Chapter 53: Chapter 53 : Train or Die

After several hours of traveling through the sky, the private jet finally began descending.

Arthur leaned slightly toward the window, watching the endless ocean below. The deep blue water stretched as far as the eye could see.

Then slowly—

An island appeared.

It was large, isolated, and surrounded entirely by the vast sea.

No nearby cities.

No neighboring islands.

Just pure solitude.

’This place is really far from civilization...’ Arthur thought.

The jet slowly landed on a private runway built near the coast.

The engines roared briefly before going silent.

Yuna stood up casually.

"We’re here."

Arthur followed her out of the jet.

The moment they stepped onto the runway, several maids immediately approached them.

They were dressed in elegant uniforms and stood in two lines.

The moment they saw Yuna—

They bowed deeply.

"Welcome back, Lady Yuna."

Their voices carried absolute respect.

Arthur raised an eyebrow.

"Wow."

He glanced at Yuna.

"Looks like they really respect you."

Yuna simply shrugged as she began walking forward.

Arthur followed just behind her.

"Of course they do," Yuna said calmly.

"The previous owner of this island enslaved all the people living here."

Arthur frowned slightly.

Yuna continued walking.

"My master sent me here on a mission years ago."

"To kill him."

"And free everyone."

Arthur blinked.

"Oh."

Yuna nodded.

"Ever since then... they treat me like a queen."

Arthur rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"So tell me something."

Yuna glanced at him.

"What?"

Arthur smiled casually.

"If you die in the future... and I’m your only student..."

"Will I inherit all your money and properties?"

Yuna’s mouth twitched violently.

SMACK.

Her hand immediately struck the back of Arthur’s head.

"OW!"

Arthur rubbed his head.

"It was just a question!"

Yuna glared at him.

"Next time I’ll shove that question up your ass."

"How would that be for an answer?"

Arthur raised both hands defensively.

"No thanks."

"I imagine that kind of answer would be very painful."

Yuna rolled her eyes.

A car was already waiting for them nearby.

Both of them entered the vehicle.

The driver immediately began driving.

The road cut through lush greenery and tall palm trees.

The ocean breeze drifted through the open windows.

Ten minutes later—

The car stopped.

Arthur stepped out.

Then he froze.

Before them stood an enormous villa.

The structure looked like something taken straight out of traditional Japanese architecture.

Wide wooden terraces surrounded the entire building.

Elegant curved rooftops layered over one another.

Large wooden pillars supported the structure.

Sliding doors made from wood and rice paper lined the front entrance.

A stone pathway led through a carefully maintained garden.

Small ponds filled with koi fish reflected the sky.

Stone lanterns stood beside trimmed bonsai trees.

A bamboo fountain gently poured water into a shallow basin.

The place looked peaceful.

Refined.

And incredibly expensive.

Arthur slowly walked toward the entrance.

"Wow..."

He looked around in awe.

"Now this is a sight to behold."

They entered the mansion.

Inside, the floors were polished dark wood.

Soft tatami mats covered several sections.

Beautiful calligraphy paintings hung on the walls.

Decorative swords and traditional ornaments were displayed in glass cases.

Large open windows allowed sunlight to illuminate the interior.

Arthur walked around slowly, exploring everything.

"This place is insane..."

Then suddenly—

He heard something.

THUD.

BAM.

A muffled sound echoed from outside.

It sounded like someone was being beaten.

Arthur frowned.

"What the hell was that?"

He looked toward Yuna.

Yuna only smiled.

"Why don’t you find out for yourself?"

Arthur narrowed his eyes.

Then he walked toward the source of the sound.

He stepped outside through the back entrance.

Behind the mansion—

A massive training ground spread across the land.

The area was enormous.

The ground was covered in packed sand mixed with gravel.

Several wooden training dummies stood lined up.

Massive stone blocks were scattered across the area.

Thick ropes hung from wooden beams.

Large metal chains were anchored into the ground.

Heavy iron weapons lay stacked near the side.

Huge logs rested nearby as if they were used for strength training.

There were also stone pillars with cracks all over them, clearly broken from repeated strikes.

The place looked brutal.

It was clearly designed for martial artists to push their bodies to the absolute limit.

Arthur walked forward slowly.

Then suddenly—

A girl came running toward him.

Her sudden appearance startled him.

She had blonde hair tied loosely behind her head.

Her body was covered in blood.

She wore a tight sports bra and short training shorts that clung to her toned figure.

Sweat and blood covered her entire body.

Arthur’s eyes widened.

"Fuck!"

"Do they train with zombies here?!"

He immediately started stepping backward.

BAM.

The girl suddenly collapsed.

She grabbed Arthur’s leg tightly.

Her voice came out weak and broken.

"G...give me..."

"W...water..."

"Food..."

Then—

Her body went limp.

She lost consciousness.

Arthur stared down at her.

He took a deep breath.

Then forced a smile onto his face.

"Don’t panic."

"Don’t panic."

"It’s just a dead body covered in blood."

He nodded to himself.

"Just kick her off..."

"And go back inside."

"No one will suspect anything."

Then he leaned closer.

He squinted at her face.

"Wait..."

"Why does she look familiar?"

"Have I met her before?"

Just then—

Yuna’s voice came from behind him.

"Looks like she made it back."

Arthur turned.

He pointed at the unconscious girl.

"This dead girl... do you know her?"

Yuna raised an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about?"

"You know her too."

Arthur frowned.

"What?"

Yuna shrugged.

"You met her when she came to pick up her brother at the hotel."

Arthur looked down again.

He stared closely at the girl’s face.

Then—

A chill ran down his spine.

His eyes widened.

"...Julia Vale Valmont."

The prodigy of the Valmont House.

One of the strongest martial arts families in the world.

Arthur slowly looked back at Yuna.

Sweat formed on his forehead.

"What... happened to her?"

Yuna smirked.

"What do you mean what happened?"

"She wanted me to train her."

She shrugged casually.

"So I trained her."

Arthur stared at the unconscious girl for a moment.

Then suddenly—

He burst into loud laughter.

" HAHAHAHA! Now i perfectly understand why isabella was grinning so much."

He bent forward, clutching his stomach as he laughed uncontrollably.

Yuna raised an eyebrow.

"What happened?"

She looked at him strangely.

"Did you lose your mind?"

Arthur pointed at Julia’s unconscious body.

Then he wiped a tear from his eye.

"Take me back to the hotel."

"I quit."

Yuna’s smirk slowly deepened.

Her eyes gleamed with amusement.

"Now you cannot escape from here."

She raised two fingers in front of him.

"There are only two possible outcomes."

She spoke calmly.

"Either you will return as the strongest of your generation..."

Her voice turned colder.

"Or as a dead body."

Arthur stared at the two fingers.

A vein popped on his forehead.

"There doesn’t seem to be much of a choice."

Yuna shrugged.

"There is."

"Dying will also suit you."

She smiled sweetly.

"And I promise to make it painless."

Arthur immediately straightened his posture.

"I will train with all my heart."

Yuna nodded proudly.

"That’s my disciple."

Then she pointed at Julia.

"Now take her back inside the mansion."

"And give her something to eat."

She stretched lazily.

"I’ll freshen myself up."

"Then we can start your training."

She walked away toward the mansion.

Before disappearing inside, she waved her hand casually.

"Enjoy yourself until then."

Arthur watched her leave.

Then he sighed.

He bent down and lifted Julia into a princess carry.

Her body was surprisingly light.

Arthur shook his head.

"Lately I’m doing this a lot."

He carried her back into the mansion.

The moment he stepped inside—

A maid immediately approached them.

She bowed politely.

"Young Master, please place her on the floor."

"I will cast a healing spell."

Arthur froze for a second.

’Young Master?’

A smug smile slowly appeared on his face.

’I can definitely get used to hearing that.’

He carefully placed Julia on the floor.

The maid raised her hand.

A soft green light began glowing in her palm.

Then the light spread across Julia’s body.

The healing magic slowly repaired the wounds on her skin.

Bruises faded.

Cuts closed.

Swelling disappeared.

Only the dried blood remained on her clothes and skin.

After a few moments—

Julia’s eyelids slowly fluttered.

Her breathing changed.

Then suddenly—

A terrifying killing intent exploded from her body.

Arthur blinked.

"What the—"

Before he could react—

Julia lunged forward.

"I’ll kill you, you bastard!"

She grabbed Arthur by the collar and slammed him onto the floor.

Arthur’s eyes widened.

She pinned him down completely.

Arthur struggled.

But he couldn’t overpower her at all.

’Just how strong is she?!’

He grabbed her wrists.

"Hey!"

"You crazy woman!"

"Unhand me!"

"I just saved your life!"

The maid quickly stepped forward.

"Miss Julia!"

"You are back in the mansion."

"Look around you."

"You are not in danger anymore."

Julia froze.

Her eyes moved slowly.

She looked around the room.

The familiar interior of the mansion entered her vision.

Her killing intent slowly faded.

Then she realized something.

She was sitting on top of Arthur.

Her hands were gripping his collar.

And their faces were only inches apart.

Her face instantly turned bright red.

"Kyaa!"

"What are you doing here?!"

Arthur instantly kicked her away in frustration.

She fell backward onto the floor.

"Ouch....what the hell was that for "

Arthur sat up and took a deep breath.

"I was trying to breathe, damn it!"

He pointed at her angrily.

"You brute-strength orc of a woman!"
