Angela took this chance to move forward towards the crib.

This time, it didn’t seem like the small dragon was afraid of her approaching.

With the way that the small dragon looked at Angela, it seemed like it recognized her. Not only that, it even seemed like the small dragon had a good feeling towards her, as if it was close to her.

Was this because this small dragon came from Arthur, our son?

Though it didn’t seem like Angela cared about the small dragon when she came over to the crib.

The only thing that she seemed to care about was Arthur who was still napping.

Once she was beside the crib, she looked over him carefully to make sure that there was nothing wrong with him. After making sure that he was alright, that was when she finally paid attention to the small dragon.

The small dragon didn’t make a big deal out of this as it silently waited for Angela to finish what she was doing.

When she was done, it looked up at her as if it was expecting praise which confused her at first.

"It’s like a child that’s asking for praise from its parents." I said from the side.

Angela’s expression slowly changed to one of understanding when she heard this, though there was still a strange look in her eyes as she looked at the small dragon.

After all, it wasn’t as if she wanted to consider this small dragon her child...

It was better to say that this small dragon was just a part of her child, a manifestation of her child’s power. Even then, it was hard for her to really form a connection to this small dragon since it was her first time meeting.

Though it was clear that this small dragon felt a connection to the two of us with how it looked at us.

Eventually, she patted the small dragon on the back of the head like I did to praise it.

The small dragon looked very happy to be treated this way, just like how a child would celebrate praise from their parents. It really seemed like this small dragon was treating the two of us as its parents.

Once the small dragon received this confirmation, it went over to the window.
