Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 2114: Following the flow

Holding the orb up, I could feel the connection between me and the whirlpool getting stronger.

It was like there was some kind of thing that was strengthening the connection.

It was just that it didn’t seem strong enough for me to send my divine energy into the whirlpool.

"Why is it rejecting me?"

That was the one question that was on my mind as I looked at the whirlpool.

It wasn’t as if I wasn’t trying to send it my divine energy, it was just that it seemed like there was something that was pushing the divine energy that I sent into the whirlpool away.

The more that I tried, the more that it seemed like it was being pushed away.

Almost as if I was going against some kind of force that was being pushed outwards.

After a while, I narrowed my eyes to look at the whirlpool.

"It’s the flow..." I muttered to myself slowly after observing for a while.

It was hard to see, but I could feel it as I tried sending my divine energy in from different places. With the way that it was being pushed back, it seemed to follow some kind of pattern.

This was the flow of the whirlpool itself that was rejecting this divine energy.

"Then if I want to let it flow into the whirlpool, does that mean that I have to follow the flow?"

The more that I watched the whirlpool, the more convinced that I was that this was the case. After all, it really seemed like the force that was pushing me away was moving in a single direction.

In that case, the only thing that I could do was follow the flow into the center of the whirlpool.

Through the orb, I was able to send the divine energy.

Only this time, I didn’t use as much as I did before.

This time, I wanted to use a gentle approach when sending in this divine energy.

I wasn’t certain that it would work, but it turned out that this gamble worked out for me in the end as the whirlpool was finally accepting my divine energy. In fact, it might have even worked out a bit too well.

The moment that I was finally able to send divine energy into the whirlpool, it was as if the whirlpool also noticed and there was this greed that came from it.

The way that the whirlpool sucked at my divine energy, it was almost like it was someone that had been dying of thirst in the desert for several days now. It was as if this was the first drop of water that it had been given in a long time.

Which would certainly be ironic seeing as this thing was a whirlpool.

I didn’t stop it at first, but eventually it became a bit too much for me to handle and I had no choice but to stop the whirlpool.

Even though I was new to remotely sending divine energy like this, the concept itself wasn’t something that I was unfamiliar with. It was very similar to the way that I controlled how much divine energy was sent to the other creation divine energy relics in the past.

As long as I kept a firm grip on things, I could easily control how much divine energy was being sent into the whirlpool.

But after a while, I did stop sending the divine energy in and started moving back.

"What is it? Are you already done?" The water elemental ancestors that had been silently watching the whole thing looked like they were disappointed when they saw this.

I knew exactly why they felt this way, which was why I told them, "I’m just moving away from it. I can send the divine energy into it from any distance now that I’ve figured out how to do it, but I shouldn’t be too close or else I’ll be pulled into it."

"Oh..." The way that they said this was as if they didn’t actually agree with what I was doing.

But of course, I knew just what to say to convince them of this.

"If I get sucked in, I don’t think I’ll survive this. If I don’t survive, I can’t really give it divine energy, right?"

With this logic, there really wasn’t anything that they could refute me with.

The way that they looked at me had completely changed after they saw that the whirlpool reacted to what I was doing. It changed even more when they saw that the whirlpool had actually gotten a bit bigger.

From the marks on the very bottom of this body of water, it was easy for me to tell just how big the whirlpool had been in the past. So I knew that they would have been quite desperate since this whirlpool was much smaller than it was in the past.

With these marks, I knew just how far I had to move away to not get caught up in the whirlpool’s growth.

With the new method of sending divine energy, it really didn’t matter just how far I got away from this whirlpool.

So in the end, I went to where the final mark was and raised the orb once more.

This time, I increased the size of the whirlpool by a decent amount before stopping.

"It’s not as if I can do this all in a single day, I’m just a human. It’ll take some time and I’ll need to rest before I can finish all of this."

The water elementals all looked disappointed when they heard this, but they didn’t push things. They were gentle as Undine said, so they were actually quite non confrontational.

The way that they acted previously was because of how anxious they were, but now that they saw that it had an effect, they didn’t push things like they did previously.

"We understand. Please take as long as you need."

After saying this, the water elementals turned to look at Undine which made it tremble.
