Chapter 155: Chapter 141: War against the Infinite Nation 3

"The angel of War is here!" Announced a knight and everyone’s attention was turn to the being in the sky.

An extremely tall and beautiful fair-skinned woman who had six large, black wings, and a pair of empty crimson eyes that seemed to lack light appeared. Her blue irises were adorned with black crosses in the middle. With a kind stoic smile, she gazed upon the mortals below, as she sat upon a fluffy cloud.

[ Today the war between the Infinite Nation and the Sandeph HighLand shall commence. The first round fighters please step forward. ] The angel announced and the knights from each nation quickly walked forward.

[ It’s is good that you’re all 30 km away from each other, we can’t have your powers affect those not participating. ] The angel said with a smile.

[ The rules are the same. No kings shall participate until the third round! Once the round’s participants have been selected there shouldn’t be a massive interference. Now let the war begin! ]

[ The goddess of war and the goddess of games are spectating. ] The angel declared.

[ Let the war now commence! ] The angel’s voice boomed through the land.

[ Twenty thousand knights from Sandeph are joining the first round. And two hundred thousand are joining from the Infinite. ] The angel announced and King Girsal had a shocked expression on his face.

"Those bastards!" King Girsal seethed through clenched teeth before he looked up at the angel with a calm expression.

"Oh Holy angel of war please can we add more people to our army?" King Girsal implored with a deep bow.

[ Very well, you may, but you can only add 100,000 more. ] The angel stated.

"Thank you for your kindness," King Girsal replied before he looked at the Duke’s. Understanding what he meant Duke Melissa and Antya went forward with their armies following behind them.

"This isn’t looking good, but I really want to see how this would turn out," Aurianna mumbled with a grin.

"Charge!!" Duke Melissa commanded and the knights rushed forward with their weapons

Aurianna immediately dashed before the army with amazing speed, and she jumped high into the sky and stood there watching both armies from below charging towards each other.

"What is that child up to?" Duke Anya wondered as she rode her drole.

"Babylonia!" Aurianna willed and suddenly a large rift cracked open in the sky revealing five pairs of collosal arms each holding massive guns and pointing it towards the Infinite Nation’s army.

"Stop charging and use your barriers immediately," a feminine petite voice rang out through the field like a melody. The Infinite Nation’s knights hearing the command all immediately casted protective barriers around themselves.

The massive arms in the sky began to release their bullets, the lady at the back of the army observed as the light bullets descended with a smirk.

"Does that mage think a mere light magic can pierce through our shields?" The petite voice sneered.

However, the woman was proven wrong when she heard screams erupting from her troops which alerted her.

"What the hell? How is her magic passing through their barriers and hurting them!" The woman cried out as she noticed the light bullets pass through their barriers and killed the knights immediately.

"Stop this at once!" The woman yelled and quickly summoned a large towering shadowy figure which appeared behind her and it sat before a piano. The being that had materialized in the sky, started to play a song which sent large destructive sound waves that immediately caused Aurianna’s light bullets to disintegrate.

"Change form!" Aurianna yelled towards the sky and the hands merged into two arms holding a large bazooka.

"Fire," she willed and a large amount of concentrated energy shot out from it heading towards the Infinite army.

"You have powerful magic but it’s a pity that this is child’s play to me," the woman muttered coldly as she began to sing. The woman revealed herself as she stood on air. A lovely woman with long black hair and a pair of beautiful red eyes, wearing dark purple armour.

"This voice, this feeling," Melissa mumbled as she looked at the woman above in fear.

"Dammit!! She’s a bard, everyone cover your ears!!" Melissa commanded in a panicked tone but she was too late. As the knights of Sandeph all heard the woman’s melodious voice they began to slaughter each other.

"Why is an Arc Human in the first round?" Aurianna trembled in fear as she watched the knights slaughter each other and Babylonia quickly crumbled under the woman’s power. The woman slowly walked to her. Despite the woman’s voice affecting the Sandeph army, it didn’t affect anyone in the Infinite army.

"Shit! I’ve never heard of a country sending an Arc Human in the first round. Isn’t this cheating? Isn’t it against the rules? What’s more no one could detect her aura making father lower his guard. But, if I don’t do something quickly the plan would fall into shambles," Aurianna thought as she began to panic.

The Bard who was enjoying the current outcome of the war pointed her finger at Aurianna as she continued singing. Music notes flew around her and towards Aurianna binding her in music strings.

"Momo, quickly, get her out of there!" King Girsal instructed in a panicked tone.

"Your majesty I’m trying, but there’s an extremely strong barrier there, I can’t enter!" Momo replied and King Girsal walked up himself placing his hands on the barrier but he too couldn’t release the barrier.

’Ah fuck!! The Infinite Nation is much crazier than I thought. I can’t let this round end just like this, I haven’t even gotten enough kills!’ Aurianna complained inwardly as the woman was now before her.

"You’re a nuisance so die!" The woman said coldly as she touched Aurianna.

Her touch felt as though a mountain had fallen on Aurianna, causing the young girl to cough up white blood and was immediately sent flying several kilometers causing her to crash into a nearby mountain, which was destroyed due to the impact and it crumbled on Aurianna.

"Princess!" Duke Anya yelled.

"You should focus on the opponent before you," the Bard said coldly before she began to sing once more. Suddenly, the sky was filled with a massive orchestra of over thirty beings, each standing over thirty feet tall, and accompanied by six colossal speakers. The music’s vibrations caused the knights of Sandeph to bleed from their ears, and the very ground crumbled beneath them, killing thousands in an instant.

"You bastard!!" Duke Melissa yelled in frustration before she rushed towards the Bard aiming to strike at her with her gauntlets. But one of the orchestra trumpet users noticed her and played its music in Melissa’s direction. A massive laser was released from its trumpet at Melissa before it landed on the ground releasing a large explosion that engulfed Melissa as well as other knights of Sandeph.

"Fucking hell," Aurianna cursed, spitting out white blood as she crawled out of the rubble of stone. She looked ahead to see the battle taking place far away from her. She immediately dashed there and landed before the Arc Bard.

"I thought I killed you already," the Bard mused her voice like music.

Without uttering a word Aurianna suddenly ripped off her own arm and threw it into the sky. Which surprised everyone even the Arc Bard.

"I have no way of beating you, but I don’t plan to die here!!" Aurianna yelled.

"Round table!!" She yelled and the ground quaked beneath her. A massive white portal materialized behind her, and a colossal hand seized her severed arm, tossing it into its mouth in the portal.

"Arghhhhhh!!" Aurianna screamed in pain as well as the being coming out from the portal which joined her scream, causing a loud unsettling cry through the battlefield. Their voice disrupted the Bard’s song and caused the shook the entire battlefield.

The Bard covered her ears as the sound the strange entity from the portal made was too unbearable for her, causing her ears to bleed.

The being from the white portal pulled itself out of the portal and grinned as it held its large scythe. It was a large white crystal male knight who had had its eyes covered and wore no shoes his feet bare. It stood thirty feet tall the pressure it released caused everyone who stared at it to tremble.

"What the hell is that?" Melissa wondered as she clenched her burnt arm.

"That thing again?" Duke Anya mumbled, her voice trembling with fear as they all stared at the massive golem.

"Girsal, it’s larger than before and different," Amber’s voice trembled as she watched the golem.

"I can see," King Girsal answered with a frown.

"Should we still try to break the barrier?" Lauren asked.

"Wait let’s watch," King Girsal instructed.

"Why not summon me too master?" A cute girlish voice sounded in Aurianna’s mind, a voice she didn’t expect to hear. Her second arm immediately vanished, sending waves of pain coursing through her body, causing Aurianna to scream in agony erupting another terrifying scream through the battlefield.

Another portal opened up, revealing a giant, white crystal golem. She wore frilly attire, had her eyes covered, and sported two playful pigtails as her hair. A radiant halo gleamed brightly above her head, and she wielded two massive sabers which she playfully swang around with ease. She stood just as tall as the male knight.

"I didn’t summon so why the fuck did you take my arm?!" Aurianna who was not please yelled angrily as she glared at the knight.

"Let’s not curse master, I see you’re in trouble so let us help. I’ve been itching for a fight for a long time. So let me fight please," the knight asked as she looked at Aurianna with a creepy smile.

"Fine," Aurianna agreed with a sigh. Aurianna struggled to get up and she used her crystal skill creating herself two crystal arms which attached themselves perfectly to her body. She opened and closed her arms to checked if they worked properly.

The female knights beamed with delight. "See, master, you’ve got your hands back, and you can wield your crystal magic even better now!"

"Why is her hands not healing?" Queen Amber asked Girsal with a nervous tone.

"It’s a price," King Girsal concluded with his hands behind his back. "For the power of the golems which is serveral times more powerful then her and can go against Arc Humans, she won’t heal."

’She’s dangerous,’ King Girsal thought with a dark calculated expression as he eyed Aurianna.

"We’ll take care of the big strong ones while you handle the small fried is that alright?" The female knight added. Even though she and Aurianna were conversing in everyone’s eyes they could only hear Aurianna speak but not the golems.

"Nia, Abed kill the Arc Human Bard, I also feel there’s another Arc Human kill them too," Aurianna instructed as she looked at the two of them. But suddenly Aurianna slumped on the ground, writhing in excruciating pain as she felt her body was being ripped to shreds. She screamed in pain and bit her lips.

"Are you okay master?" Nia asked as she bent down and looked at Aurianna using her large finger to gently rub the little girl.

"I’m fine," Aurianna said through rasped breathes.

"You sure? because I’m sure with the pain you’re feeling now it would be impossible to stand. Any other individual would have died from such pain!!" Nia said in an excited tone.

"Just shut up, pain is something I must get used to if I want to summon the full round table," Aurianna said as she got up and looked at Nia.

"The pain is more than you can handle, master," Nia told her.

"I promised Eva I’ll stop cursing, but you’re really getting on my fucking nerves Nia," Aurianna glared at Nia.

Nia who was unfazed by Aurianna’s words changed the subject, "I love the new name master gave me, Abed do you like your name?" Nia got up and asked Abed.

"Mmm," he nodded in agreement.

"Yay!!" Nia jumped happily causing the ground to tremble.

A notification from the system caught Aurianna’s attention, and she couldn’t help but smirk. [ The goddess of war is interested in your summons. ]

"What the hell are those golems, angels?" The Bard questioned anxiously as she looked at the golems nervously. They had remained silent for a while, but their horrible imposing aura was enough to send shivers down her spine.

"Now let’s begin the slaughter! Remember Abed, to leave the small fries for our master," Nia beamed as she disappeared form her position and in a blink of an eye she appeared behind the Bard and slashed her saber towards her splitting the ground to several pieces causing hundreds of knights from both sides to die. However, the Bard remained unharmed due to the barrier around her.

"Hey, hey watch where you wing your weapon, you’ll end up leaving none for me to kill!!" Aurianna yelled furiously at Nia.

"Sorry master, I shall end this with quickly," Nia apologized.

The Bard begin to sing a song loudly causing sound waves that slashed at Nia and her song notes gaining physical form and attacking Nia. However her song notes had little effects on Nia as she walked towards the Bard, quickly closing the gap between them. She swung her massive saber, sending the Bard hurtling across the battlefield, causing destruction in her wake. The knights who were caught in the attack were slashed to pieces and those she stepped on were crushed to death.
