Return of the Immortal Emperor Daddy-Chapter 130: The Appearance of a Ruthless Person
"Not bad at all." Inside the room, Wu Tian’s Spiritual Sense witnessed the scene, and he couldn’t help but smile. In this mundane city, a world where Spiritual Energy has long vanished, for the little one to grow so quickly is truly beyond my expectations. Her talent is something I’ve never seen before; perhaps only the Empress could compare. I’ve read her destiny. She is fated to become a ruthless ruler, possessing the aura of a supreme Empress.
"Are you kidding me? I have the talent of Zhang Sanfeng! There’s no way I can lose to a child!" Lu Yunsheng gritted his teeth, frantically unleashing his Inner Strength. His fists flew wildly, stirring up fierce gusts of wind that sliced across the snowy ground like knives, leaving deep marks behind.
"This isn’t fun," the little one said, shaking her head. Her tiny, chubby fist shot out as well, but at a deviously clever angle. It slipped past Lu Yunsheng’s flurry of punches, and with a leap, she smacked him squarely on the head. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"AH!" Lu Yunsheng cried out as a sharp pain lanced through his skull.
"Hey, with your mediocre talent, you’re no match for me. Go back and practice your cultivation for another five hundred years before you come looking for me again," the little one said with a sigh, placing a hand on her hip and speaking with a cocky air.
"You... you..." Lu Yunsheng was about to explode with rage. At Wudang, everyone praises my talent! And this child dares to call it mediocre? I can’t accept this! And what’s this about cultivating for another five hundred years? I don’t even know if I have fifty years left to live.
Lu Yunsheng turned to Wuyunzi, a thought striking him. "Uncle Master, you all said my genius was comparable to Zhang Sanfeng’s. Was that a lie?"
Lu Yunsheng began to doubt himself. He had always been supremely confident, believing that he would one day catch up to Zhang Sanfeng. He was convinced he had the same talent and that under his leadership, Wudang would surely flourish. Yet, he had just been defeated by a little girl. Losing to Guli Weileng was one thing, but he couldn’t even beat a child. He couldn’t accept it. His confidence was utterly shattered.
"Well..." Wuyunzi hesitated. Before, I would have told him without a second thought, ’Yunsheng, don’t doubt yourself. My brother and I are certain you have the talent of Zhang Sanfeng.’ But now, even I have my doubts. Have we been nothing but frogs at the bottom of a well? The truth is, none of us has ever seen what the talent of Zhang Sanfeng truly looks like. If Lu Yunsheng really has such talent and was still defeated by a child... doesn’t that mean Wudang’s founding ancestor was inferior to this little girl? Wuyunzi couldn’t bring himself to entertain the thought. He could no longer speak the words of reassurance, for doing so now would be an act of betrayal against his master and ancestors.
"Yunsheng, try to look at the bigger picture," Wuyunzi said, sidestepping the question.
Lu Yunsheng’s face turned ashen.
"Hey, are you two leaving or not?" the little one demanded, growing impatient as she watched Wuyunzi and Lu Yunsheng linger. When this baby gets mad, the consequences are severe!
"Uncle Master, let’s attack together! If we don’t, we’ll never get Zhang Sanfeng’s Secret Scroll! How will we bring glory to Wudang?" A thought suddenly reignited Lu Yunsheng’s spirit, and his voice filled with fervor. "For a child to be this powerful, she might have also been cultivating our ancestor Zhang Sanfeng’s Secret Scroll!"
Hearing this, Wuyunzi’s eyes lit up. If that’s true, the power of that Secret Scroll is unimaginable! Wudang could become the number one sect in the Dragon Country, or even the foremost power in the world! It’s not impossible! Who knows, in the future, the Wudang sect could be the shadow behind the Empire, its true Controller.
At this thought, Wuyunzi’s gaze hardened. "For the sake of Wudang, I am willing to sacrifice my own dignity," he declared.
Lu Yunsheng nodded, and in that instant, he and Wuyunzi attacked the little one in unison. Both employed Tai Chi, their movements perfectly coordinated. The force of their combined palms created a sharp whistling sound that was astounding to hear.
Faced with their simultaneous attack, the little one was stunned. "How can adults be so shameless?"
She was angry now. Recalling the scriptures Wu Tian had taught her, she slowly extended her palms. The next moment, they met the incoming attack, but there was none of the expected thunderous clash. Wuyunzi and Lu Yunsheng felt as if their fists had struck a massive sponge.
At the same time, the little one’s five cute fingers curled into a claw and gently pulled. Instantly, the Inner Strength of Wuyunzi and Lu Yunsheng was ripped from their bodies like a receding tide. Their essence was siphoned away by the little one and converted into Spiritual Power, causing them to age at a terrifying rate.
"What?!"
"My Inner Strength!"
Wuyunzi, losing even the strength to walk, collapsed to the ground. Lu Yunsheng, once a handsome man whose beauty could make women jealous, transformed into a decrepit old man in his seventies or eighties. His hair turned white, his skin sagged, and his face filled with wrinkles. His eyes became lifeless, his teeth fell out, and his back hunched over.
"Ah! A monster!" The little one, not realizing she was the cause, got scared and ran into the house. She scampered up the stairs to Qin Yuhan’s room and dove into the bed where Qin Yuhan was taking a nap.
"Why... why did this happen?" Wuyunzi whispered from the ground. He barely managed to utter these words before he breathed his last.
Lu Yunsheng’s eyes were wide with terror. How could this be happening to him? He hadn’t obtained any Secret Scroll; instead, he had lost his youth and beauty.
"Impossible! I’m Wudang’s prodigy! I still have to bring glory to Wudang! I..."
"Shut up." Wu Tian emerged from the house, unable to listen to any more of Lu Yunsheng’s prattling. A mere frog in a well. Where does he get this confidence?
"You..." Seeing Wu Tian, Lu Yunsheng tried to back away, desperate to escape. He wasn’t a fool; he understood now that this Wu Tian was no ordinary person.
"I think it’s time you joined your Uncle Master on his journey," Wu Tian said, his tone utterly flat. It was clear that in his eyes, Lu Yunsheng’s life was worth less than an ant’s. If he willed him to die, he would die. It was just that simple.
Hearing Wu Tian’s words, Lu Yunsheng panicked and immediately dropped to his knees. "I was wrong... Please, spare me... I know my mistake, and I’ll change... If you won’t give me a chance, then let me follow you, let me serve you..."
But as he begged, one hand crept silently into his pocket, preparing to toss a handful of poison powder.
Wu Tian casually waved his sleeve. A gust of wind rose from the still ground. In the swirling gale, Wuyunzi’s corpse and the living Lu Yunsheng were torn apart, their blood and flesh scattering on the wind until they vanished without a trace.
"Wudang," Wu Tian said, his gaze turning towards the distant sect. "The seeds of enmity have been sown. Rather than wait for the day you seek revenge, I will simply exterminate your lineage today."
His eyes were so cold that a heavy snow began to fall once more over Yang City.
