one other thing that attracted attention in this room.
It was the crib that Arthur was sleeping in.
Even though all these things were happening outside, it didn’t seem to bother him at all.
In fact, one could tell that there was something that was blocking off all the sounds that were outside the moment that they stepped into this room. It seemed like whoever had put up the barrier was taking care of Arthur.
Or it might just be his own power protecting him when he was in danger.
"Is there anyone here?"
After a moment of silence, I suddenly asked this question.
It was just that there was no answer that came in response.
With how silent it was, it really didn’t seem like there was anything that was in this place. It really seemed like this was just nothing more than a manifestation of Arthur’s power to protect himself.
But then I suddenly heard something.
When I heard this, I gave a signal to everyone to be quiet while also pulling out the orb just in case anything happened.
Like this, I started slowly approaching the crib until I was right in front of it.
Even then, it didn’t seem like there was anything that was going to reveal itself.
I could see that Arthur was just sleeping in the crib as if there wasn’t a single thing in the world that would be able to bother him. It wasn’t that he was being forced to sleep, it was that he just didn’t seem to be worried about anything.
This certainly was a strange sight in a situation like this.
Only I didn’t bother waking him up as I looked carefully at the crib.
After all, the sound that I heard came from the crib itself which meant that there should be something hiding here.
It was only after standing there for a while that I finally noticed what it was.
There was a faint rustle that came from the blankets.
It seemed like there was something that was hiding under them.
I didn’t hesitate at all as I reached out towards the part of the blankets that had moved just now.
Once I did, I found that there was another rustle that came from them as if whatever was there sensed that I was reaching towards it. With the way that it moved, it was as if whatever was there was trying to get away from me.
Only it didn’t seem to move that fast as I was able to grab the blanket before it escaped.
"This is..." I was stunned the moment that I saw what it was.
This thing wasn’t hard to describe, it was just that it certainly was a strange sight to describe.
"Small dragon."
That was the only description of this thing that could be used.
Only it wasn’t just any kind of small dragon, it was a golden dragon just like the one that had appeared the day that Arthur had been born. This was shown most clearly by the five clawed claw that it possessed.
The moment that this small dragon was revealed, it didn’t act the way that one might expect a dragon to act.
Instead of showing the pride that one would expect a dragon to have, it seemed to cower the moment that it was revealed. If there was one thing that this small dragon wanted at this moment, it was to avoid being the center of attention.
It was just that it was hard for it to avoid this since we were all here to see it.
Once it overcame the shock of being revealed, the small dragon went over to where Arthur was and even used his body to hide itself. Though as it did this, it showed just how bad it was at hiding as it was showing half of its body.
The way that it hid was the complete opposite of how a normal person would hide themselves behind something.
It reminded me of a certain reindeer from my past life...
"What are you?"
I asked the small dragon in a gentle voice that made it look at me, but it didn’t seem to say anything as it looked at me with a wary look.
After I did my best to show that I didn’t pose a threat to it, that was when the small dragon slowly made its way out from behind Arthur to move towards me. It continued moving towards me like this until finally it was standing there in front of me, looking right up at me.
I had no idea what this small dragon was thinking, but it didn’t seem like it was looking at me with hostility or wariness anymore. It was just looking at me as if it was thinking about something.
As for what that was...
After a while, the small dragon suddenly reached out towards me with that five clawed hand as if it wanted to take my hand. So in response, I reached my hand out towards that claw.
Once it took my hand, the small dragon moved my hand over to its head and placed my hand on it.
With the expectant look that it gave me, it was almost as if it was asking me to pat it on the back of the head. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
I was very confused by the actions of the small dragon, but at least it didn’t seem hostile...
At the same time, it seemed like it had been trying to protect Arthur before this.
Though it had tried to use Arthur as a hiding spot when it saw us.
In the end, I just patted it on the head to which the small dragon revealed a smile.
