Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 666: That Silver Mask
Summer Sutton didn’t dance much; Adrian Walyon was very strict with her, not liking her to shine in places like the dance floor. After Ariella Sawyer dragged her over, she just stayed by her side.
She smiled at her, helped her keep the beat, and incidentally blocked men with ill intentions trying to come over and take advantage.
She quietly stared at Ariella, who looked stunning while dancing, for quite a while, and Summer’s gaze shifted around.
She just wanted to see if other celebrities were here for entertainment as well.
Unexpectedly, while glancing across the hallway, she caught sight of a silver mask.
Exquisite, aloof, with a hint of detachment.
When Summer’s gaze turned there, the masked man just happened to enter the corner.
Summer was a little unsure if she had seen correctly, blinked to confirm; however, upon reopening her eyes, the corridor was empty, and the figure was already gone...
Summer stared blankly at the empty corridor, ready to walk over, but Ariella pulled her back, "What are you looking at? Come on, let’s go drink!"
Not caring whether Summer wanted to or not, Ariella dragged her to the bar.
She ordered two margaritas and started rambling to Summer, "Honestly, in occasions like tonight, I don’t want to be here at all. A bunch of actresses gather, and all they think about is who outshines whom, nothing else in their brain. In a casual setting, no need for formal attire, although they all appear friendly on the surface, don’t think I don’t know what they’re actually thinking."
"Take Airey, for example; look at her bright red lips, as if she just sucked blood, all for standing out in the group photo with her lipstick shade."
"And Selena too, coming out just for a meal, plunging neckline way too low, wasn’t there a saying that big-busted ones are bound to be prominent? Anyone being photographed with her would certainly be overshadowed."
"And that other one, what sort of makeup was that? Coming out at night to scare people? These people go to all lengths to stand out in a crowd."
She downed her cocktail and ordered another.
Summer simply accompanied her in drinking, consumed two cocktails as well.
The margaritas were quite strong.
When Summer initially drank them, she didn’t feel how intense they were; however, with the second hit, she was already dizzy.
"Don’t get drunk!" Ariella noticed the club’s cocktails seemed stronger than regular margaritas; she was about to warn Summer, but suddenly Summer slumped onto the bar, drunk.
Ariella dumbfoundedly stared at her, incredulous that she had just passed out...
"Summer! Wake up!" She shook her head, but couldn’t wake her, causing Ariella to suddenly panic.
What should she do?
She had also had two drinks, driving home was out of the question, what about Summer?
Lorraine Hughes happened to come out of the private room and saw Summer Sutton there, "Miss Sutton had too much to drink?" she was puzzled.
"Yes." Ariella nodded, a bit annoyed as she hit her forehead, "It’s all my fault!"
"How are you planning to get back?" Lorraine gave her a glance, attempting to ask.
Ariella, still relatively clear-minded, instinctively thought of calling Adrian Walyon.
But before she could dial the number, Lorraine smiled and offered, "How about I give you guys a ride home?"
