Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 156 - 142: War with the Infinite Nation 4
Abed quickly joined in, wielding his scythe as he lunged at the Bard slashing his scythe at her. Swiftly, she stopped Abed’s attack, her body trembling as she glared at the colossal golem.
As her gaze swept across the battlefield, she couldn’t ignore the grim sight – knights lay lifeless on the ground, their blood staining the earth. The Bard’s thoughts raced: "If I don’t kill this monster now, the lives of my people would be at stake!"
"Absolute Tale," the Bard began to sing and in an instant, her body was enveloped in shimmering golden armor adorned with musical notes. Above her in the skies, golem women raised their hands in prayer as they began to sing. Their voices transformed into physical attacks, restraining Nia and Abed before unleashing explosive attacks on them.
"To think they sent such a monster to fight us," Aurianna commented as she observed the large explosions taking place afar with her golems. "Well I’m just lucky to have Round Table!"
"Wings Of Seraphim," Aurianna willed, conjuring two majestic white crystal wings on her back and a radiant halo with twelve eyes hovering above her head. The battlefield was bathed in a dazzling white light. Miraculously, all the dead knights of Sandeph began to heal at an abnormal rate and revived.
One bewildered knight muttered, "How am I alive? I was certain I had died."
"The princess is using Saintess magic?!" Shouted a knight, which caused the attention of the newly revived knights to be on her. Due to Aurianna’s charisma it was easy to spot her in the crowd of panicked knights.
Amid the chaos, Aurianna exclaimed, "Don’t panic! You all got flustered at the sight of an Arc Human and lost sight of our plan."
Aurianna’s knights exchanged knowing glances, silently thinking, ’Well, you are the one who didn’t follow the plan first.’
Eva’s voice echoed in Aurianna’s mind, reminding her, "You didn’t exactly follow the plan first either."
Aurianna retorted, "That’s not the point, Eva!"
Aurianna shouted, "Let’s not lose sight of our objective. We’re here to win this war and return as victors. Don’t let Sandeph HighLand down! Don’t let our people down! If you dare make us lose and you come back alive, I’ll make sure to kill you all myself!!" She glared at them.
"Yes princess!!" The knights yelled, raising their weapons as they had gained motivation to continue fighting. Melissa, whose burnt marks were now healed thanks to Aurianna’s magic, asked, "Princess, those gigantic golems, Nia and Abed, are under your command, right?" Melissa knew their names since she heard Aurianna say them. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Aurianna raised an eyebrow, quipping, "Of course they are! What kind of dumb question is that? Did you not see me summon them?"
Melissa nodded, "I did, but I wanted to confirm."
Duke Anya, perched beside Aurianna on her floating staff, mused, "How can they hold off an Arc Human?"
Aurianna confessed, "I have no idea. I summon them, and they drain my mana like crazy, an abnormal rate I say. So if we want to win, you all better act fast. Once I pass out, it’s all over, and I don’t think I can last much longer."
The realization sent shivers down Melissa and Anya’s spines. Antya fretted, thinking, "If she passes out, we’ll have to deal with the Arc Human. And that barrier is preventing anyone else from intervening. Me and Melissa are near awakening into an Arc Human, but we can’t fight a veteran Arc Human."
Melissa’s eyes lit up as she noticed her healed hands, "My arm is completely healed! Princess, are you a Saintess?"
Aurianna replied casually, "Nope, I just have healing and revival magic."
A puzzled Melissa asked, "But how is that possible? Your powers are identical to the other Saintesses."
Before Aurianna could respond, a deadly crescent slash of wind tore through the ground causing it to melt like lava, claiming the lives of many knights at once.
Aurianna reprimanded Nia, "I told you to be careful with how you swing that sword!"
Antya intervened, stating, "This isn’t the time or place for this discussion. We can talk about it later."
Melissa suggested, "In the meantime, let’s put Aurianna’s powers to good use and use it to our advantage. The healers are reluctant to join the war, and we can’t force them, or else their abilities won’t work."
"Knights of Sandeph, you’ve got no reason to fear death now, because the princess wields high level healing magic and revival magic! So fight without fear and give it all you’ve got!!" Antya’s voice thundered across the battlefield, rallying the Sandeph knights.
In unison, the knights roared, "Yes, Duke Antya!" They tightened their grips on their weapons and charged recklessly. Since they had a healer, it outweighed any concern they had for their own safety. They broke through the enemy’s defenses, losing body parts in the process. Yet, thanks to Aurianna’s powers, their fatal injuries were swiftly regenerated, leaving the enemy knights at a large disadvantage.
Aurianna chugged down ten mana potions in a hurry. "Reviving so many people really drains my mana, but I need them. My body feels like crap after summoning Nia and Abed," she grumbled while scanning the battlefield, where explosions and magical blasts filled the land.

In a lavish pink chamber, a grand, pink throne occupied the center. Seated upon it was an exceptionally attractive, brown-skinned boy of about 15 years old, who had long pink hair and striking pink pupils with a deep pink cross at their center. He gazed at the screen before him with a stoic expression before turning his attention to Gray, who knelt before him.
"She has Saintess magic but isn’t a Saintess. Interesting," he commented with his hand resting beneath his chin.
"Is this the girl you told me about, Gray?" he asked, focusing on Aurianna’s image displayed on the screen.
Gray nodded respectfully, "Yes, Sacred Kielbasa." as she raised her head to meet his eyes. The boy was like a splitting image of Paige and was extremely beautiful. His long pink hair reached the ground and he wore an extremely luxurious pink robe.
"I see. For a human, especially one who isn’t a demon, this is the first time I’ve witnessed such abilities, apart from those monster Saintesses from other churches," Kielbasa mused.
"Are you certain she’s not affiliated with any other church?" Kielbasa inquired, to which Gray shook her head, indicating that Aurianna’s allegiance was unknown.
"She shows promise. After the war, make efforts to recruit her to our church," Kielbasa directed.
"I’ve already considered that, Sacred, and I’ll follow your command," Gray assured him.
"It’s my turn to enter the battle I feel a bit better!" Aurianna summoned two revolvers into her hands and dashed toward the battlefield, firing shots with lethal precision, aiming for the heads of the Infinite Nation knights killing them immediately. Her accuracy was uncanny, and her shots proved deadly.
"Auras Sogen," Aurianna willed as she leaped into the sky, materializing a massive bazooka. It targeted the knights below, unleashing a fiery shot that caused a massive explosion, instantly claiming the lives of hundreds of knights, including some from Sandeph’s.
"Fire, fire, fire!" Aurianna willed as the colossal bazooka continued to unleash a relentless barrage, with no sign of stopping, causing multiple explosions.
Aurianna glanced upward, spotting a wave of magic arrows closing in on her. She quickly summoned two sabers, expertly using them to deflect the incoming arrows. However, the knights around her weren’t as fortunate. She then lunged towards the approaching enemy forces.
A group of Infinite Knights raised their spears and and quickly thrusted them into her body, causing her to raise an eyebrow in surprise. "Their spears turned black?"
Aurianna grinned and retaliated, slashing off their heads and performing a roundhouse kick that shattered their formation. She casually removed the spears embedded in her body, her rapid healing process leaving the enemy knights in awe.
"How is she managing to pierce our hardened bodies?" one trembling Infinite Knight mumbled in fear as he stepped back.
Aurianna quipped, "I’ll admit, your bodies are tough to cut, but they’re not as hard as Astral rock." With her crystal sabers, she swiftly killed more than fifty enemy knights in an instant.
Aurianna swiftly sidestepped their sword and spear thrusts, countering with a swift weapon switch and a shot to the head.
But out of nowhere, she felt a searing pain as her gut got skewered, and her body was cleaved in half by a knight sneaking up behind her.
"A Chaos Human?" Aurianna gasped softly, managing to grab her body parts and reattach herself in the nick of time.
"Ugh, talk about being in a pickle," Aurianna grumbled, realizing she was completely surrounded by a bunch of knights radiating an entirely different aura from the knights she’d been tangling with.
In the blink of an eye, a woman closed the gap between them and made contact with Aurianna’s stomach. The energy swirling around the woman’s hand threw Aurianna several kilometers away, and she crash-landed quite ungracefully.
"These Chaos humans are a real pain. But let’s see if a human’s strategy is better than the strategy of monsters," Aurianna mumbled with a grin.
"Okay, everyone, let’s use the formation!" one man in the group of Chaos humans hollered.
"Got it!" they all yelled, charging towards Aurianna in unison.
A male knight promptly unleashed a wave of flying swords toward Aurianna, who expertly blocked them. However, her body was instantly covered in ice.
"An ice attack, huh? A mage? No, rather a combat or warrior mage," Aurianna pondered as she quickly surveyed her surroundings.
Aurianna took a combat stance and lunged toward the warrior mage, but just as she did, an arrow zipped into her head, causing it to explode in a gruesome way. Luckily, her head regenerated immediately.
