Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 46 - 33: Operation Death of the Pervert 4 { Futile Struggle }
Gura couldnโt help but question Auriannaโs motives, "Why would you help us, human?"
Aurianna looked at her, and grinned "Because, I donโt like her as well, I didnโt do it to save you. I did it, so you would stop bugging me." ๐ฏ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ต.๐ฌ๐ธ๐
"Please can I request the Rose too? I promise Iโll bring it right back!" Gura eagerly spoke up, her eyes fixed on the Crystalline Rose in Auriannaโs hand.
"Sure thing," Aurianna replied casually, passing the rose over to Gura. "Just place it on their collars like I did."
Gura couldnโt contain her excitement as Aurianna handed her the rose. Auriannaโs quick thinking impressed Eva, who couldnโt help but praise her. "Nice move, Aurianna. How did you know the Crystalline Rose would work?"
Aurianna shrugged nonchalantly. "Honestly, I didnโt. I just had a hunch and thought it was worth a shot."
Eva gave her a blank look, a hint of disappointment flickering in her expression. "Youโre something else, you know that?"
"Chi,chi," Aurianna chuckled. "But it worked, didnโt it?"
Eva shook her head with a smile. "I canโt argue with that."
Meanwhile, Gura and Claw, now free from Mavisโs control, caught Evaโs attention. "So, why did you free these Floop teenagers?" Eva asked, pointing at the two winged beings.
Aurianna explained, "Theyโre from a race thatโs naturally born fighters. And from their battle strength I realized that Iโm physically weaker compared to them. So then I immediately knew I couldnโt beat them in a fight now, especially in this closed space, so I decided to set them free instead. I am quite surprised that Mavis was able to capture two of them, which caught me off guard."
Eva raised an eyebrow, impressed by Auriannaโs quick decision-making skills once again. "So your brain only starts to function properly when you have a correct goal?"
Aurianna grinned proudly. "Can you blame me? when one is in a tight spot, they have to think fast and act even faster."
Suddenly their conversation was interrupted when they heard an angry voice, "Why should we leave this human child alive? She is a princess, she could report us. We can just kill her and Mavis now," Claw suggested, staring at Aurianna with hateful eyes.
"Think twice about that," Aurianna warned with a serious tone. "Iโve got my Divine Knights watching my back. And if my life energy went out, they would rush here and slaughter you all. Theyโre Holy Humans, one of the strongest humans in this Kingdom."
Claw gritted his teeth, visibly taken aback by the revelation. He had no intention of tangling with a bunch of Holy Humans, that was for sure. "Tch," he muttered, clicking his tongue in frustration.
Gura, on the other hand, approached her brother, speaking calmly and supported Auriannaโs stance. "Come on, brother, sheโs right. Letโs free the others and get out of here."
Claw grumbled but eventually nodded in agreement. "Fine, but weโll remember this, princess."
Aurianna simply smirked. "As if I care what you remember. Just stay out of my way, and we wonโt have any problems."
"Free which others? None of you have the right to leave, especially you slaves! I bought you with money, so you belong to me. No one would have treated you better than I would have. Leave this place, and Iโll hunt you all down," Mavis threatened, her voice dripping with arrogance, but to her dismay, they paid her no mind and simply walked away.
"And as if you would be alive to do that," Aurianna sneered, and with precise aim, she fired her rifle, hitting both of Mavisโs legs.
Mavis let out a painful cry as she collapsed to the ground. Despite her hateful glares, Aurianna remained unfazed as she grabbed Mavis by the hair and dragged her through the halls, where servant children toiled away.
Mavis, desperate for help, yelled out to the other kids, "You all, help me!"
Their eyes met, but it was like talking to a brick wall. Not a single one of them even flinched or bothered to lend a hand. Instead, they just stared at her with ice-cold gazes. It dawned on Mavis that they didnโt have their chokers on anymore. They were free!
Aurianna reached out to Eva through their telepathic link. "Eva, whereโs the place with the most life energy?"
Eva responded promptly, providing a mental map of the area. "Go down the hall, turn left, and youโll find an underground passage. It leads to a large room that seems to hold a significant concentration of life energy."
A wicked smirk crossed Auriannaโs face. "Ah, that must be where she keeps all the slaves. Well then, Iโve got an idea. I might as well give her to them as a present."
Auriannaโs hands clenched Mavisโs hair tightly as she was dragged through the halls, ignoring her protests and cries. Mavisโs blood tainted the gray marble floors, but Aurianna didnโt care. Her face was cold the entire time.
Aurianna finally reached a dead end. A wall was before her and she squinted her eyes as though she were looking for something. Her eyes suddenly widened, and she pressed a tile, which caused the walls to tremble. Suddenly, the walls split open and revealed a spiral staircase going down.
"How did you know?" Mavis muttered as she stared at Aurianna in shock. Aurianna then summoned the recording cube, which caused Mavis to grit her teeth.
โI canโt let her do what she wants,โ Mavis thought as she tapped the ring on her hand without Aurianna noticing.
As Mavis was being dragged down the stairs she cried in pain, but she didnโt care, she pulled out a pen and immediately used it to stab Auriannaโs leg.
Aurianna hissed in pain and jumped back, and she turned to see Mavis smirking.
Aurianna looked down at her leg to see a black substance oozing into her skin. She stumbled as the walls seemed to be blending together and Mavisโs body seemed to be twisting with the walls.
"How could a pen pierce into my skin?" Aurianna wondered, looking at the pen in Mavisโs hands and a system screen popped up.
[ Mechanical insertion pen Level 60 ]
"Wtf, even a pen can have a level?" Aurianna cursed, clenching her head. She felt as though her mind was tearing apart.
"Well, it could have been made by a high-level Thinker or Mechanic," Eva stated as she watched Aurianna clench her head in pain.
Aurianna struggled to look up at Mavis and asked coldly, "What did you place in me?"
"Like Iโll tell you?" Mavis sneered with a smirk, "All I know is that in a few seconds youโll either turn into a monster that would obey my command or convulse and faint. I have also pressed my beacon so in a few seconds, this place would flood with my men. All those fucking slaves who think theyโre smarter than me would receive the consequences of their action of wanting to escape. Iโll kill them off and buy a new batch. And you my dear princess, youโll be in big trouble with your father once I tell him you attacked me like a maniac. Heโll believe it due to your change in behavior."
Aurianna slumped on the ground and coughed heavily. She placed her hand over her mouth and removed it to see black blood.
[ You have been infected with Black Playtime ]
"Shit," Aurianna seethed, "And you think if my father finds out that Iโve been turned into a monster, heโll let you live?"
"You surprise me more and more with your intelligence, princess. I mean, youโre just seven years old," Mavis chuckled as she used her pen to stab into her battered leg. A black slime covered her leg, and her face seemed to brighten up. "And also to answer your question. Your father would probably not kill me, since my experiments can benefit the kingdom in war. And I can make you normal later. If the Play Time virus hasnโt infected your entire body."
[ You have gained Poison resistance level 1 ]
โGreat! Not like that would be quick to save me,โ Aurianna thought as she felt her hands weak, her mind felt fuzzy, and her vision was getting more blurry.
โEva, some advice or assistance would be helpful,โ Aurianna asked Eva in her head.
โI donโt want to directly help you. And trying to solve situations yourself would boost your intelligence. So, I can only give advice. Why not fuse with the black playtime?โ Eva suggested looking at Aurianna who scrunched up her face hearing Evaโs words.
โAre you serious? Didnโt you see what happened to the others?โ
โBut youโre of a Diamond race, maybe it can benefit,โ Eva nodded.
โHow can I trust your words?โ Aurianna asked, raising an eyebrow.
โDarling, Iโm someone who used to be a goddess and has lived enough to know you can trust me,โ Eva beamed, but Aurianna still had a skeptical look.
[ Would you like to fuse with the Black Playtime? ] A white screen popped up before Aurianna.
[ Yes/ No ]
"Yes," Aurianna mumbled lightly, her throat felt like electricity mixed with needles were placed inside.
All of a sudden, black lines began to spread around her body. Aurianna felt like her body was being sliced up by hot knives and like over a thousand fire ants gnawing at her skin. Aurianna turned and coughed up more black blood. Mavis, on the other hand, didnโt seem to care as she was staring at her pen.
[ You have fused with Black Playtime. Since youโre a Diamond, there would be no change in your physical appearance, but you would just gain the skills of the Black Playtime. ] A screen appeared before dissipating.
Mavis had an anxious look on her face as she stared at the top of the stairs, as though she were waiting for someone.
"What is taking those bastards so long?" Mavis yelled in frustration because after several minutes she hadnโt heard any screams or thumping of heavy feet.
Mavis tapped her ring again and picked out a white jade stone and yelled, "Where are you Maintenance Squad?!!"
_____________
"Maintenance Squad, where the hell are you?!!" Mavisโs voice came out of a white jade stone covered in blood.
In front of Mavisโs mansion was a group of over fifty dead men lying on the ground covered in blood and their body sliced apart.
Four knights in golden armor stood there holding their bloody weapons as they looked at the bloodshed unfazed.
"King Girsal is going to ask us a lot of questions," a deep male voice hooked under the helmet as he stared at the other knights.
"Ugh, Ronald, I donโt want to be questioned," Another male knight whined as he squatted and rubbed his finger on the ground.
"I understand you, Klark. We just slaughtered fifty-three men under the princessโs orders," the female knight nodded, and so did the others.
"But Jenna, should we have taken her orders seriously, though?" Another female knight asked, staring at Jenna.
"Remi, think about it. All the time weโve been watching her, do you think she wasnโt serious?" Jenna asked sternly, and Remi shook her head left and right.
Jenna raised her large axe which immediately disappeared before turning towards the other knights, "I just donโt want to get on her bad side. If she gets stronger than me in the future, I donโt want to end up as a dead woman."
"Youโre right sis, letโs stand in front of the gate and make sure no one enters," Ronald stated, and the others nodded before walking towards the front gate filled with dead bodies.
Klark waved his hand as the bodies started to burn with a bright purple flame, turning their bodies into dust in a few seconds.
The knights stood before the front gates upright, almost looking like still statues.
"My, I wonder what the Divine Knights of Sandeph are doing here?" An old lady passing by asked as she stopped before the knights, smiling.
"Just doing our job, miss," Jenna said in a voice a bit joyful.
The old lady smiled and picked up a rubber bag before raising it up to the knights, "Oh, have some cookies for your hard work."
"Iโd really appreciate that, but we canโt accept these cookies," Roland refused, giving the cookies back to the old lady.
"You wonโt eat this old grannyโs cookies?" the old lady asked, looking a bit disappointed.
"If you guys wonโt eat, then more for me," Klark snatched the cookies from the old lady and stuffed some into his mouth. Seeing the knight eat her cookies caused the old lady to brighten up.
"Hope your day goes well Divine knights," the old lady waved as she began walking away, and the knights waved back.
"Thanks for the cookies and have a good day, granny," Klark yelled at the old woman happily as he removed his helmet to chew his cookies well. He has beautiful rich brown skin and a pair of beautiful black eyes. His blonde hair floated upwards, but him eating cookies gave him a childish look.
"Is it poisoned?" Remi asked and Klark shook his head.
"Itโs not Remi, and theyโre great. Better than my mumโs cookies," Klark confessed while eating happily.
"Donโt insult your mom Klark," Roland warned, glaring at Klark who looked away.
"I wonder what the princess is doing there?" Jenna asked, staring at Mavisโs mansion.
"Same, I can smell a hint of blood," Roland added, also staring at the mansion.
"Should we go in?" Klark asked, eating the last of the cookies before burning the rubber bag and placing his helmet on.
"As long as the princess is not in danger, thereโs no need," Remi stated and leaned on the front gate walls.
_________
"What the hell is going on with those bastards?" Mavis wondered as she kept on looking at the white jade stone in her hand.
"I thought your men were coming," Aurianna sneered. She rolled her shoulder, trying to work out the aching stiffness.
"You, how the hell?" Mavisโs face was filled with confusion as she stared at Aurianna who seemed perfectly fine.
"Iโm perfectly fine. Maybe Iโm just special. I wonder what happened to all those big words of yours," Aurianna said in a mocking tone as she looked down at Mavis. "Now can we continue from where we were?" Aurianna asked, materializing a shotgun.
"Oh yes, I must also get rid of your arms, theyโre such a pain," Aurianna said and immediately used the shotgun to blast off both Mavisโs arms.
"Arghh," Mavis cried in pain, tears flowing down her eyes and ruining her makeup.
Mavis bit her lower lip and glared at Aurianna, but she didnโt care and grabbed Mavisโs long hair once again and walked down the stairs.
"What the hell are you planning on bringing me here?" Mavis asked as they were now before a huge metallic door.
"Youโll know once we are there," Aurianna said as she walked towards the right side of the door with many patterns.
โWhy the hell did she make such a lock?โ Aurianna questioned as she looked at the lock confused.
"Oh, this is quite complex. I donโt expect less from a Thinker Class," Eva nodded, looking at the lock.
"So, can you unlock it?" Aurianna asked, staring at Eva.
"Of course, I can, this kind of lock is nothing but childโs play for me," Eva proclaimed proudly and Aurianna just rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, you are smart after all," Aurianna replied blankly.
Eva looked at the wall before saying and pointing at certain signs in a chronological order, "Just press these signs โ โงโ โฝโ*โ .โ โง**๏พโ +๊ฐโ โ ."
"I could barely see them," Aurianna nodded, surprised by Evaโs way of figuring out the code quickly.
Aurianna immediately tapped the code and stepped back. Sounds of devices moving could be heard for a few seconds, but the door didnโt open yet.
"Eva, are you certain that was the code?" Aurianna asked, looking at Eva a bit disappointed.
"Iโm not wrong," Eva stated firmly, crossing her arms. Her face tensed up a bit as she looked above and warned Aurianna, "Aurianna immediately dodge left right now!!"
Sensing the panic in Evaโs voice, Aurianna immediately used all her strength to jump ten meters to the left. In a few seconds, a large square boulder fell down where she was standing before going up again.
Aurianna trembled in shock as she watched the boulder go up before the door before then opened. She stared at Mavis, who made an ugly expression.
โWhy didnโt she just stand there? And how does she know my code?โ Mavis thought as glared at Aurianna.
Aurianna got up and brushed the dust off her dress and walked up to Mavis with an annoyed look, "You just canโt quit with all this struggle? Donโt you understand itโs hopeless? You wonโt be able to escape."
Mavis said nothing, but just glared at Aurianna.
Aurianna wasnโt concerned about Mavisโs discomfort and walked into the room. Once She and Mavis entered the room, the place was lit up with a dim white light that revealed over a hundred children cuddling together. All of them had collars on their necks.
Mavisโs eyes widened, and a smile spread across her face.
"Come help me!" Mavisโs voice echoed across the room and the children seemed to glow as they surrounded Aurianna who held Mavis by her hair.
"Gya, gya, gya, Princess, I advise you to give up. Thereโs no way for you to win now," Mavis laughed.
"Do you want to kill her?" Aurianna asked, pulling Mavis before her, and the glow in the childrenโs eyes seemed to disappear.
"Letโs put it to the test, Mavis. Can their slave collars control their will to stop me or their hatred to kill you?" Aurianna said to Mavis with an evil smile, which caused Mavis to shiver.
"Aurianna, if you do this, youโre going to regret it. Your father needs me!!" Mavis yelled at Aurianna with red eyes.
"Actually, he doesnโt. Do you think youโre the only Thinker Class in this entire Kingdom?" Aurianna asked coldly, which caused Mavisโs face to darken.
โThatโs why my father could easily dispose of you in my past life to keep his image,โ Aurianna thought as she remembered Mavisโs death in her past life. King Girsal didnโt even bat an eye before asking her to be killed.
Aurianna threw Mavisโs body toward the group of children and summoned several Crystalline Roses. She closed her brows and squeezed her brows, and the roses started to change into a shape of many daggers. Aurianna breathed heavily, her forehead covered in sweat. She then threw the crystal knives on the ground as the children stared at them confused.
[ Crystalline Rose has increased to level 2 ]
"If you want to be free, place it on your collars," Aurianna stated, pointing at their necks. Most of the children looked at each hesitantly, but one walked forward and grabbed a knife. He placed it on his collar, and his collar turned into a crystal and shattered. He smiled in joy and looked at the other children. Seeing that he was okay, the rest rushed to grab knives and shared them with each other to destroy their collars and all glared at Mavis.
"Sheโs all yours," Aurianna stepped back and picked out the recording cube from her dress as it started to record the scene before her, "You can vent out your frustrations on her."
All the children glared at Mavis and walked towards her holding their knives high before stabbing it into her body. Mavis screamed in pain, but they didnโt care. A smile spread across their faces as they saw Mavis suffer. Some sliced off her skin slowly, others slowly stabbed her eyes, while others kicked her.
โSince she is a level seventy human being she had more endurance and vitality than others, so she wouldnโt be able to die quickly but the pain of being cut and tortured alive would be a nightmare,โ Aurianna stared at the bloody scenes not realizing the sadistic grin across her face.
After a while, Mavisโs screams stopped and all that was left was a battered mess of blood and flesh. The two Floop siblings immediately appeared behind Aurianna as they stared at the children covered in blood. Aurianna placed the recording cube back into her inventory and breathed in relief.
"So Mavis is dead?" Claw asked, looking at Aurianna and she nodded.
"I canโt decide whether I should thank you or not," Gura said, looking at Aurianna.
"Thereโs no need. I was doing this for my own selfish reason," Aurianna turned to look up at Gura and smiled.
"For a human child like, youโre unbelievably smart and strong. But you canโt compare to our royal family though," Claw chuckled as he walked towards the group of children.
He clasped his hands together as a portal appeared before them. Aurianna stared at the portal in shock, "I thought portals can only be created by scrolls!"
"Well, your race canโt create some. Now then everyone if we want to escape quickly enter the portal," Claw instructed and the children nodded and quickly jumped in.
"They have a lot of trust in you two," Aurianna commented, seeing the children get into the portal.
Gura nodded as she stared at Claw helping the children, "Yes, because we have been here the longest, and experienced the pain these children have gone through. Thank you for helping us."
Gura smiled before jumping into the portal with Claw, leaving only Aurianna in the empty room with Mavisโs dead body.
