Rewriting My Fate in the Apocalypse-Chapter 337: Sorting Out the Products in the Warehouse
"I am guessing that water is my life, and so are you." Leng Pan replied cheekily as she stood on tiptoes and planted a light kiss on Lu Zhen’s lips.
Their antics lightened the atmosphere that had become heavy due to the battle earlier.
Now that they relaxed, Leng Pan took out a few solar lamps and lit them.
The warehouse was as dark as a tomb due to the lack of electricity and having it buried completely under the snow.
When it was bright inside, the team realized that the warehouse was filled with boxes of different skincare and hygiene products.
Apart from lotions, creams, and shower gels, there were also piles of boxes filled with wet wipes.
It looked like even if one didn’t take a bath, they could use these wet wipes to wipe their bodies down.
There were also many boxes of sunscreen, which was the primary reason they had come to that place.
All the boxes were stacked together according to their categories, making it easier to distinguish which product was which.
There were also several large shelves placed against one side of the wall where unboxed samples of the different products were put on display.
It looked like they were used to easily distinguish which boxes had what products because beside each unboxed and unpacked sample, there was a sealed box of the same product.
This also made it simple for Leng Pan’s team who didn’t understand much about the brand and the products they produced to distinguish them.
The women’s attention like at any other time when they saw skincare products or bags and shoes ran over to the shelves to examine the products displayed on them.
Momo was the first to grab a can of face cream.
She read the ingredients used in its production first as if in the apocalyptic world they were living in, it would still matter what ingredients were used in the making of her favorite face cream.
After reading all the ingredients, she then opened the can and took a long sniff.
"Wow! This smells like heaven. If I apply it on my face, I’ll smell like a sweet variety of chocolate all day long.
Mm...I am definitely taking this." She commented happily, seemingly forgetting that they were there to collect supplies and not to test and buy skincare products in a beauty shop.
"What about this one, its smell isn’t the best but the function listed here will definitely be of great use in the future." Li Yunjia who had joined in the craze marveled at a bottle of serum she was holding.
The instructions on the bottle explained how to use the serum and claimed that it could heal sunburns without leaving a scar or redness after only three days of use.
"What is it for? Let me see." Leng Pan wasn’t left behind as she picked a similar bottle beside where her mother-in-law had picked hers earlier.
"If it really does what it says, then we will need more of these." She while taking a small amount and applying it to the back of her hand.
She had taken off her gloves earlier when she was absorbing the ice and hadn’t put the back on.
After examining more of the products on the shelves, Lu Zhen realized that if the women were left to do as they pleased, it would be too late by the time they went back home.
"Panpan can put most of these boxes in her space, but how are we going to move what we need in the short term?" Lu Zhen didn’t want the team to become too dependent on his wife’s space because something might happen later causing it to become inaccessible.
If they relied on it too much, they would be in big trouble then.
He wanted them to have a creative mind and learn to think critically in a crisis.
This way, they won’t be overpowered by a situation they could easily control.
"Let’s take down these shelves and make sledges or a snowboat.
We can just pull them ourselves once on the surface.
It’s a form of exercise anyway." Juan Ke suggested after a short silence in the warehouse.
"Okay, let’s do as the gentleman suggested. We will take down the shelves and make several large snowboats or it might be easier and less work to just make large boxes and install something like sledges at the bottom for easy movement.
What do you all think?" Ouyang Jin made his own suggestion due to the constraints of time.
"That’s a better idea. It will take a shorter time and it’s more space efficient. Does anyone have any tools we could use?" Juan Ke readily agreed to Ouyang Jin’s idea and immediately walked over to the shelves and picked up the empty boxes nearby then started packing the products put on the shelves for display.
When no one offered any tools, Leng Pan thought for a moment and made a suggestion that opened the mind of everyone.
"We can use our superpowers in whatever way we want.
Why not turn them into tools and start working.
Anyone with a superpower that could turn solid like mine or a metal ability can make tools.
Those with an idea of what tools are needed, please explain it to us. We will make the tools."
"Why didn’t we think of that? Since our superpowers can turn solid and make swords and spears when fighting, why can’t they make tools?" One of the guys rescued from the underground lab wondered out loud after hearing Leng Pan’s suggestion.
"Okay, get moving. There is no time for idle chit-chat.
Chat while you work." Vanish patted the guy on the shoulder while urging everyone to move and start working.

Some were duplicates but it was good because they needed to make more snowboats.
While the men got to work on dismantling the shelves and making snow-friendly vehicles, the women began sorting out the different products.
