Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 665: No Man in the World Compares to Him
"I know, in your eyes, no man in the world can compare to Adrian Walyon, right?" Ariella Sawyer gave her a sidelong glance and added another remark.
She was purely teasing, but unexpectedly, Summer Sutton responded earnestly, "Isn’t that so?"
Ariella was caught off guard, fed a mouthful of ’dog food’.
She’s used to seeing the couple flaunt their affection when Adrian is around, but tonight, Adrian wasn’t even here!
These two!
Ariella was particularly speechless towards the couple. She changed the topic and resumed talking about the President of Royal Delight.
"I wonder if our President is as young as the rumors say. What if we meet and it’s some old geezer."
"If he’s an old geezer, so be it. You’re working for him, not planning a life with him." Summer Sutton poked her on the forehead.
"I was just saying casually!" Ariella stuck out her tongue and giggled, chatting with her about other things.
The two of them laughed and chatted all the way, eventually arriving at the gathering place by car.
The gathering tonight was at a club that combined dining and entertainment.
Upon arrival, Summer and Ariella entered a private room.
In the same room, there were several other artists from the company also on the rise.
Lorraine Hughes was originally in another room. Passing by the room where Summer was, she walked in with a smile, "Mind if I join you?"
She spoke with a slight curve at the corners of her lips and a friendly attitude.
With her asking like that, who would have the heart to say no?
"Don’t mind, don’t mind, join us and have a seat!" Ariella nonchalantly pulled out a chair for her.
And so, a large group sat down.
The dinner was lavish, each dish exquisite and luxurious. The company treated generously, with the table almost entirely covered in seafood.
Seated next to Summer Sutton, Lorraine Hughes picked up her chopsticks, just about to start, when Summer, probably bothered by the smell of seafood, suddenly knitted her brows, covered her mouth, and rushed out of the private room.
Everyone at the table was stunned.
Lorraine sat stiffly in her seat, her gaze following the direction Summer left, seemingly dazed for a while.
Summer was gone for about four or five minutes. When she returned to the table and saw everyone staring at her, she calmly explained, "It’s nothing, just caught a slight cold from the chill these days."
"So that’s how it is!" an artist echoed, and the group began to eat.
Lorraine turned her head, unable to resist glancing at Summer Sutton’s stomach.
Was what she said an excuse or the truth? 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
When Summer came tonight, Ariella had briefed her on the significance of tonight’s dinner.
During the meal, out of curiosity, she originally wanted to catch a glimpse of the President of Royal Delight with this group.
But unexpectedly, as the meal was almost finished, there was no sign of the President, nor even a trace of the higher-ups at the door.
Summer’s appetite had indeed been a bit off these past couple of days, and she didn’t eat much at dinner.
Ariella didn’t eat much either. Noticing her put down the chopsticks, she dragged her outside to the dance floor, "Summer, let’s go have some fun!"
She probably didn’t like the atmosphere in the private room, a lot of people who normally competed for resources were all sitting together, only speaking superficial words—it felt so fake.
Leaving the group in the room, dragging Summer Sutton to the dance floor, Ariella and she went wild.
Spinning and dancing on the floor, the two of them became the most dazzling sight in the club that night.
