The next day, Penelope woke up feeling much better.
The woman was feeling well and smiling broadly. She inhaled the morning air that came in through the window. Maybe, Sarah had opened the window for her when she was asleep. When she heard a knock on her bedroom door, Penelope turned her head and motioned for the person, who had knocked on the door to come in.
"My Lady, you are awake?" said Sarah with a happy face and a big smile. She entered the room while running and immediately knelt beside Penelope’s bed. "How are you feeling now, My Lady?"
"I’m healthy and no longer have a fever!" Penelope raised her arms to reveal her small muscles. "Rather than that, is something good going on, Sarah? You look very happy."
"Oh!" Sarah clapped once. "That’s because My Lady’s wedding dress has arrived! My Lady, I believe you will be the most beautiful bride in the De Louis empire! Your wedding dress is very beautiful, My Lady!"
Hearing that, Penelope widened her eyes. Then, the woman’s eyes lit up. She got off the bed and held both of Sarah’s shoulders, who was already standing;
"My wedding dress? We did not measure my wedding dress at that time, right, Sarah? Why is my wedding dress suddenly here?" Penelope asked excitedly. Sarah laughed and put a scarf and sweater over Penelope’s body because she was still in her pajamas.

Her face was blushing, making Penelope tilt her head in confusion. "He only needed one night and immediately could find out and memorize My Lady’s body size."

"Sarah, don’t listen to that perverted Duke," Penelope grumbled. "Where is my wedding dress now? I want to see it, Sarah!"
Sarah chuckled and nodded. She led Penelope to a room where Penelope’s wedding dress was kept. Not only are there wedding dresses, but there are also wedding suits for Edmund. When Penelope entered, the woman covered her mouth with both hands. Her heart was beating so hard and fast that it made Penelope afraid her heart would jump out of her body right now. Penelope’s eyes began to tear up as if she wanted to cry.
"How is it? Did you like the wedding dress?"
The question made Penelope flinch and turn her head. She laughed and had tears in her eyes as Edmund wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her on the cheek from behind.
"You always make me feel happy, Ed," Penelope said. "And I really love that wedding dress. The dress is so pretty, Ed. Thank You."
"If you like it, if you are happy, then why are you crying, My Princess?" chuckled Edmund. He turned Penelope’s body to face him and immediately wiped her tears away with his fingers. "Hmm? You don’t have a fever anymore."
Penelope nodded. "Yes, I’m healthy. And these are tears of joy. Tears don’t always appear when someone is sad or hurt." The woman hugged Edmund’s neck and looked up. "Hey, why are you taking care of everything alone? Why don’t you ask for my help?"
"The last time I allowed you to manage our marriage, you ended up crying because the Crown Prince tried to harass you. So, how could I let you do such a dangerous thing again even if it’s for our marriage? Besides, I’m not alone. Evan does most of the work and takes care of everything."
Penelope chuckled and tiptoed to kiss Edmund on the lips. The two kissed for a long time and Edmund’s arms around Penelope’s waist tightened. When he was done with his kiss, Penelope brushed Edmund’s lips.
"In that case, you should provide an extra salary for Evan. He’s been working hard."
"You’re right," nodded Edmund. He stared at Penelope’s wedding dress he had chosen. "I deliberately chose a gold wedding dress to match the color of your eyes. I also want to tell everyone that you are as precious as gold in this world in my life. Anyone who dares to touch My gold will be hunted down and I will kill them. As important and as valuable as that is your existence to me, Penny."
"I don’t know if the Duke, who is known to be cruel in this empire, can actually be so romantic and poetic," chuckled Penelope.
Edmund shook his head and brought his forehead to Penelope’s. The man smiled. "I only act like that in front of you, Honey. Oh, good morning to my children too," said Edmund, touching and caressing Penelope’s stomach gently. The man knelt and kissed Penelope’s stomach. "Did you guys sleep well in there? Are you guys hungry?"
"Of course," Penelope nodded. "We are very hungry."
"Then," Edmund stood up and immediately picked up Penelope. The woman excitedly wrapped her arms around Edmund’s neck. "We better get straight to breakfast now. After that, we will meet with your Father and Mother to discuss our wedding which will be held next week."

"You can rest assured as Evan has everything under control," Edmund answered proudly, making Penelope snort in amusement.
"Evan does everything but you feel as proud as if you did it." Penelope snapped her fingers. "I’ll bake Evan a cake as a thank you."
"You don’t have to," grumbled Edmund. "Do you think I will allow you to bake cakes and give them to other men?"
"Duke Edmund," Penelope called in an amused tone. "You’re so adorable when you’re jealous. But, I’ll get angry if you keep doing things like this. I don’t like overly jealous men, do you understand?"
Edmund pouted. "Understood, Duchess Gerwyn."

Edmund Gerwyn and Penelope Askary’s wedding day arrives.
The wedding ceremony was so luxurious. Many nobles came to see the wedding which was said to be the most luxurious in the De Louis empire. Everyone couldn’t believe it when the handsome and cruel Duke Edmund chose Penelope Askary, who was known as a cruel woman in the De Louis empire, as his wife. However, some nobles say that the two of them are a perfect match because they both have the same predicate: cruel.

"I came as the Crown Prince’s partner," replied Isabella Lysander. "I didn’t get an invitation but my Father did."
"If you are the Crown Prince’s partner, why are you standing next to me and not accompanying the Crown Prince?" Ethan asked again. He looked for Sebastian De Louis and found him standing in the corner of the room holding his glass firmly and glaring at Edmund Gerwyn with hateful eyes. Ethan frowned. Aren’t those two men good friends? Why did the Crown Prince look as if he wanted to kill Edmund Gerwyn because the Duke had married his little sister?
"I’m not comfortable around Sebastian," Isabella answered. "Why? You don’t like me being here, Ethan?"
"I never said that," Ethan sighed and shrugged. "Just do as you please."
Meanwhile, Helios Rune Abelavish arrives along with Emperor and Empress Abelavish. The man looked sad like a big dog that lost its master. Empress Abelavish even had to scold him several times in secret.
"How is it, Penny?" asked Edmund. He smiled and caressed Penelope’s cheek affectionately. "Did you like our wedding ceremony? Are you happy?"
Penelope looked at Edmund with teary eyes. She refrained from crying on her own wedding day. The woman nodded and let Edmund hug her waist tightly.
"I am very happy. I never thought I would marry you when I always avoided you because I was afraid of you after having a carriage accident. I love you, Ed."
"I love you too, My little bunny. I also love our children."
When Edmund and Penelope kissed, everyone applauded wildly. There are only two people who don’t. They are Sebastian De Louis and Philleo Aaron. Both of them stared at the scene with cold and sharp gazes. Sebastian immediately left the place after throwing his glass down and Philleo smirked faintly.
"I will give the both of you the opportunity to enjoy this marriage even if only for a moment, Duke Edmund, Penelope Askary," muttered Philleo. "But, I promised I would take what should have been mine from the start. Penelope Askary will eventually come back into my arms. I will take her away from this empire and move her to a place Edmund Gerwyn will not be able to find her. I will live alone with Penelope and make her happy. Only I can make Penelope happy, Edmund. The man then went to congratulate Edmund Gerwyn and Penelope Askary. After Philleo left, someone appeared while munching on his food. He frowned at Philleo, who smiled kindly at Penelope.
"Is he obsessed with Princess Penelope? Does he love Princess Penelope?" muttered the person. He had been suspicious of Philleo ever since he caught him in Penelope’s room when she was staying at Gerwyn’s mansion.
