Shattering Humanity-Chapter 71: "Welcome Home"

Daisuki with his 2nd stage IceEye is focusing on the wall, a deep blue aura coming from it.

Everyone is watching as the hole begins to open, they can start to hear the rumblings and destruction happening outside the high school, and closing in. As soon as it gets big enough for her to jump through, no bigger than an average car passenger window, Itsuka goes to jump through.

Daisuki shouts and she stops.

Daisuki: "Itsuka! No! It’s too dangerous. That building is about to come down and they’re on their way. I trust Saku to get everyone and himself, back safely..."

Her lower back muscles tense up and she turns around with a distraught expression, looking at the man still focusing on using his ability.

Daisuki: "...do you?"

Shelly grabs Itsuka’s shoulder and lightly pulls her back to where her and Katsu were standing off to the side with Scylia, who has a matching deep blue aura coming from her 2nd Stage IceEye.

Katsu: "Yea, I wouldn’t worry about him, Big Sis! It would take more than a building falling on Saku to kill him!"

Itsuka looks down at Friend, wagging its tail in excitement, almost like the pup knows his Master is on the other side of the wall. She looks back up quickly as gymnasium doors can be heard opening on the other side of the hole.

Saku: "Let’s go nerd! Hurry up! It’s over there TayTay!"

Sol: "Right there Big Guy! Follow me!"

Itsuka: "Was that a girl’s voice?"

The hole is about the size of a house window, growing to the floor now, the bottom of the portal 2 feet from the ground.

Daisuki: "Shit! It’s still not big enough for that giant of a man."

Shelly looks back and forth at her mentor and the portal in confusion.

Shelly: "How big IS this guy?"

Sol comes through with her dirty and cut feet wearing her torn, blood stained and dirty flower kimono. She looks around at everyone in the room to greet them and the two girls look at Daisuki, disappointed. Daisuki can feel their cold stares.

Daisuki: "That’s not him, and that’s HIS lil girl friend."

Next through is Dom and Aiden’s clone with the black briefcase. They are both panting while Daisuki smiles still focusing on the portal that’s still slowly getting bigger, the bottom still two feet from the floor.

Daisuki: "Mission Complete Brother. Congratulations."

Aiden’s clone smiles wide and quickly bows, his glasses almost falling off.

Aiden Clone: "Thank you, Sir!"

Scylia deactivates her IceEye and the final clone bursts into snow, which startles Dom, again.

Katsu and Shelly smile, knowing their friend is receiving his clone’s memories of its success. Itsuka however is staring at the hole, a beam of the school gym ceiling can be seen falling and Saku can once again be heard but not seen from the other side.

Saku: "Go ahead TayTay! I’ll be right there!"

Daisuki and Itsuka(irritated): "What could be so important?"

Sol peaks in and looks surprised. She gets away quickly as Taylor and the upper half of his shockingly huge body comes through the opening and the dunce, unaware of the portal NOT being a doorway, trips over the bottom. He falls to the padded door with a loud THUD and the top of his ass crack can be seen.

The sound and shaking of the fall comedically shocks Katsu, Shelly, and Itsuka.

A basketball comes flying into the room from the destructive side right at Katsu and just like when he tries to catch a football, it hits him right in the chest, through his hands, and straight to the floor and bounces. But Katsu keeps the dribble going and starts casually dribbling the ball between his legs with ease. Watching Katsu display another new sport skill makes Shelly blush.

Saku comes in from the right and can be seen looking down at his friend.

Saku: "Come on Tay! And you’re supposed to sag your pants, not your boxers too. Stop mooning me."

Taylor farts.

Saku looks up and EyeEngages with Itsuka on the quiet and peaceful side of the opening, from the side of chaos and destruction falling around them. Taylor gets up, obstructing their gaze between them, forcing their IceEyes to unlock. A giant Iceman’s foot can be seen crashing in from above the door the group entered through. The sound of a metal beam snapping is heard and Saku looks up.

The beam is falling straight down on top of where he’s standing and he jumps back out of instinct. As soon as his back foot gets planted he goes towards the bright opening and jumps head first over the beam that almost killed him, through the portal with Itsuka now standing there and her arms wide open.

His face lands right into her breasts and she stays upright, embracing him tightly. Friend wagging his tail circling them and finds a good spot on the side of Saku’s leg to lean up his warm, furry, body, against his Master. Itsuka’s eyes are closed with tears in them. Saku at first tries pulling away but once Itsuka says...

Itsuka: "Welcome Home, Saku."

Saku’s blushing face goes from embarrassment, to shock and his eyes begin swelling up as the memories of store owners, who knew of his reputation for stealing food yelling at him.

Store Owner: "Get outta here! Nobody wants you around, punk!"

He grits his teeth, fighting back the tears, which makes him bury his face deeper into Itsuka’s chest.

Then the realization that even his own mother never gave him a warm and refreshing greeting back home, hits him and the flood gates open within his green eye that he received from his mother, and the IceEye.

Without caring about who’s around, he silently sobs in the chest of Itsuka’s shirt. While continuing his futile attempts to hold any tears back, still new to the feeling of a warm loving embrace he’s experiencing.

She smiles and rubs his head softly.

Itsuka: "Welcome Home, Saku."

It makes Saku’s heavy breath sobbing, even heavier. Everyone watches in silence at the snapshot of the two, with the final scenes of destruction from the other side Saku was in, is used as a closing backdrop.

Daisuki, with his IceEye now back to its base-kit, a fading blue aura, smirks and Scylia giggles.

Scylia: "It’s kinda poetic, isn’t it?"

Daisuki(quietly): "So much for not wanting to look weak from the emotions of love. Try as hard as you want, but when you truly love someone that loves you back, it can make you the strongest and weakest possible human you can be."

He then gets slowly surprised, as well as Scylia and Dom, since they are intelligent enough to comprehend what they’re looking at as IceEye users, and stand there in shock.

Katsu, once again is looking at an embracing Saku and Itsuka, with an excited "Above Sanpaku" stare while looking at the phenomenon leaving his partners in awe.

With his eyes being hidden by Itsuka’s C-cup sized breasts, they’re unable to see his newly acquired 2nd Stage IceEye creating instant melting snow inside Itsuka’s shirt. A vibrant white and shiny aura with a slight black streak in the center can be seen "blazing" from the closed, crying left eye of Saku.
