Shattering Humanity-Chapter 84: "Our Creator"

All three of the Takamagahara leaders Katsu, Saku, and Daisuki are in the dark hotel room like bedroom, softly breathing or snoring.

While the two young men have their own beds, Daisuki, now on the floor after passing out in the chair, is snoring in a weird contortion.

Saku is on his stomach, a slight snore, his open mouth in a small puddle of drool, facing to the left and his left arm hanging over the edge of the bed.

Katsu is sleeping silently on his back then turns to his left, scratches his butt, and without losing a wink of sleep, farts.

Daisuki is snoring, then stops as if disturbed from the fart, but it’s his dream.

In his dream he sees something like a laboratory inside of a doomsday bunker. This is nowhere he has seen before.

His POV is panning around the lab room from left to right: He sees what looks like a wall made of star maps and galaxies, red circles in random spots, some with a red X as if the circle was considered incorrect.

The wall in front appears to be solid steel but then becomes a backdrop to a realistic hologram of a rotating Earth.

Finally to the right, dropping from the ceiling, an eye scope of a telescope can be seen. Next to it is a podium made for writing notes, with what appears to be dusty and messy stacks of paper with old notes written on them.

Daisuki’s IceEye shoots open. He wakes up, opening his human eye but it closes immediately after.

A strong migraine and ringing happens to him whenever he tries to open his human eye back up. His body begins to get up from the floor, he tries to speak.

Daisuki: "W-"

The migraine happens again and he stops trying to audibly speak.

Daisuki: *What the hell is going on? I can only see out of my Iceman eye. Is this eye controlling my body by force and using pain so I don’t fight back? This is nothing like when a stronger IceEye user locks eyes with a weaker user!*

As he moves silently towards a bare wall he panics.

Daisuki: *Have we been tricked by Leviathan and he planned on humans taking an IceEye from the beginning? Or is it the symbiote eyes themselves taking over on their own?*

Saku’s IceEye opens without waking the delinquent. Saku silently gets up from the bed and he looks as if he’s sleepwalking with just his Iceman eye open. He doesn’t wake up like Daisuki did. He slowly shuffles to the side of the bed Katsu is out cold on. Unable to see the scene of events behind him, Daisuki continues trying to understand the situation.

Daisuki: *Does that mean anything that happens to me can happen to everyone else with an eye!? I have to fight against whatever this is and warn everyone!*

Saku’s shuffling can barely be heard and Daisuki really begins to worry.

Daisuki: *Saku too!?*

Saku delicately picks up Katsu. Katsu grumbles in his sleep as Saku is walking with him towards where Daisuki is.

Katsu: (yawns) "I had fun at the beach today Mama. I love you."

Saku gets irritated in his sleep and as if he’s responding,

Saku: "Shut up, Ma, I don’t care, it’s just school, leave me the hell alone."

Daisuki’s eye switches to the 2nd stage out of his control. Internally Daisuki finds his resolve,

Daisuki: *"I have... to take this...cursed eye out... before someone gets hurt!*

He struggles to bring his hand up, he’s sweating, the migraine getting stronger the harder he fights, and he grimaces harder.

He then hears someone’s voice but with his own internal dialogue. A portal begins to open. The sound is not coming from it.

Daisuki’s Inner monologue: "Please don’t fight this my child, I beg you! The pain you are receiving is out of my control if you resist. I will explain everything to you, as well as answer all of your questions as a token of my appreciation, in just a few moments."

Daisuki stops fighting his own body from the surprise of what he was seeing on the other side of the fast growing entrance, the same lab/bunker that he just saw in his dream, from the same exact perspective.

Daisuki: *Where the hell is that place? Did my subconscious get hijacked?*

The opening gets as big as a normal doorway then stops. Unlike the portal to all the other places with signs of life, the eerie silence from the unknown side, seems to be making their side more quiet.

Both Daisuki and an unconscious Saku, holding an unconscious Katsu, begin walking towards the opening. Daisuki instinctively tries to fight it and gets the migraine as he goes through first.

Close behind is Saku, but almost like a dog with a long sideways stick in its mouth going through a small gate, as the boys go through, Katsu’s head is shown comically in an oncoming trajectory to be slammed into Daisuki’s wall.

*BUMP!*

Friend perks up his head but Itsuka, still asleep, puts the pup’s head between her chest.

Friend drifts back to sleep.

Cut back to the 3 men in the completely lit room they’ve unwillingly been sent to. The portal is gone behind them.

Katsu, still in Saku’s grasp and is rubbing his head in pain from the sudden wake up call.

Katsu: "Ow what the-"

He opens his eyes and realizes he’s no longer in his bed. He can see only Saku’s open Iceman left eye and calmly asks,

Katsu: "Saku... what are you doing?"

Saku finally wakes up and opens his human eye. He looks around and drops Katsu without realizing he was holding him in the first place.

Katsu shouts as he falls to the ground.

Katsu: "Ah! Dammit!"

Saku looks around and immediately pulls out the combat knife he always sleeps with.

Saku: "WHERE ARE-WHERE THE HELL ARE WE?"

Suddenly as if a shock of lightning went through his body, Saku passes out from incredible pain.

Katsu, realizing his friend is in trouble, rushes over and kneels next to his unconscious squadmate.

Katsu: "Saku?! You good? What happened? Saku!"

Katsu puts his ear to Saku’s chest. There is a clear and steady heartbeat. He looks around and finally sees Daisuki was with them. Daisuki is looking at something in disbelief, mouth slightly agape.

Katsu: "Big Bro what’s going on? Did you bring us here? Where’s Shelly and Itsuka?"

Daisuki doesn’t answer.

Katsu: "BIG BRO!"

Katsu looks in the direction his teacher is fixed on and lets out a silent scream as he falls backwards from his one knee to his ass.

A smaller version of an Iceman but with only one eye, its left eye, with a pink and diamond checkerboard pattern eye. Where its right eye should’ve been and a chunk of its temple and forehead, looks as if something or someone with claws tore its eye out, not caring about the Iceman. The rest of the head is almost pristine surrounding its glistening eye, moving left and right.

The purple and pink, diamond checkerboard pattern that covers the whole eyeball, is the exact replica of the one Leviathan had on the night he started to shatter humanity’s existence.

Unlike their enemy, the texture of this Iceman looks less sharp to the touch and is an incredibly darker "dead" shade of blue. It has small chunks missing all over its torso, arms and legs visibly missing and it sits quietly in an oddly fitting elegant reading chair. Its head is down with a book in its lap as if it was reading.

The Iceman then closes what it was reading and slowly puts the book on a side table. Each movement causes slight damage to the "Elder Iceman".

As his hand moves away from the book, a symbol ☯️ can be seen on the spine of the cover. On the same side table are 4 other books. Each with a single symbol on the spine: ✝️ ✡️ ☪️ ☸️

The Iceman looks directly towards the older human, then, as if wanting Daisuki to acknowledge, the two boys.

In complete fear about his current situation Katsu begins to fight back tears.

Katsu: "Big Bro... Please... Please tell me you know what’s going on."

Daisuki turns to Katsu as if just remembering he was there.

Daisuki: "K- Katsu I haven’t got a single idea what’s going on, but this thing...This thing says it’s our ’Creator.’"
