Saving The Villainous Monster From The Male Lead-Chapter 89 - 88: Hael’s Warning
Without wasting any more time, she had one of the wooden planks also catch fire and stood her ground near the door waiting for it to be opened.
The door opened with a bang, followed by a loud scream of a woman, probably belonging to Verbena. "How did this place catch fire?!" She asked the two men.
One of them entered the room and saw that the chair had burned down completely and couldn’t find Eleanore anywhere. Scared, he turned to Verbena, "The Chair has been burned down completely." he says, sending chills down her spine.
"Did she die?" Although scared, she somewhat felt a bit happy deep down.
Before he could try and answer that question, a wooden plank lit by fire, came from behind and banged into his head. The force was so hard that the plank broke into two pieces. One remained in her and while the other flew away somewhere far.
His hair was on fire and Eleanore even had a little fire get on his clothes. As the heat started to spread through his body, he realised he was on fire. A painful screech traveled through the air, alerting the other two.
Eleanore had prepared the other wooden plank, laced with fire for the remaining rouge that had beaten her so much. It was her revenge. She hit it over him, as he entered but this one was clever. He blocked it with his arms and instead had his arms locked around Eleanore’s throat.

Hael pulled out his sword from his scabbard. It shined and glimmered as the evening rays of the sun entered the room. The hue outside was almost so beautiful that it was actually contrasting with the current situation, inside.
His sharp sword quickly cuts open the rope and frees Marina. She gently pulled out the napkin from her mouth, followed by her coughing that filled the tensed air.
She continued to cough for seconds, when Victor came huffing back to the room.
"She is nowhere." He said in panic and fear.
In the last few minutes, he had searched everywhere, the garden in the west, and in the east. The green house and the side house. Thinking that she might perhaps be in the mansion itself and they might have not noticed her, he also searched through each floor thoroughly.
What might have happened to her while everyone was so busy with Stella? Is she safe? What if she is severely hurt? How did they forget that all these attacks had taken place on her and not Stella?
Victor could only curse himself for his carelessness, under his breath.
"I— cough! —" Marina began, after regaining her lost voice. "—cough! — was not in the room. My lady asked me to look into Lady Verbena and Lady Adena. She doubted they were somehow related to the poisoning event." Her voice was still sore, but she continued. "I— found them nowhere. When I came back someone made me smell something awful and I fell unconscious. Since then, I have been like the way you found me, my lord." She explained.
She crawled and caught one of her master’s legs. "My lord, I think my lady has been kidnapped by them. Please save her." She begged.
"Or maybe she just ran away?" Dean suggests.
"No," Marina argued. "My lady has changed. She said she was going to prove herself innocent. Please—" She turned to Hael again. "Believe me, my lord. My lady would never run away. Please save her."
"Your lady must be lying. She is good at it." Dean said again as he turned to his lord. "How about we return back to the Sinclair mansion, she might probably—" His words were choked in his throat, when Hael’s slightly pink eyes landed on him, filled with furry.
"Shut up! Dean" he said, his words piercing through the heavy air. He shoved Dean aside, as he marched out of the room.
Marina could barely stand back up on her leg, yet she did and rushed out to follow her master. Victor rushed behind them as well.
Standing there, completely stunned, Dean sighed. He knew exactly what was going to happen next. Slowly, he walked forward and made his way to the first floor.
"Where is he?" Hael asked, his voice filled with anger.
"In his room." Victor answered.
Hael didn’t think twice before dashing into Caelestis’ room. The room was in an uproar. Stella was in her bed, unconscious, spitting out blood after every ten minutes and the doctor had lost hope. He didn’t even know what to do next.
Caelestis turned to Hael. His eyes widened, as he clenched his jaw. "What are you doing over here?" He yelled.
Hael, however, was in no mood to answer that meaningless question of his. He raised his sword against his friend. The tip of that sword was barely a centimeter away from his neck. "I have no time to have this useless conversation with you." He speaks.
His friend’s eyes widened in surprise. He couldn’t believe that Hael, whom he considers his family, had raised his sword against him. "Hael—-"
"My sister is missing." He cuts him off.
"What?"
"She is not in her room, or anywhere else in your estate. I left her in your care, and you let something like this happen?"
"Hael— What are you saying? I can’t understand anything." Caelestis is puzzled, he remembers it correctly that he had asked her to remain in her room, what is Hael even trying to say?
"She has been kidnapped under your nose, and you are not even aware of it?!" He puts his sword down. "I regret believing in you."
"How can she be kidnapped? I have had knights everywhere ever since the assassination attempt took place. Hael, please look around again. She must be wandering somewhere, here and there. You—"
"If—" Hael cuts him off again. "If anything happens to her, I will kill you." His voice cracked as he said the latter part. "— and I mean it."
With that he placed his sword back into his scabbard and left the room, in the same speed he had come.
