Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 458: You are my husband
His heart pounded in his chest as he stared at the delicate-looking young man before him, dressed in women’s clothes. The sight was a stark contrast to what he had anticipated. He expected to see his beautiful wife but instead, there was a man with lopsided boobs. His hair was tied up messily, and his clothes, though fastened well, seemed out of place on his slender frame.
Luo Muchen instinctively drew his sword, its sharp blade hovering dangerously close to the young man’s neck. The room fell into an eerie silence, broken only by the soft clinking of the spoon against the bowl as Qie Xieling continued to eat his rice and pork congee, seemingly unfazed by the dire situation.
Luo Muchen’s voice trembled with a mixture of confusion and anger. "Who are you?" he demanded, his grip on the sword tightening.
Qie Xieling, looking surprisingly composed, met his gaze with an unwavering stare. His eyes held a mischievous glint, betraying a hidden secret. With a nonchalant smile, he responded, "Your wife."
Luo Muchen’s mind reeled, struggling to comprehend the unexpected revelation. Questions swirled within him, but his hand remained firm, the sword poised to strike at any moment.
Qie Xieling delicately placed the spoon down, wiping his mouth with a silk handkerchief. Rising from his seat, he moved with a grace that defied his appearance. "You see, appearances can be deceiving," he remarked, his voice tinged with a hint of amusement as he pulled out the fake breasts he had been wearing.
Luo Muchen gritted his teeth his anger rising. He thought of last night how the breasts felt weird but everything else felt real. His tears and his sweet voice when he called out Mu Mu,... his butt... Damn.
"If you won’t tell me who you are then you die!" He said through gritted teeth as he raised his sword to cut him to pieces and vent his anger but then something unexpected happened.
Qie Xieling dodged and in an instant, he was on the other side of the room throwing something at him.
"Luo Muchen if you dare touch me I am going to tell my father," he said throwing the quilt at him.
Luo Muchen took a few steps forward and Qie Xieling ran away. "Who? Clan leader Bi? You can both die together," said Luo Muchen and Qie Xieling threw a slipper at him but of course Luo Muchen slashed it in half.
"No, that’s not my father. You know what never mind. No domestic violence. I am your wife so you can’t hit me," proclaimed Qie Xieling while running for his life.
Luo Muchen was so annoyed. It was like trying to kill a cockroach but it kept hiding in tiny crevices. Just when Luo Muchen climbed over the bed to get to him the door was abruptly pushed open and Bo Ailun entered with Jolie hugging his thigh trying to stop him.
A few minutes ago while Jolie was guarding the door, Bo Ailun showed up and tried to get in. He didn’t know who this young girl was but he thought a simple shove would do the trick but nope. As it turns out she was very difficult to deal with. The two struggled for a while until someone informed him that there was trouble. There was a woman tied to the pond claiming to be the young miss of the Bi family. Worried he used all his strength to bypass her but she still hugged his thighs making it difficult to walk.
"Young master!" he yelled only to find a ger with a very faint red mole at the corner of his eye. "Who is that?!" he exclaimed and Qie Xieling yelled,
"None of your business now stay out of it."
"Young master, there is a girl tied up on a pole next to the pond. She claims to be Bi Yu, the young miss of the Bi family," reported Bo Ailun and the both of them looked at Qie Xieling trying to see if he would refute that crucial piece of information but he didn’t deny it.
"That sounds about right but you are my husband now so don’t you dare think you can ditch me for her," said Qie Xieling before storming towards the door. The other three followed after him. Qie Xieling and Jolie were eager to watch the drama so they followed the raucous. While on their way Qie Xieling’s arm was suddenly grabbed painfully.
He tried to break free but Luo Muchen’s grip was so tight. "Mu Mu, let go," he said and Luo Muchen tightened his grip his eyes raging with anger.
"Don’t call me that!" he roared and Qie Xieling winced in pain.
When they reached the family courtyard a small crowd had gathered and the tension was high. At the centre of it all was a woman clad in black throwing a fit. Qie Xieling sneered when he saw it was Bi Yu making a public spectacle of herself.
Luo Muchen shoved him into the crowd towards the Bi clan and drew his sword. His men followed suit and the tension in the air intensified.
Lee Ya snorted with a big smile on her face. It was obvious she found this entire situation funny. Her father glared at her and she bit her lip but didn’t stop laughing. If anything it made her laugh even louder.
Madam Lee was obviously happy with the turn of events but she was more reserved than her daughter. "How dare you disgrace the Lee family. Granted our young master’s origins are questionable at best but that doesn’t mean you can disgrace us like this," she said further rubbing salt into the wound. She was obviously gloating but who could point their finger and accuse her when she went about it in a roundabout manner?
Master Lee was extremely livid and his anger only intensified when he heard what Bi Yu said next.
"Remind me again what you said he was?" asked Lee Ya for all to hear and Bi Yu was more than eager to share.
"He is a prostitute from a brothel."
Master Lee almost vomited a mouthful of blood hearing this. Luo Muchen turned to look at him and Qie Xieling shrugged his shoulders before saying, "It’sbbetter than robbing or killing people for a living," under his breath only for Luo Muchen to glare at him causing his heart to jolt. He was just as scary as his father when he was pissed. It was terrifying.
