It’s not just the few of us, there are other two groups with a similar number of people." Leng Pan explained and as if to confirm her statement, a signal flare lit up in the distance.
"Sister-in-law, they are in trouble." Lu Tao said urgently.
"You stay here and protect them. Your brother and I will go and bring them back." Leng Pan instructed as she walked to the window, opened it and jumped out from the security floor.
Lu Zhen followed behind her, jumping out as well and both landed smoothly in the middle of the zombie horde.
However, they didn’t have the time to fight so Leng Pan covered herself with spiritual spring water mist, making zombies avoid her like the plague.
Lu Zhen, on the other hand, lit himself up. He was covered in crimson flames that would turn everything that touched it to ashes.
So, the two ran out of the zombie horde like there was nothing there.
"Wow! So powerful." Someone marveled at the sight.
"I told you my brother and sister-in-law were super powerful." Lu Tao bragged.
Laughter rang in the room for the first time in days.
As Leng Pan ran further away, she could no longer control the mist she had set up as a barrier, so the mist disappeared little by little until it was gone.
The arrogant girl ran over to the window where the others were looking outside but saw nothing.
She looked around the room and didn’t see Lu Zhen.
"Where is Brother Lu?" She asked aggressively.
No one replied to her. Now that they had jumped ship, they weren’t going to indulge her anymore.
"Didn’t you hear me? Where is Brother Lu?" She asked again.
Lu Tao couldn’t take it and turned to face her.

They found one of the groups from their team surrounded by zombies that were attacking them relentlessly. Not giving them breathing space.
The team members were fighting and protecting each other with all their strength, yet some had already been injured and bleeding profusely, which only seemed to excite the zombies into attacking more sharply.
When Lu Zhen, who arrived first, got to the scene, he was greeted by a scene of a zombie sneaking an attack from behind one of the team members.
Its claws were stretched, nails sharp as nails extended, and a force behind the attack that would ensure the nails dug deep into the bones even if it didn’t split the person into two.
Without a second thought, Lu Zhen threw a fire ball at the outstretched hand, burning it into nothing and at the same time, saving the teammate.
When they felt the temperature suddenly rise from nowhere, the teammates breathed a sigh of relief because they knew that their savior had arrived.
However, this didn’t make them slow down, instead, it motivated them to fight harder.
Because now they had hope, and while hope was a dangerous thing if it led to despair, it could be a good thing when there was really a way.
Lu Zhen launched fire needles at the heads of the zombies that were too close to the teammates and each needle exited on the other side of the head with a crystal core, causing the zombies to collapse one after the other.
On the other hand, Leng Pan had arrived as well and was cutting down zombies from the outside of the encirclement like they owed her money.
