However, after the constant battles with the zombies the few days they had been away, they had gained not only strength, but also new experience.

What is more, they had recovered their memories from their past lives. Hence, the experience brought from that world was also included.

The two didn’t wear any protective gear. Even though when fighting the zombies and aliens in the future they might wear something to protect themselves, now there was no need as there wasn’t the risk of infection.

As such, the two stepped into the center barehanded.

Before anyone could say anything they moved at the same time and attacked each other.

The way their attacks were used, one would mistake them for mortal enemies.

It was as if they were both out for blood. Any of their love for each other was forgotten and the person before them was an enemy they had to take down at all cost.

Li Yunjia and Auntie Li who were standing at the front of the crowd together with Uncle Li nearly screamed in fear when they saw this.

However, they were stopped by Uncle Li. He understood what the two were doing and didn’t want them to be interrupted.

He also wanted to see what his nephew and niece-in-law could do.

With the way those who had recovered their memories from the ancient earth revered them, he didn’t think it was empty worship.

He knew the two had substance, but he hadn’t expected them to be so serious about training.

Because they were not using any superpower, even though Leng Pan had developed fast healing abilities, the bodies of the two lovers were soon covered in injuries.

They went on for an hour before stopping.

Looking at their blood-covered bodies, no one would suspect that these two loved each other that they would die for their partner.

"Are you guys okay?" Li Yunjia ran over to the two as soon as they stopped.

She grabbed Leng Pan and turned her around as if to inspect if she had sustained mortal injuries.

One would mistake Leng Pan for being her biological daughter and Lu Zhen the son-in-law.

"We are fine Mom. These little injuries can’t do anything to us. We will be completely healed by tomorrow. Don’t worry." Leng Pan said to reassure her worried mother-in-law and elders.

Anyone could tell that they were worried beyond words.

"That’s good, that’s good. Do you guys have to be so brutal? You could have gone easy on each other." Auntie Li complained angrily once she heard that they were fine.

"Sorry for worrying you guys. But we have to be as realistic as possible when we train, because the enemy we face will certainly not go easy on us.

We have to practice on each other as if we are fighting enemies. Only this way would we increase our chances of survival." Leng Pan explained.

Even though she didn’t want to hurt her husband, she had to for him to survive in the future.

"Okay, we understand. Who is going next?" Uncle Li replied before turning to the others and asking.

The people who had just witnessed Leng Pan and Lu Zhen’s fight and still had lingering fear looked at each other with apprehension.

However, soon two people walked into the arena.

It was Ouyang Jin and Sonny. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

These two also came from the past and were few of the soldiers who had followed Leng Pan and Lu Zhen closely.

They had also trained with them on several occasions and experienced their brutality.

Thus, they had experience.

Today, Sonny had shaded his neat attire and put on sports wear. He had also put away his glasses and looked completely different.

One could tell he had a ruthless bone in him.

The two soon started their sparring and even though they were not as brutal as Leng Pan and Lu Zhen and their strength could also not compare, their methods were practically the same.

By the time they got off the ring almost an hour later, they were also covered in blood and injuries.

They could tell that when they woke up the next day, their bodies would be so sore that it would be a miracle to get off the bed.

They hadn’t fought like that in a long time. Even when fighting high-level zombies, they had mainly relied on their superpowers.

Now that they had to use pure physical strength, things were getting a little hard.

More people walked into the ring while those who left the sparring room went to the meditation room to rest and cultivate.

Everyone had their crystal cores and started training their superpowers even though they hadn’t used them.

Thus, this meant that if they continued to train like that, not only would their physical strength increase, even their superpowers would advance faster.

This had not happened on ancient earth, they didn’t know if it had something to do with the meteorites that fell or something else.

Leng Pan would never tell them that it had something to do with the spiritual spring water.

Everyone there had taken that water either directly or indirectly. Since it was used to make tea, coffee, and other beverages as well as cook food, everyone had taken it at some point.

Now they were reaping the results.

Seeing how useful the water was, Leng Pan offered to supply everyone with drinking and cooking water from that moment on.

Her water ability had improved and broken through to a high level. It was a piece of cake to supply water for everyone now.

Moreover, her water was mixed with spiritual spring water.

She also decided to absorb some more spiritual spring water later to make the water she produced more potent.
