Chapter 387: Get out!

Halfway through the journey Qie Xieling suddenly changed his mind. He decided to find an expensive hotel and just watch trashy shows while raiding the mini bar. At least he would be comfortable then.

"I change my mind. Send me to the most expensive and clean hotel available. I am no longer in the mood to mingle," he said and the hover car turned sharply while the holographic image replied,

"As you wish."

The hover car descended before pulling up in front of the tallest tower on Rion. Stepping out onto the sidewalk, Qie Xieling took a deep breath, the cool night air filling his lungs. The air was definitely fresher than the streets they were before, near Club 6.

A three-dimensional woman materialized before him all of a sudden scaring him half to death. She was clad in a shimmering, form-fitting outfit with a scandalously short skirt that accentuated her curves. With a coy smile, she extended her hand toward him, inviting him inside the luxurious hotel.

Qie Xieling, "..."

If this place was a true reflection of the future world then perverts would love it. Nodding politely, he acknowledged her presence and made his way towards the opulent reception area.

A holographic image of a receptionist flickered to life and she smiled gracefully. "Hello, sir. Welcome to the Grand Starlet, a place where all your fantasies can be met. My name is Kelly, how can I help you today?"

Qie Xieling heard the word fantasies and was a little confused. Wasn’t this a regular hotel? His brow arched as he said, "Thanks Kelly. I would like the most expensive room you have," he said and a floating display with several luxurious rooms popped up.

"I will have the royal suite," he said only for the lady to suddenly apologise.

"My apologies sir, it has been reserved for someone else all year round," she said.

"Then whatever is next is fine," he said and the receptionist offered him the presidential suite as an alternative, but just as he was about to accept it, her voice interrupted him.

"Sir," she said, a hint of excitement in her tone, "the royal suite has unexpectedly become available. Would you like to reconsider?"

A smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Sure," he replied. He wasn’t sure about this place and would rather pay for the most expensive room available both for safety and cleanliness.

The receptionist swiftly adjusted his booking, ensuring that he would be granted access to the luxurious royal suite.

After scanning his communicator the holographic receptionist inquired about additional services. "Shall I arrange for food services during your stay, sir?" she asked, her voice tinged with professionalism.

Qie Xieling’s gaze wandered over the menu displayed before him, his appetite piqued by the array of tantalising options. He made his selections, choosing a few delectable items to satisfy his cravings throughout his stay. To be frank, it had nothing to do with cravings. He was just going to stress eat. He desperately needed some comfort food and watch some sad romance drama to soothe himself.

"Sir, would you like some companionship? We have a diverse selection of young women and men readily available."

Qie Xieling, "..."

The word fantasies she mentioned earlier now made sense. He politely declined and made his way to the elevator. As the doors slid open on the top floor, revealing the entrance to the royal suite, his breath caught in his throat.

The suite was a marvel of architectural elegance, exuding an air of sophistication and grandeur. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed a breathtaking panoramic view of the cityscape, its twinkling lights stretching as far as the eye could see. No wonder someone would book this room for an entire year.

He slumped on the bed and exhaled deeply. The bed was so soft. It was like sleeping on clouds. Qie Xieling rolled over and looked at the ceiling his mind wandering to that Valria girl and what Luo Muchen was doing.

Refusing for his thoughts to go there he shook his head only for him to aggravate his wound. That bandit had really kicked him hard.

He decided to take a warm bath so he got up and raided the mini bar. There was an assortment of drinks and wine. He picked one that looked like it could knock him out fast enough and peeled off his clothes before entering the bathroom.

When he settled in the warm water he had a clear view of the city but his mind wasn’t focused on that. He was busy picking the most dog-blooded show he could find. He picked one called Star Crossed With You. From the name alone it was as dog-blooded as it gets.

Twenty minutes in and Qie Xieling was crying. It was just so sad, even sadder than he was. The female lead was treated badly and thrown to a distance star losing everything. The man who saved her ended up dying in a bizarre accident.

While he was wailing in the bathtub like it was a funeral, the door of the hotel room opened and Luo Muchen entered.

He was the one who booked the royal suite all year round for when he does business here. Well, that is after he bought twenty-five per cent of the shares from Valria. When he received a notification that someone wanted to book the royal suite and that someone was Qie Xieling he permitted it.

But as he entered the hotel room the lounge was empty. He moved towards the bedroom, finding it equally deserted. A sense of unease crept over him as he heard faint whimpers coming from the bathroom. Panic surged through his veins, driving him to rush towards the source of the sound. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

He pushed the bathroom door open, his heart pounding in his chest, only to be met with a sight that left him utterly shocked. There, in the bathtub, sat Qie Xieling naked and vulnerable, tears streaming down his face.

At first, Luo Muchen thought it was a woman crying and that Qie Xieling had brought someone here but as the reality sank in, he realised it was Qie Xieling himself.

Qie Xieling quickly covered his chest, his face flushing with embarrassment. "What the fuck are you doing here? Get out!" he exclaimed, his voice laced with anger and frustration.
