Accidentally Mated To Four Alphas-Chapter 284: _ The Alpha’s Dirty Work
"Wolves."
Morgan tilts his head. "Leeches."
Darien steps to the front. "We don’t want trouble." 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
The woman laughs musically. "Liar."
Morgan bares his teeth. "You always talk this much before dying, or is tonight special?"
Her gaze slides to Heidi and it stays there. "There you are," the vampire purrs. "We’ve been smelling you since dawn."
Morgan’s heart beats hard at once.
"What do you want?" Darien demands sternly.
The woman gestures lazily. "The girl."
Every muscle in Morgan’s body coils. What? They want Heidi?
"No," he barks, eyes thinning in warning.
The vampire arches a brow. "Excuse me?"
Darien’s head snaps toward him. "Morgan, let me handle this."
He ignores the fool. "Why do you want her? Do you want to die?"
The woman chuckles. "Because your Alpha told us she’s special."
What the hell? Tobias, after banishing her, still isn’t satisfied? Now, he wants to paint a target behind her back?!
Morgan’s hands clenches into fists. That man needs to be dealt with, he fumes.
"That’s why you have to kill his sons while you can. They are nothing but a tragic extension of who he is." The demon core nudges, fueling Morgan’s rage.
"We know she carries dual wolves. Pure celestial blood." The vampire smacks her tongue on her lips. "A delicacy for me and mine."
Darien goes still. "My father would never trade anything with you filthy blood suckers!"
Morgan rolls his eyes so hard he practically sees his own brain. Of course, he wouldn’t... until he did. Tobias has always been a snake, only now he’s doubled down and polished his fangs. "Darien," Morgan drawls, dragging the word out like a venomous ribbon, "I hate to break it to you, but our dad’s always been doing the nasty work behind the scenes. What makes you think this is new?"
The vampires laugh at that. The leader’s silver hair swings around her face as she smiles, lips curling dark with menace. "Wolves... always pretending they’re noble. Always rallying around little packs, barking orders, teaching lessons. And yet, when the dirt calls, the leaders themselves—your precious Alphas—have us do the dirty work for them."
Morgan’s grin spreads. "Not surprised. Let them have you do whatever." His hands flex, demon core humming beneath his skin like a predator leaning forward. "Do all the dirty work you want. But you don’t touch her."
The vampire leader tilts her head, her crimson eyes glinting. "Why not? Tobias told us explicitly: Do what you will. Take her, break her, whatever pleases you. And who is this little wolf," she gestures lazily toward Morgan, "to stop us?"
Heidi steps forward, chest rising and falling, and Morgan can feel the storm gathering around her. "Leave us alone," she warns. Her voice isn’t just words—it’s a pulse, and a quake. She radiates power that even Morgan’s demon core hums at in recognition.
The leader laughs. "Sweet thing, your threat amuses me." She glances at the vampires behind her. "Do we entertain the little wolf’s tantrum?"
Morgan scoffs. "Sure, why not. And when I tear your face off, you can file a complaint." He crouches low instinctively, muscles coiled. The forest itself seems to lean closer, waiting.
Darien steps up, his posture perfect Alpha, and shoulders squared. "I told you to leave. Walk away. You won’t find what you’re looking for here."
Morgan can’t stop himself from adding, "And if you don’t walk away? Well... that’s when it gets fun and absolutely what I Iove."
The leader arches an eyebrow, lips curling. "Fun? You think you can play with forty of us? And yet..." Her gaze sweeps the group, landing finally on Heidi. "You won’t survive this honey. If you come with us, we’ll provide you with pleasure beyond measure. I’ll allow my finest play with you while you give us a daily supply of your blood. Sounds fun, huh?"
Morgan freezes just long enough for blood to rush hot and heavy in his ears. "What?" His fists clench. "You want your bloodsucking shits to touch her? What the fuck—"
Heidi steps up beside him, moving fluidly like she weighs nothing. "I’d rather die than go with you." She’s small, but in this moment, she’s a storm contained in human form, and Morgan can feel every inch of her aura vibrating through the forest.
The leader laughs again, but this time it’s sharp and almost a hiss. "Bold. I like it." She steps forward, silver hair swinging, and leather jacket creaking. "Then let us play, little wolves."
Morgan doesn’t even think twice. He feels the shift inside him, the demon core rising to greet the challenge. His muscles ripple, the scent of his wolf flaring hot into the air, and he steps forward. Grayson and Darien do the same, and Heidi stands with them, pulse glowing faintly in her hands, eyes blazing.
The first move is instantaneous. The vampires surge, forty bodies, fast and onto them. Morgan lets out a low growl, claws extending, eyes flashing gold. His wolf erupts from within, muscle and sinew folding, stretching, teeth bared in a snarl. The demon core amplifies everything in him; strength, speed, senses, and hunger.
He’s never felt this powerful. His wolf has never succeeded in giving him anything that delicious. Lying to Lady Mirena about the demon core was the best decision he’s ever made.
Heidi’s wolf bursts beside him, white and silver, fur sparking with celestial light. Morgan watches and is left awestruck as she moves like a whirlwind, tearing through vampires with claws and teeth, energy slamming into their ranks. Every strike leaves scorch marks on the ground.
Darien shifts, too, his form rising, fur red and glinting, eyes blazing Alpha-gold. He’s a precision killer, methodical, calculating. Every step, pounce, and bite of his is perfect. He’s dangerous, terrifying, and Morgan notes, bitterly, that the bastard makes it look easy.
Grayson is weaker, slower for an Alpha wolf. He fights beside them, claws clashing with fangs, stumbling at points, snapping in fear and determination. Morgan watches him take blow after blow, the edges of his vision red with blood from shallow cuts and scratches, and for a moment, part of him aches. Wishes Grayson could just die like that and save him the stress of having to kill him himself.
"What if there’s something we can do about it?" The demon core so readily asks.
