Chapter 406: ... Make him my boyfriend now.

"Maybe I will make him my boyfriend now. He’s quite charming, don’t you think? Since I can’t have you then maybe I should have him." She licked the side of his face lecherously without warning.

Qie Xieling’s body tensed, his skin crawling as if plagued by a thousand tiny insects. Disgust and anger mingled within him, but he refused to show weakness.

Luo Muchen’s jealousy flared up, his voice trembling with anger. "You lay a finger on him, and I swear, I’ll hunt you down to the ends of the galaxy!"

Valria’s lips curled into a malicious smile. She relished the power she held over Luo Muchen, savouring the taste of control. "Oh, Captain Luo, I didn’t know you were possessive. It’s quite entertaining, really."

Her smirk mirrored the cruelty that emanated from her every word. "I understand you are mad at me but you’ve been causing quite a disturbance in my territory," she sneered. "If you want him back in one piece, you better back off from Rion. Stop your booming business, or he dies that is after I have made him my bitch."

Luo Muchen’s eyes never left Qie Xieling’s strained face, their connection unbroken even through the screen. He knew Qie Xieling well enough to recognise that mischievous glint in his eyes, a telltale sign that he was about to do something reckless.

As Valria continued her threats, Qie Xieling’s lips curled into a sly grin. Luo Muchen’s heart skipped a beat. He knew that Qie Xieling was about to unleash chaos, and he needed to act fast.

Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed through the airwaves, causing the video call to abruptly end. Panic surged through his veins. He didn’t know if Qie Xieling was hurt. What had he done to prompt such a scream from Valria?

Without a second thought, he accelerated his hoverbike, weaving through the gates with lightning speed. Plasma bullets whizzed past him, narrowly missing their target. His focus remained unwavering as he gripped his own plasma gun tightly.

As he swerved sharply, a surge of determination coursed through him. With precise aim, he pulled the trigger, sending bolts of searing energy toward Valria’s men. The air crackled with the sound of disintegration as they fell one by one, their cries drowned by the chaos.

Explosions rained from above aim towards the estate but the mansion remained untouched. He fought his way through the remainder of Valria’s stronghold.

He finally burst through the ornate double doors of the mansion, his heart pounding with a mix of adrenaline and anxiety. His gaze swept the dimly lit foyer. The silence within the mansion contrasted sharply with the chaotic scene outside, where sirens blared and gunshots echoed through the estate.

Without wasting a moment, he activated his advanced thermal vision, searching for any signs of life within the sprawling mansion. Upstairs, he detected faint heat signatures, confirming his suspicions that Qie Xieling was being held captive there. Determination ignited within him as he sprinted up the grand staircase, his boots pounding against the polished marble steps.

Meanwhile, Qie Xieling lay paralysed on a hospital bed, his eyes wide open yet unable to move a muscle. His frustration burned deep within him, fueled by the anger that surged through his veins. Despite his immobilized state, his gaze locked on the vile woman who stood before him with a bleeding cut on her cheek.

Valria’s eyes flickered with a twisted mix of satisfaction and malice as she said, "You truly are something... Don’t worry, that won’t deter me," before leaning down and whispering, "I like them feisty ."

Qie Xieling, "!!!"

Now he wished he had slashed her face even more. Valria had injected him with a paralyzing substance after he attacked her. She was very confident that she had effectively neutralized him thus she was acting brazen.

Beneath Qie Xieling’s furious glare his mind was racing plotting his escape and vengeance but what happened next was so unexpected that he almost passed out in anger. She straddled him while she tied her hair up into a bun.

Qie Xieling, "..."

He was wrong. Lee Ya and Bi Yu weren’t crazy at all. This character named Valria was the true psycho.

Just as Valria revelled in her perceived triumph, the sound of pounding footsteps reverberated through the other side. The doors were burst open, and one of her henchmen entered. He ignored their ambiguous posture and whispered something in her ear.

She smiled slyly before saying blow it up. I want him dead. Qie Xieling suddenly realised what she was referring to. Burning with rage he tried to move but his efforts were futile. She laughed seeing him like this. Valria caressed his cheek with a crazed look in his eyes. "Shh shh shh... conserve your energy for later. I need you to clean my pipes well. If you do a good job I promise I won’t kill you."

Qie Xieling almost cried out for his dad like he used to do when he was bullied on the playground. This evil woman was about to bully him and there was no rescue in sight. He swore that if Luo Muchen was too late he would ignore him for the rest of his life. That thought probably stemmed from anger but for now he truly meant it.

Meanwhile, Luo Muchen kicked the doors down and stormed in but there was no Qie Xieling or Valria in sight. In their place were two guards waiting for him with explosives rigging the entire room.

One of them smiled sinisterly before tapping his communicator to trigger the explosion. Before he tapped the screen a hoverbike lowered down in front of the windows and several gas canisters crashed through the glass.

Luo Muchen tapped the side of his face and a helmet appeared out of thin air covering his face.

The two men collapsed to the ground their bodies convulsing. Luo Muchen opened the French doors and summoned his hoverbike while Bo Ailun hovered near the balcony while explaining, "We know where he is."

Luo Muchen was in no mood to talk. He was raging inside like a volcano on the verge of erupting. He got on his hoverbike and said, "Lead the way."

Bo Ailun was seriously worried about Luo Muchen but this wasn’t the right time to talk about it so he led the way.
