"I wonder the same for jackasses like you." Aurianna replied, not turning to look at Ralph and ignoring his glare.

"Amber, my Queen." King Girsal stated, getting up from his seat and walking up to Queen Amber.

"Yes, King Girsal." Amber answered flirtatiously.

Once King Girsal got close to her he said in a cold tone, "Sometimes your stupidity annoys me."

"What!?" Amber gasped in shock as the other concubines giggled. Her face was red with anger as she glared at them, but King Girsal’s cold eyes made her tremble.

"Most of your children are younger than my other concubines, instead of you training them to be smarter and stronger, you’re traumatizing them to be weaker and more stupid," King Girsal’s voice boomed as he glared at Queen Amber.

"Your majesty, what do you mean?! I always train my children well. I even got Ralph and Husae the best tutors!" Queen Amber defended proudly.

"I mean Mavis, she’s already dead." King Girsal stated and Aurianna looked up at him to see him staring at her.

"How is Mavis dead?" Queen Amber asked, looking at King Girsal and the other concubines in shock. She couldn’t believe Mavis was dead.

King Girsal looked at Queen Amber and said casually, "She was stabbed to death by the children in her home."

Queen Amber was in shock. Unable to believe the words of the king, she said, "That’s a lie! Those children love her and she’ll never do anything to let them hate. She loves children!"

"You’re being too much Amber." Cecilia chuckled from afar but Amber could still hear her. Amber glared at Cecilia but she didn’t care and glared back.

"See for yourself if we’re lying," Cecilia said, bringing out something from her storage ring.

"Here are documents that hold disgusting dark files buried by Mavis." Cecilia stated as a gray stone tablet floated towards Amber and she immediately caught it.

Amber with a trembling hand, swiped the screen, quickly scanning through the information being displayed before her. She couldn’t believe the things she was reading, how could she, this was her friend.

"She’s a pedophile who loves to sleep with children, torture them and also use them for experiments." Concubine Momo added and Queen Amber gritted her teeth.

"You’re lying!" She spat, anger sipping into her eyes.

She couldn’t believe the fact that someone whom she considered her friend and of a high standard would be that sort of person.

"Oh, am I? Ask your children then." Concubine Cecilia said with a smug expression and Queen Amber immediately looked at Husae, Ralph then finally at Aurianna.

"Ralph tells her that she’s wrong, Mavis isn’t a pedophile." Amber looked at Ralph with a bit of hope in her eyes.

Ralph looked at Queen Amber and smiled coyly. "I’m actually glad that disgusting woman is dead. I don’t understand why you’re defending her. She tried touching me inappropriately many times but you ignored my complaints."

"What, how can you insult her? She’s my friend, why would she do that to you?" Queen Amber couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She turned to Husae expecting a denial. But what she heard shattered her even more.

"Mother, he’s right." Husae added in Ralph’s defense, and Queen Amber’s eyes widened in shock. Even her own children were against her.

"No, you’re lying, you’re lying!" She turned to Aurianna. "Tell them they’re lying."

"Amber, are you seriously asking Aurianna, she’s literally the one who witnessed Mavis’s death." Cecilia stated.

"Why didn’t you let your divine knights stop those children?" Queen Amber asked Aurianna, grabbing her arms and squeezing them.

"Mummy, Mavis tried to touch me weirdly and I felt uncomfortable, despite telling her to stop she didn’t listen!" Aurianna said innocently.

"What if she’s a bit touchy?"

"Phos, phos, phos," a young melodious voice laughed, and before Amber appeared a woman holding an umbrella despite being indoors. "Amber, that’s enough, you’re embarrassing yourself. Are you saying your daughter should have let Mavis have her way with her and be traumatized for life?"

"Shut up Ezra, how dare a mere concubine speak to me in such a way?" Queen Amber got up and yelled at her.

"Phos, phos, phos, Amber don’t dare look down on me. I’m not the one with the sick friend." Ezra boomed and the entire throne room shook.

She raised her umbrella to reveal herself. She was a petite bronze-skinned woman with two long black pigtails. Her beautiful round red eyes glared upwards at Queen Amber. She wore a gray jumpsuit and a pair of snow boots. Even the umbrella in her hands was blinking its black beady eyes and was also glaring at Amber.

"King Girsal please speak up for me." Amber turned towards King Girsal and clutched her dress.

King Girsal walked up to Amber and placed his palm on her cheek. "Just accept you’re wrong, Amber."

Amber immediately glared at King Girsal, despite being wrong she didn’t want to accept it.

"Sigh, apart from being obnoxious and lazy, you’re also a bad mother on top of all that." Ezra sighed. "Does this great nation really need a queen like you?"

"I am not a bad mother! I have done nothing wrong!" Queen Amber’s voice wavers with anger. "I am a great queen! You’re just jealous of me and are trying to set me up!"

The other concubines chuckle at this sudden outburst from Queen Amber. The sound of it echoed throughout the throne room. Queen Amber’s aura was clearly flaring.

’I’ve finally gotten a chance to bring you down, do you think I’ll let that slide so easily?’ Concubine Cecilia thought as she stared at Queen Amber unfazed.

After all the time Queen Amber has been punishing them for no sensible reason and humiliating them, it’s finally time for her to have a taste of her own medicine at its finest.

Queen Amber felt her face flush red with rage. She tried to keep calm by taking deep breaths, but she was still seething inside.

Amber turns towards her King Girsal. "I always do the best for my children," she says softly. Her tone softened slightly as she continued, "I believe I’m a better mother than those whores."

Cecilia and the other concubines glared at Amber who crossed her arms and raised her chin high.

"Are you kidding me?" Aurianna snapped at Queen Amber angrily. "You’re telling me that you ignoring us, and giving us dumb teachers or a perverted teacher is being a better mother?"

Surprised by Aurianna’s sudden manner of speaking, Queen Amber was taken aback, unable to say a thing.

"Come on, that must be one of the dumbest jokes I’ve ever heard." Aurianna continued, not wanting to hide herself anymore.

"Aurianna, you shouldn’t speak to mother that way." Husae looked at Aurianna nervously but Aurianna raised her hand shushing him.

"Don’t tell me you aren’t fed up too?" Aurianna said looking at Husae, and Husae and Ralph were a bit angry.

Husae scratched his chin and looked at Queen Amber and King Girsal nervously, "To be honest I’m also fed up with your behavior, mother. Bringing me all sorts of ladies when I’m not interested in a relationship. I’m just seventeen years old and even Wein who’s fifty-seven years old isn’t in a relationship. I just want to focus on my studies than being bothered with unknown ladies."

"You!! Don’t you guys like being surrounded by women?"

"I don’t mum, neither do I want to be surrounded by guys. I just want to study and aid my older siblings."

"Same. Always placing me in those princely classes is such a pain, and Mavis too was a creep." Ralph added shrugging and Queen Amber clenched her clothing tightly.

"Amber will be confined in her chambers until I decide she can come out." King Girsal announced and two platinum female knights grabbed Queen Amber.

"You can punish me, King Girsal, but I’ll tell my father!" Amber threatened smirking at King Girsal. "You know you’re nothing against him, a great emperor!!"

King Girsal frowned and looked away from her and added, "Also, take away all her communication devices."

"Girsal, when my father hears about this, you’ll be begging at my feet!" Amber yelled as she was being dragged away.

"I don’t think so," Aurianna mumbled glaring at Queen Amber who was being dragged away by the knights.

"Ohh, why’s that?" Eva asked curiously with a cunning smile.

"Because King Girsal destroys the Mena Empire later. So he didn’t care about Queen Amber anymore." Aurianna said to Eva in her mind.

Once Queen Amber was gone Aurianna turned her attention towards King Girsal who walked towards her and crouched.

"Aurianna, what do you feel about your etiquette teacher’s death?"

"She deserved what happened to her." Aurianna stated coldly and a slight smile spread across King Girsal’s face

"I heard from your knights that you were the last person to visit her home before she died. Is that true?"

"It is."

"Is she telling the truth, Wein?" King Girsal asked, staring at Wein behind him.

Wein was a beautiful brown-skinned lady with lovely black long dreadlocks up to her back with a pair of light emerald green eyes. She looked just the same as she did in Aurianna’s past life.

She stared at Aurianna for some time before looking at King Girsal.

"She’s not lying." she confirmed and King Girsal nodded.

"So did you kill her?" King Girsal asked, his eyes turning a bit icy as he stared at Aurianna.

Aurianna’s hands started to tremble, she felt as though a weight was placed on top of her as she stared at King Girsal. However, she looked him straight in the eye and stated, "I won’t say I killed her."

"Oh, so what happened?"

"I found out that even though she’s a pretty lady, she’s a nasty pedophile. She even tried to make a move on me, so all I did was give the slaves in her home a chance to kill her." Aurianna smiled coldly, tilting her head a bit.

King Girsal peered at her for a few seconds before getting up. "I see. I surely can’t have such a person in power be so disgusting and outrageous. You did a good job."

"Thank you father. Also she was conducting inhumane experiments. I have proof."

"Do show me."

Aurianna picked out the recording cube from her dress and handed it over to King Girsal.

King Girsal took the cube and said, "Play."

The cube immediately floated out of his hand and a bright screen appeared in the middle of the room.

It showed Aurianna going the stairs and walking towards the room where she found the experiments and revealed all the monsters and the children’s body parts.

Everyone in the throne room looked at the video unfazed and Aurianna wasn’t surprised either. The parts of her throwing up and killing the monsters were omitted and the video immediately switched to the parts where Mavis was stabbed to death. And her cries of pain, her asking for forgiveness, and her cursing vibrated throughout the room.

"She deserved what was coming her way." Cecilia spat and the other concubines nodded in agreement.

"Yes, yes. The correct justice was for her to die." Momo nodded.

"You did a good job Aurianna," King Girsal beamed at her and patted her on the head.

"Thank you for the praise daddy." Aurianna gave an innocent smile and bowed slightly.

She then turned around and left the throne room not noticing King Girsal’s eyes on her.

"Aurianna, wait!!"

Hearing a familiar voice Aurianna turned around to see Wein running towards her looking worried.

"Aurianna I hope you’re alright." Wein asked and Aurianna nodded with a slight but distant smile, "Yes Wein I’m fine."

"I’m just worried about you sister."

"As you can see I’m doing quite well. So there’s no need to worry since I won’t be easily bullied."

"Yes, that is a good thing, but just be careful. Don’t do anything foolish like this unless you tell one of your older siblings," Wein warned Aurianna.

"Why’s that?" Aurianna asked curiously.

"Aurianna, father may be smiling at you now, but if you make a wrong decision he will crush your head." Wein stated and Aurianna almost trembled. Of course, she knew what the kind of man King Girsal was.

"I understand." Aurianna smiled at Wein.

"That’s good." Wein smiled back before walking away.

’To think Wein was quite good, a pity that I’m going to kill her.’ Aurianna thought as she watched Wein walk away.

"Eva, do you think it was a good idea for me to go ballistic like that?"

"I won’t question your decision. I think revealing your normal personality was a good idea, instead of keeping up that sweet princess act." Eva gave a thumbs up as she appeared before Aurianna. "I’d probably fall sick from seeing you act cute."

"What do you mean by that?" Aurianna placed her hand on her waist and pouted.

The knight standing by the pillar looked at Aurianna confused because she was just standing there and pouting.

"So what would you do next? Wanna train in the training grounds?" Eva asked and Aurianna shook her head.

"I think I’ll still pass on that."
