Shattering Humanity-Chapter 95: ...Daylor

Charybdis wakes up against the audience wall, next to Aiden waving a smelling salt stick under his nose.

He remembers the fight and stands up quickly which startles Princess Kawaii, making her squeak in fear.

The 22 year old looks around, confused.

He sees Dom on the participant wall and the winner of Round 2 gives a friendly wave over to his superior and supervisor.

Char then looks at the two remaining Izanagi Division members in the 4v4. Scylia blows him a kiss and Katsu holds his tatted thumb up.

Katsu: "Don’t worry Big Bro Char, we got this!"

Sol is lying on her back, her eyes closed.

Sol: "Boy, you weren’t lying when you said you weren’t much of a fighter."

Char looks over at the beautiful dark skinned young woman, unsure of how to respond to her insult.

Shelly tries to defuse the situation.

Shelly: "Did you say that you used to surf Charybdis Senpai?"

The defeated Gunner sits back down against the wall.

Char: "Yea, Scylia and I were always in the ocean before this dumb apocalypse. I would surf with my mother, while Scylia and my father were jet ski racers."

Katsu hearing that gets star-eyed and looks back and forth at the brother and sister.

Katsu: "That’s so awesome!"

Saku: "I mean, it’s not team sports but it’s still an impressive athletic ability that takes hard work and practice. So it’s respectable."

Scylia: "Correct! Our parents were always competing across the world in their respective water sports and were on boats doing marine biology research. The two of us were both born on the open sea and then we ended up following in our parents competitive footsteps."

Katsu is infatuated with his Division’s biological siblings backstory.

But, as if both Saku and Sol get the same thought at the same time, Sol stands up and Saku looks around the room.

Saku & Sol: "Where’s Taylor!?"

Shelly gets shocked.

Shelly: "How in the hell, do both of you lose a giant?!"

Sol runs to the door and opens it but TayTay is already reaching for the doorknob on the other side. An arm full of cereal boxes, one open. He smiles seeing Sol open the door for him as if knowing he was there.

TayTay: "MaMa!!!"

Sol lets out a sigh of relief and steps aside for the behemoth to enter.

Sol: "You had me worried Big Guy. Don’t leave without telling me okay?"

TayTay: "MaMa!"

Sol: "I’ll take that as an ’okay’."

But then Saku gets a worried look as Taylor makes eye contact with Friend and drops his bundle of cereal boxes.

TayTay: "Puppy!"

Saku: "Shit! Taylor NO!"

Taylor stops and looks over in the Izanami Division corner. Suddenly the giant man grabs his head and begins rolling on the floor in pain. Saku’s eye twitches while watching Taylor in pain, an unlocking sound is heard by only Saku.

Aiden: "Taylor! Are you ok?"

Sol: "What’s wrong Big Guy?"

Aiden runs to his ex-squadmate but suddenly Taylor’s entire body glows completely white. The two of them back away. His body fat begins turning into well defined athletically cut muscle.

Saku looks around and only sees Itsuka in their corner. He looks around the room for Dom but the Izanami Gunner is nowhere to be found. Then Saku looks as if he’s pieced it together once Taylor stops glowing white and his body, now is shown taller, well over 8 feet tall, still 420+ lbs but more chiseled.

Taylor opens his eyes. His orange eye and 2nd stage eye, with a yellow aura, looks around. Sol is bright red blushing while softly caressing Taylor’s new set of 8 pack abs with the tips of her finger.

Sol: "Wow Big Guy. You- You’re freaking HOT!"

Taylor smiles and then winks. When he speaks it sounds like Taylor and Dom are talking from the same body.

TayTay/Dom: "Well, if that’s how you actually feel, how bout you give me a smooch babygirl?"

Sol screams in terror and a hard slap can be heard connecting.

Taylor.../Dom in his new figure has a red hand imprint on his chiseled face. Everyone in the room, except Saku, is confused.

Sol: "What is going on? Why does the Big Guy sound like that?"

Saku steps up to the new looking giant and EyeEngages.

Saku: "So I guess we can call your IceEye, the ’Fusion Eye’, huh Dom?"

The fusion of Dominic and Taylor nods with a giggle. Katsu runs up star-eyed analyzing from every angle, the results of Dom’s incredibly useful ability.

Katsu: "Ya know, if you’re going to fuze, you’re going to have to rename yourself with a combo name depending on who you fuze with."

Saku shoots a weird look at Katsu.

Saku: "Why?"

Katsu smiles and looks at Shelly, she knows what her nerdy foster brother is referencing.

Katsu: "It’s tradition. Just trust me on this one."

Katsu gives him a glare of confidence.

Saku: "Whatever nerd. Besides, he’s my Gunner. Don’t tell him what to do. Lets finish this 4-0 sweep and get outside, I need fresh air."

Shelly’s fists clench, but she keeps her emotions in.The Gigaman+ stands up and looks at his Division Leader.

Daylor: "I’ll just replace the first letter of the fusion partner’s name, with a ’D’. So when I’m fuzed with Tay, just call me Daylor or Day."

Katsu: "’D’!?!"

Katsu gets extremely star-eyed from the nerdy coincidence of the letter, Shelly giggles forgetting her anger at Saku’s remark.

Sol is cringing at the thought of her accidently calling Dom attractive. Daylor notices and flexes his muscles at her.

Daylor: "What? You were tracing these sweet abs with your finger a minute ago, and now because it’s MY ability that is making Taylor look like this, you’re acting like a teenage girl."

Sol: "I AM, A TEENAGE GIRL YOU IDIOT!"

Sol slaps him again.

Sol: "You aren’t the man who saved me in Son Goku City and you aren’t the sweetheart who calls me his ’MaMa’. Because we don’t know how he’ll handle Friend, I’ll let you control Taylor for now. But once this tournament is over and Friend is safe, you are to deactivate that damn eye ability, and use it on him ONLY when I allow it, do I make myself clear?!"

Saku gets a pissed off look.

Saku: "Aye! Who made you-"

Sol turns to him and her sun colored eyes are burning brighter than ever and her feral growls, combined with the Shelly-like "death stare", sends shivers down every man’s spine in the room.

Shelly and Itsuka both look at each other from across the room, shooting proud smiles from the power of a woman’s love.

Daisuki steps up and everyone gets to their spots on the walls.

Daisuki: "Ladies and Gentlemen!"

Princess Kawaii: "Don’t forget me!!!"

Daisuki: "And our most honorable Princess Kawaii!"

The Princess squeaks and jumps up with a wave to the crowd. Then she sits back down and cuddles next to Friend.

Daisuki: "We are about to begin Round 3! With Izanami leading 2-0."

Katsu looks at Scylia, and the two remaining Izanagi members in the "tournament" EyeEngage. The woman blushes from feeling the same euphoria her brother felt from locking eyes with their Division Leader.

Katsu: "It’s just you and I left Big Sis. I trust you to get our first win. Good luck!"

He holds his arms out for a hug.

Scylia: "I promise, I’ll try my best."

Their Anjell Eyes disengage and she hugs him.

Katsu: "That’s all I can ask for."

They break the embrace and Scylia kisses his cheek making the young man blush.

Scylia: "Shelly’s so lucky to have you in her life, Sweetheart."

She uses the top of her foot to kick up the sparring sword and catches it.As she walks like a model to the center of the room, Daisuki starts her introduction.

Daisuki: "And Izanagi Division has chosen the very beautiful and very stunning, Ms. Scylia!"

She shoots him a wink.

Scylia: "Hopefully soon to be, Mrs. Daisuki."

Saku looks over at Itsuka, they EyeEngage and she swallows her spit nervously. Saku gives her a soft smile.

Saku: "Truth is, I was planning on having you taking on both the girls from the start. I don’t think Taylor would’ve even been able to fight a woman anyway."

Sol has her arms folded and eyes closed.

Sol: "Yea. BECAUSE HE’S A SWEETHEART AND NOT AN ARROGANT JERK!"

Daylor sucks his teeth, agitated.

Saku hands the ’Queen’ of his Division the sparring sword once again. He then pets her head softly, front to back, making her blush.

Saku: "Good luck, Wild Flower."

She kisses his tattoo and makes her way to the center of the foam room.

Shelly gets jealous and is upset, but with herself. With Kawaii and Friend between them, Aiden notices his friend’s gloom.

Aiden: "Are you okay, Shell? You don’t actually have disdain for Itsuka, do you?"

Princess Kawaii: "Is Big Sidder a sore loser like Papa?"

Shelly gets surprised and waves both her hands in front of her to wave off the assumptions.

Shelly: "No. No. It’s not that."

She stares back at the center of the room towards the two female combatants. Itsuka is putting her hair back up in a hair tie.

Shelly: "It’s just, she’s getting praise from Saku for being reliable. That should be me getting praise from Katsu for being able to fight multiple rounds. I’m happy for her, but it’s the same feeling as seeing that ’#2’ next to my name below yours on the academic rankings, Aiden."

Sol gives a worried look at the child with a finger in her mouth, nibbling on her fingernail.

Sol: "What do you mean, ’sore loser like your Papa’, sweetums? Your father doesn’t get mad at you for winning does he?"

Princess Kawaii looks confused. Then the one in the audience with the most Sanpaku seniority chirps in to explain.

Char: "She beats her dad in all the games they play together, so she’s probably misinterpreting her father’s gloominess as bad sportsmanship."

Shelly looks at the little girl with an arm around Friend and gives a comforting smile.

Shelly: "We’re the same when it comes to winning Ms. Princess, I can’t wait to train you someday to carry on the winning tradition. A strong princess is an admirable figure."

The Princess lets out a long and loving squeak. The tiny human leans over the opposite way to cuddle up with her ’Big Sidder’.
