"Ahh...!! So delicious! He has such high-quality meat!" Yuka exclaimed. Her woman’s face showed ecstasy, while the tentacles of her lower body grabbed the other half of Li Zhong’s body and greedily shoved it into the giant mouth in her abdomen. That mouth munched on the remains with relish.

Both Zee Whang and Dao Su were stunned by the turns of events. They didn’t understand what was going on. A loud booming sound was heard. The building they were in shook, and a loud alarm sounded.

In the brief, Li Zhong instructed them to gather whatever was important and approach him. They would flee together using the Shift Stone.

"Break the seal!" Lin Li repeated without answering Yuka’s question.

The dark rays crashed into an invisible layer at the entrance. The words of power around the workshop brightened, and the building shook even more.

"Haaa...!!" Yuka bellowed as she exerted more force. The dark rays shooting out of her eyes thickened and darkened further. Finally, with a boom, the invisible layer broke. The words of power flared brightly before vanishing altogether.

At almost the same time, a second boom sounded. They heard the front doors break and fall to the floor. Not long after, a masked and hooded person walked into the room. The person removed his mask.

Zee Whang’s eyes turned wide. "Yo–You...?! How are you in this realm?"

"A friend of yours?" Dao Su asked him. Zee Whang didn’t answer.

Lin Li gave the necklace with the black space ring to Amon, who then wore it around his neck.

"You can return now," Amon said.

Lin Li vanished. Amon turned to Yuka. "I meant you as well."

"Heh... What’s the difference between being trapped inside my usual prison and being inside that ring? If anything, I can’t even move if you will it. My old prison is better in that regard."

"I will only restrain you if you seek to harm my tamed beast or go for the Primordial Blue Lotus. If you behave, you won’t find me restraining you. Also, you can choose to come out whenever you want."

Amon finally turned his attention to the other two people in the room.

Dao Su spoke first. "This is hard to believe. I don’t sense any mental link between you and that Zuanze Butterfly. I can’t believe that spirit beast listens to you when it is not your tamed beast."

"Who are you?" Amon asked.

"My name is Dao Su, the greatest Flesh Alterer that ever lived!" Dao Su declared. Anyone could hear the obvious pride in his voice.

"Greatest, my ass," Zee Whang responded. He then said to Amon, "What do you want? Did you chase me all the way into this realm to finish what you attempted all those years ago?"

Amon shook his head. "Don’t flatter yourself. You don’t mean that much to me. I suffer the same fate as you. I am no longer welcome in Aetheria. I am an exile from that world."

"Really? Why?" Zee Whang asked, but then he remembered. "Right... People found out you are a demon."

"Never mind that. We are not here to talk about me. I am here to give you an offer, and I need an answer quickly. I can’t be sure if the alarm in this place is linked to the authority in this city. Nevertheless, let’s say we have five minutes to clear this place."

"Offer?" Zee Whang was intrigued.

"You are a prisoner here, forced to do work for Hai Di, the lord of this domain. I currently serve under the lord of the Mercy Domain. She asked me to either procure you for her or kill you so Hai Di doesn’t get the benefit. If you follow me back to her, you will end up in the same condition as you are.
